Dabei ist die Befestigungsvorrichtung derart ausgebildet, daß der Sperrstift im verbundenen Zustand der beiden Teile in die Querbohrung einrastet und die beiden Teile im Bedarfsfall mit Formschluß zusammenhält. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Befestigungsvorrichtung ist die Querbohrung im Füllstück ausgebildet oder durch dieses begrenzt. Normalerweise müßten beim Spritzvorgang zwei Kernhälften in die Aufnahmeöffnung eingelegt werden, von denen die eine einen dem Innenabschnitt der Querbohrung entsprechenden Vorsprung aufweist, und müßte nach dem Spritzvorgang zunächst die eine, glatte Kernhälfte und dann die zweite, den Vorsprung aufweisende Kernhälfte aus der Aufnahmeöffnung herausgezogen werden. Dazu wären entsprechende Führungen in den Kernhälften und/oder zur Verschiebung der Spritzteile erforderlich, was nicht nur technisch aufwendig ist, sondern bei Aufnahmeöffnungen mit kleinen Querschnitten, wie sie beispielsweise an Türdrückerteilen oder Stoßgriffen erforderlich sind, aufgrund enger Toleranzen und anderer Probleme auch gar nicht realisierbar ist. Claims (21)

1. A fixing device on fitment or furnishing members which can be releasably connected together and which have mutually associated first and second portions, wherein each first portion (1, 27) has at least one receiving opening (2, 31) and the second portion either has at least one segment (3,41) which can be inserted into the receiving opening or as a whole forms a segment which can be introduced into the receiving opening, wherein the fixing device comprises at least one resiliently outwardly projecting locking pin (4, 44) which is mounted displaceably in the segment (3) and at least one transverse bore (12, 34) which is formed in the first portion and which is disposed transversely with respect to the axis of the receiving opening (2, 31 ) and which extends from same to the outside surface of the first portion (1, 27) and into which the locking pin (4,44) engages resiliently and releasably from the outside, when the segment (3,41) is introduced into the receiving opening (2, 31), and wherein the transverse bore (12,34) has an inner part (14, 35) adjoining the receiving opening (2, 31), of a cross-section corresponding at least to the outside cross-section of the locking pin (4,44), and an outer part (15, 36) adjoining the inner part (14, 35) and the outside surface of the first portion (1, 27), of a cross-section which is considerably reduced in comparison with the inner part (14, 35), characterised in that the receiving opening (2, 31 ) and the inner part (14,23, 35) of the transverse bore (12,34) are provided in a filling portion (14, 23, 35) which is fitted into the first portion (1, 27) and fixed therein.
2. A fixing device on fitment or furnishing members which can be releasably connected together and which have mutually associated first and second portions, wherein each first portion (46) has at least one receiving opening (48) and the second portion (47) either has at least one segment (55) which can be introduced into the receiving opening (48), or as a whole forms a segment which can be introduced into the receiving opening, wherein the fixing device comprises at least one resiliently outwardly projecting locking pin (56) which is mounted displaceably in the segment (55) and at least one hollow space which is formed in the first portion (46) and which is disposed transversely with respect to the axis of the receiving opening (48) and which is extended from same to the outside surface of the first portion (46) and into which the locking pin (56) engages when the segment (55) is introduced, and wherein the hollow space has an inner part of a cross-section corresponding at least to the outside cross-section of the locking pin, and an outer part adjoining the inner part and the outside surface of the first portion (46), of a cross-section which is considerably reduced in comparison with the inner part, characterised in that the receiving opening (48) is provided in a filling portion (49) which is fitted into the first portion and fixed therein and the inner part of the hollow space comprises a free space (57) which is formed behind the rearward edge of the filling portion (49), said rearward edge being disposed in the first portion (46).
3. A fixing device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that the segment (3, 41, 35) comprises a bar and the receiving opening (2,31, 48) is of an inside cross-section which is matched to the outside cross-section of the bar.
4. A fixing device according to claim 2 or claim 3 characterised in that the segment (55) is cylindrical and is mounted rotatably in the receiving opening (48).
5. A fixing device according to claim 1 or claim 3 characterised in that the inner part (14, 23, 35) is formed as a blind hole.
6. A fixing device according to one of claims 1, 3 and 5 characterised in that the fitment members (1) are members of a door handle, wherein the locking pin (4) is mounted at the outer end of a handle bar (3) which is fixed to the second member of the door handle, while the first member (1) of the door handle has the receiving opening (2) for the bar (3) and the transverse bore (12).
7. A fixing device according to claim 3 characterised in that the handle members consist of plastics material and the receiving opening (2) and the transverse bore (12) are provided in a filling portion (10) of the handle member (1), which has plastics material (16) injected therearound.
8. A fixing device according to one of claims 1, 3 and 5 to 7 characterised in that the filling portion (10) has the inner part (14,23) of the transverse bore and a second bore (17, 25) which is in opposite relationship to said transverse bore and which is coaxial therewith and which is of the same cross-section, and that the outer part and the locking pin {4) are associated selectively with the inner part (14, 23) or the bore (17, 25).
9. A fixing device according to one of claims 6 to 8 characterised in that the axis of the transverse bore (12) is arranged perpendicularly to the axis (11) of the receiving opening (2) and parallel to the axis of the gripping portion of the handle member (1).

A fixing device according to one of claims 1, 3 and 5 to 9 characterised in that the fitment members comprise two push-type handles (27, 28), wherein the locking pin (44) is mounted on the outer screwthread-free portion (41) of a fixing screw (40) which can be screwed into the second handle (28) while the first handle (27) has the receiving opening (31) for the screwthread-free portion (41) of the fixing screw (40) and the transverse bore (34).
11. A fixing device according to claim 10 characterised in that the handles (27, 28) comprise plastics material and the receiving opening (31) and the transverse bore (24) are provided in a filling portion (30) which is fixed in the first handle (27) and which has plastics material injection moulded therearound.
12. A fixing device according to one of claims 1 to 11 characterised in that the filling portion (10, 30, 49) consists of metal.
13. A fixing device according to one of claims 1 to 12 characterised in that a peripheral groove (33) is provided in the outside wall of the filling portion (30).
14. A fixing device according to one of claims 2 to 4 characterised in that the two furnishing members comprise two arms (46, 47) of a towel holder, wherein the locking pin (56) is mounted at the free end of a cylindrical bar (55) which is fixed in the second holding arm (47) while the receiving opening (48) comprises the cylindrical central bore of a sleeve (49) which is fixed in the first holding arm (46), the free space (57) being provided behind the rearward edge of the sleeve (49), said rearward edge being disposed in the first holding arm (46).
15. A fixing device according to at least one of claims 1 to 14 characterised in that the filling portion (10) is connected to a steel insert (8) of the first member.
16. A fixing device according to at least one of claims 1 to 15 characterised in that the two fitment or furnishing members (27, 28) are braced relative to each other by at least one spring element (45) in such a way that the locking pin (44) is arranged with a clamping fit in the transverse bore (35).
17. A process for producing a fitment or furnishing member of plastics material by injection moulding, which has at least one receiving opening and a transverse bore extending transversely with respect thereto, characterised in that a filling portion (10, 30) having the receiving opening (2, 31) is produced, the wall of the filling portion (10, 30), which surrounds the receiving opening (2, 31), in order to produce an inner part (14, 35) of the transverse bore (12,34), is provided with a bore (17) which extends perpendicularly to the axis of the receiving opening (2, 31) and which passes completely through at least the wall portion disposed on the one side of the receiving opening (2, 31), plastics material is injected around the filling portion (10, 30), in which operation plastics material is prevented from penetrating into the bore (17) at least on one side of the receiving opening (2, 31) and finally at least on one side of the receiving opening (2, 31) a bore is produced through the wall portion (16, 23) of the fitment or furnishing member (1, 27), which is produced in the operation of injecting plastics material around the filling portion, thereby to produce an outer part (15, 36) of the transverse bore (12, 34), from the outside, said bore being extended to the inner part (14, 35) and the cross-section thereof being smaller than the cross-section of the inner part (14, 35).
18. A process according to claim 17 characterised in that prior to the injection moulding operation, the bore (17) is provided with a plug (26), after the injection moulding operation the wall portion of the fitment or furnishing member, which adjoins the plug (26) and which is obtained by the injection moulding operation, is bored through in order to produce the outer part of the transverse bore, and then the plug (26) is removed by means of a tool which is inserted through the outer part of the transverse bore, to produce the inner part of the transverse bore.
19. A process according to claim 17 characterised in that the bore (17) is covered with a cap prior to the operation of injecting plastics material around the filling portion, and after the injection operation the wall portion of the fitment or furnishing member, which adjoins the cap and which is obtained by the injection operation, and the cap, are bored through in order to produce the outer part of the transverse bore.
20. A process according to at least one of claims 17 to 19 characterised in that the wall of the filling portion (10, 30), which surrounds the receiving opening (2, 31), is provided with a bore which passes completely through the wall portion disposed on the one side of the receiving opening (2, 31) and is in the form of a blind bore in the wall portion disposed on the oppositely disposed side of the receiving opening (2, 31), which blind bore forms the inner part (14, 35) of the transverse bore (12, 34), and that after the injection operation both the wall portion (21) of the filling portion (10, 30), which delimits the blind bore, and also the wall portion (16,32) of the fitment or furnishing member (1, 27), which adjoins same and which is obtained by the injection operation, are bored through in order to produce the outer part (15, 36) of the transverse bore (12, 34).
21. A process according to claim 20 characterised in that, to produce a second inner part of the transverse bore (12, 34), in the injection operation, plastics material is also prevented from penetrating into the throughbore (17) and after the injection operation the wall portion (21) of the filling portion (10, 30), which defines the blind bore, and the wall portion (16, 32) which adjoins same and which is obtained by the injection operation, and/or the wall portion (16, 32) which adjoins the throughbore (17) and which is also obtained by the injection operation, are selectively bored through, in order to produce at least one outer part (15, 36) of the transverse bore (12, 34).
