Definitions

  • the invention relates to an impact detonator, in particular for rockets or projectiles, with a flight-time-dependent delay time between impact and ignition of the rocket or projectile in the target, with organs 23 for measuring the flight time, with organs 24 for measuring the delay time and with organs 28, 29 for adjusting the Delay time as a function of the flight time of the projectile or missile.
  • a known impact detonator see CH-A-608 604 there is a first counter designed as a self-dismantling counter, by means of which the projectile is destroyed if the target is missed after a given flight time. There is also a second counter, designed as a delay counter, which detonates the projectile in the target after a preselected delay time after the impact.
  • this known impact detonator has the disadvantage that it is not possible to delay the detonation of the projectile after the impact at the target, depending on the flight time.
  • the impact ignition delay time depends directly on the difference in the charge states of two capacitors, the first capacitor essentially maintaining a charge which was predetermined before the projectile was fired, while the charge before the Firing of the predetermined charge of the second capacitor is successively reduced with increasing flight time.
  • the impact switch is closed, the first capacitor is discharged in a defined manner via a resistor.
  • the ignition takes place at a certain voltage ratio of the two capacitors, preferably at the same voltage.
  • This known impact detonator has the disadvantage that it contains capacitors through which the reliability and accuracy of the detonator are impaired.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a combined impact and time detonator whose impact detonator works with a delay time dependent on flight time, without having additional capacitors or other passive electronic elements.
  • the invention is also based on the object of providing a combined impact detonator in which the delay time between impact in the target and detonation of the projectile can be increased in stages depending on the flight time of the projectile from the gun to the target.
  • the known impact detonator according to FIG. 1 has an impact switch 10 and a blocking switch 11.
  • the impact switch 10 is actuated when the projectile hits the target.
  • the lock switch 11 prevents premature actuation of the impact switch 10 during the firing phase and ensures the usual safety of the downpipe.
  • the two switches 10 and 11 are connected via a Nor gate 12 and the open switch 10 is connected via the Nor gate to a flip-flop switch 15 which consists of two Nor gates 13 and 14.
  • the flip-flop switch is switched over by the response signal of the impact switch 10.
  • the flip-flop switch 15 is connected via an inverter 16 to an RC oscillator 17 and via a nand gate 18 to a frequency doubler 19.
  • Both the flip-flop switch 15 and the RC oscillator 17 are connected to a self-decomposition counter 23 via a counting input 20.
  • the counter input 20 consists of two nand gates 21 and 22.
  • a delay counter 24 is connected to the frequency doubler 19.
  • Both the self-decomposition counter 23 and the delay counter 24 are connected to a squib 27 via a Nor gate 25 and an inverter 26.
  • the oscillator 17 is on two different pulse frequencies z. B. 250 Hz or 30 kHz switchable. A frequency of 250 Hz is fed to the self-decomposition counter 23. The delay counter 24 is exclusively supplied with a pulse frequency of 60 kHz via the frequency doubler 19.
  • two decoders 28 and 29 are connected to the self-decomposition counter 23.
  • the self-decomposition counter 23 and the decoder 29 are connected to the squib 27 via the Nor gate 25 and the inverter 26.
  • the response delay of an electronic ground igniter is essentially target-independent and constant. A delay time of approx. 250 ⁇ sec is initially sufficient for a projectile to strike the target first and then detonate.
  • the total delay time can therefore be selected between 250 and 460 ⁇ sec according to Table I, with the number of stages being freely selectable.
  • the circuit complexity is justifiable and is described in more detail below.
  • the self-decomposition counter 23 has a number of flip-flop stages, of which only the four stages A ⁇ , BB, CC and DD are shown.
  • the delay counter 24 also has a number of flip-flop stages, of which only the three stages D3 D3, D4 D4 and D5 D5 are shown.
  • the decoder 28 has a total of six nand gates 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35 and four nor gates 36, 37, 38 and 39.
  • the second decoder 29 consists of four nand gates 40, 41 , 42 and 43.
  • the four flip-flop stages of the self-decomposition counter 23 emit the following signals:
  • the nand gate 30 is connected to A and B of the flip-flop switches AA and BB of the self-decomposition counter 23.
  • the Nor gate 36 is connected on the one hand to the Nand gate 30 and on the other hand via Nand gate 34 to C and D of the flip-flop switches CC and DD.
  • the output of the Nor gate 36 provides signal S1.
  • the nand gate 31 is the flip-flop switch A A and BB of the self-decomposition counter 23 are connected.
  • the Nor gate 37 is connected on the one hand to the Nand gate 31 and on the other hand via Nand gate 34 to C and D of the flip-flop switches CC and DD.
  • the output of Nor gate 37 provides signal S2.
  • the Nand gate 32 is the flip-flop switch A with A and B. A and B B of the self-decomposition counter 23 connected.
  • the Nor gate 38 is on the one hand with the Nand gate 32 and on the other hand via Nand gate 34 with C and D the flip-flop switch C C. and DD connected. The output of Nor gate 38 provides signal S3.
  • the nand gate 33 is connected to A and B of the flip-flop switches A ⁇ and BB of the self-decomposition counter 23.
  • the Nor gate 39 is on the one hand with the Nand gate 33 and on the other hand via Nand gate 34 with C and D the flip-flop switch C. C. and DD connected. Furthermore, the Nor gate 39 is connected via an inverter 46 to the Nand gate 35, which is also ruled out at C and D of the flip-flop switches CC and DD.
  • the output of Nand gate 35 provides signal S4.
  • the flip-flop switches of the delay counter 29 emit the following signals:
  • Nand gate 43 is connected to Nor gate 36 of decoder 28 and to D4 of flip-flop switch D4 D4 of delay counter 24.
  • the two nand gates 40, 41 are connected to one nand gate 44 and the other two nand gates 42, 43 to another nand gate 45.
  • These two nand gates 44 and 45 are connected to the squib 27 via the nor gate 25 and the inverter 26.
  • the self-decomposition counter 23 is connected to the Nor gate 25. Since the circuit according to FIG. 4 is a simple logic circuit, a more detailed description does not appear to be necessary.
  • the blocking switch 11 prevents the piezo switch from being triggered prematurely.
  • the RC oscillator is switched by the impact switch 10 from the low frequency of 250 Hz to the high frequency of 30 KHz. However, these pulses no longer reach the self-decomposition counter 23, but 60,000 pulses per second reach the delay counter 24 via the frequency doubler 19.
  • the signal S1 is supplied to the decoder 29 upon impact, and as soon as the delay counter 24 has counted an interval of 120 microseconds, a signal is sent to the decoder 29 which together with S1 is able to trigger the squib 27, d. H. detonate.
  • the decoder 29 is the signal S2, respectively. S3, respectively S4 supplied and as soon as the delay counter 24, an interval of 180, respectively. 240, respectively Has counted 360 microseconds, a signal arrives at the decoder 29 which, together with the signal S2. S3, resp. S4 is able to trigger the squib 27, i. H. detonate.
