Description

The present invention relates to a panel intended for the production of premises, rooms or other, and, in particular, of dwellings, as well as to dwellings, coverings or similar constructions produced using these panels.

The invention relates in particular to panels which lend themselves to a simple, efficient and economical production of premises or partial or total covered spaces and which, for this purpose, are designed so as not only to have excellent insulation, but also to present dimensions judiciously chosen to facilitate their transport and handling, so that the construction system, based on the use of panels according to the invention, is perfectly suitable, for example, for the production of premises or removable spaces of the genre concerned.

According to a particular implementation of the panels according to the invention, the premises or spaces thus obtained comprise one or more units, the assembly of which does not present any problems and which are designed so as to allow their use as a dwelling proper at a or more pieces.

The panels according to the invention are, to make their use as simple, economical and rational as possible, preferably designed as hemispherical elements. q ues, equipped with external projections, so as to lend itself to the realization of simple and effective lightweight construction but very resistant, which not only can be fitted with doors, windows, blah age of assembled elements between two spaces or other, but have a free internal es- p ace studied so as to allow, even to the side walls, the use of the room without his fault address, and furnishings or arrangement without no special measures are required.

The panel according to the invention, which presents the aforementioned advantages and many other advantages, is mainly characterized in that it comprises a wide foot and impermeable to water, which carries a perforated wall or not, whose r périphé- i e is, with the exception of the base, connected by means of a small cap to an isosceles triangular-shaped element with a truncated top, which is cut under the cap and whose equal lateral sides descend to said foot, l all being optionally with the exception of the foot, made of an essentially thermally insulative material, such as, for exam- the p, a sandwich consisting of a layer of insulating foamed material material between two rigid layers.

The panel 1 according to the present embodiment of the invention, illustrated by FIGS. 1 and 2, essentially consists of an element in the shape of a spherical triangle, that is to say an element limited by two curved sides 2 and 3 of determined radius, and by a curved base 4 also of determined radius, the radius of curvature of this base being, in the present case, equal to that of the two lateral sides 2 and 3.

The panel 1 according to the invention consists of three layers, namely an outer layer 5 and an inner layer 6, both made for example of a reinforced synthetic resin, and an intermediate insulating layer 7 in a suitable heat-insulating material, such as expanded polyurethane, included between said outer and inner layers, and this with the exception of foot 8, which preferably consists of a single layer of reinforced synthetic resin and is profiled in L or practically in L.

Ledit pied en L 8 présente de part et d'autre du panneau 1 une gorge ininterrompue, respectivement 9 et 10.Said L-shaped foot 8 has on either side of the panel 1 an uninterrupted groove, respectively 9 and 10.

The top of the spherical triangle is generally truncated with a view to the formation of a flat or curved wall 11, a groove 12 of profile identical to that of said grooves 9 and 10 being provided in the upper edge of the panel 1 at a short distance from this wall. .

Profile 1 is completed in that it has, at its base and practically over most of the width thereof. ci, a wall 13, which is fixed to the body itself of the panel by means of a cap 14 which embraces it.

This wall 13 can serve either as a passage between a cham- ber or the like piece formed by the panels according to the invention and a room or similar part or the like, or as wall against which it is placed inside a cabinet or another any object, or even as a wall intended to receive a window, door or other.

Also, this wall 13 she will 'preferably a vertical wall, while the cap 14 is mounted at right or not on the airement and it is preferably slightly enlarged on the side of the shaped wall spherical triangle.

Said cap 14 may have a groove 141 intended, for example, to join two projections of two adjacent panels 1.

It should be noted that the aforementioned grooves 9, 10, 12 and 141 may have different depths, while the edge, respectively 91, 101, 121 and 142, located along these grooves, may have a height greater than or less than the thickness of the panel concerned, so that, in certain cases, this groove can be eliminated, for example when the edge 91, 101, 121 or 142 has a height greater than the thickness of the panel 1.

The panels 1 described in the preceding lines and represented by FIGS. 1-3 lend themselves in the manner illustrated by schematic figure 4 to the partial or total mounting of chambers or other parts, composed of panels 1 juxtaposed and provided with formed projections inter alia by the elements 13 and 14 and, as shown diagrammatically in FIG. 4, possibly provided with openings, respectively 15 and 16, as window or door openings or passage openings or the like.

The panels 1 according to the invention may be assembled in any suitable manner, although it is preferable to assemble them, according to a preferred embodiment, by means of said grooves 9 and 10 provided with appropriate clamping elements 17, the fixing of which to the panels 1 and to the feet 8 can be carried out in any suitable manner. These U-shaped clamping devices also ensure the watertightness of the construction in cooperation with said grooves 9 and 10 acting as gutters.

The side edge of the panel 1 may, if necessary, have under said U-shaped clamping devices a recess serving as a housing for all kinds of conductors or conduits.

It goes without saying that constructions of the kind defined above will have to be mounted on annular foundations, for example by arranging and appropriately fixing said leg 8, and by providing at the top a crown element cooperating in an appropriate manner with said ones. grooves 12 to ensure the assembly of the panels 1 also at this level, crown element which is preferably a part made of an appropriate translucent material.

Although the panels 1 are produced as such, preferably by manufacturing and assembling parts 5 and 6 and filling the space provided between them by injection of an insulating cellular material or by applying these parts 5 and 6 on the one hand and in addition to an already existing insulating layer, a particularly simple method of producing the panels according to the invention will be described in the following lines with reference to Figures 6 and 10 of the accompanying drawings, and this especially with regard to their shaping for one of the most common applications.

A hemispherical body 18 is at intervals an regular gulars provided with vertical notches 19 for the production of openings, the sum of the bases of which is, between certain limits, as large as possible relative to the perimeter of the base of the hemispherical body 18. In each of these notches 19 is then disposed a vertical wall 13, after which the caps 14 are mounted between the periphery of this wall 13 and said hemispherical body 18.

The elements 20 situated between the caps 14 and the walls 13 are then removed from the body 18 in order to obtain at the location of each of said walls 13 a space of sufficient height so that one can move along the walls at inside the hemispherical body 18 without having to bend over.

The hemispherical body 18 is then preferably cut along vertical planes into several parts, the number of which corresponds to that of the walls 13, provided that this is the number of walls required for the production of a transportable panel 1.

The shape of the wall 13 is preferably chosen so that its periphery follows a line which joins the ends of the horizontal lines drawn in the vertical wall 13, which extend from top to bottom according to the formula x n , where the exponent n is for example equal to 0.3183.

Finally, as shown in FIG. 5, the lateral edges of the panel according to the invention have a groove intended to accommodate, for example, electrical conductors.

It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described in the preceding lines, but provides for numerous modifications, additions and adaptations with regard to the shape and dimensions of the panels concerned, obviously provided that do not go beyond its framework defined by the claims below. Thus, for example, the panel according to Figure 1 can also be executed in two parts.
