Abstract

Die Erfindung sieht bei einer Vorrichtung zur Stützung des Kopfes von Babies und Säuglingen in einer Badewanne in Form eines in diese einlegbaren Einsatzes mit einer Vertiefung, in die der Kopf einlegbar ist, vor, daß, zu einer scheren Unterstützung des Kinderköpfchens in seitlicher Richtung und zur Verbindung eines Verschiebens in der Körperlängsrichtung, die Vertiefung an der Oberseite des Einsatzes einen von einer geschlossenen, insbesondere ovalen oder elliptischen Kurve gebildeten Rand aufweist.

Description

  • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zur Stützung des Kopfes von Babies und Säuglingen in einer Badewanne in Form eines in diese einlegbaren Einsatzes mit einer Vertiefung, in die der Kopf einlegbar ist.
  • Badewanneneinsätze dieser und ähnlicher Art sind vielfach bekannt (vgl. z.B. DE-OS 2 043 247, FR-AS 2 409 034, US-PS 1 512 068, 2 505 252, 2 531 724 und 3 965 496).
  • Aus der US-PS 3 162 864 ist ein Einsatz der eingangs genannten Art bekannt, der eine längliche, sich vom Hals des zu badenden Kindes weg sich erweiternde Vertiefung aufweist, wobei das Kind mittels mindestens eines um die Brust reichenden Gurtes während des Badens anschnallbar ist, um eine Festlegung in der Körperlängsrichtung zu ermöglichen. Nachteilig ist dabei, daß die Handhabung umständlich ist und das Festschnallen nur ungern vertragen wird, abgesehen davon, daß auch das Kinderköpfchen weder in seitlicher, noch in axialer Richtung unterstützt wird.
  • Die Erfindung stellt sich die Aufgabe, hier Abhilfe zu bewirken und einen Einsatz zu schaffen, der leicht und einfach herzustellen, handzahaben und zu reinigen ist und der eine zuverlässige Festlegung des Kinderköpfchens in axialer und seitlicher Richtung ermöglicht.
  • Dies erfolgt erfindungsgemäß dadurch, daß die Vertiefung an der Oberseite des Einsatzes einen von einer geschlossenen, insbesondere ovalen oder elliptischen Kurve gebildeten Rand aufweist. Der Rand der Ausnehmung bildet in dieser Weise eine sichere seitliche Abstützung für das Kinderköpfchen während des Badens, wobei gleichzeitig auch der Körper des Kindes gegen Verschiebung in der Körperlängsachse gesichert ist.
  • Wenn so viel Wasser in die Wanne eingelassen wird, daß die Ohren des Kindes gerade noch frei sind, hebt sich der übrige Körper dabei etwas vom Wannenboden ab und das Kind kann sich frei im Wasser bewegen; lediglich der Kopf ruht in der Ausnehmung des Einsatzes. Selbst temperamentvolle Kinder können von diesem Einsatz nicht herunterrutschen.
  • Ein weiteres Merkmal der Erfindung sieht vor, daß sie in an sich bekannter Weise aus einem weichen, körperfreundlichen und nichtrutschenden Werkstoff, wie Schaumstoff, Gummi, Kanstkaatschuk od.dgl. besteht. Dies ist z.B. aus der DE-OS 2 043 247 bekannt.
  • Die Erfindung wird nachstehend in zwei Ausführangsbeispielen anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert; es zeigen:
    • Fig.1 eine Draufsicht auf den Einsatz,
    • Fig.2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie II-II der Fig.l und
    • Fig.3 einen Längsschnitt durch eine Badewanne mit einem abgeänderten Einsatz bei Gebrauch, wobei das Kind in strichlierten Linien dargestellt ist.
  • Aus weichem, körperfreundlichem und nicht rutschendem Material, z.B. Schaumstoff, Gummi, Kunstkautschuk wird der in den Fig.1 und 2 dargestellte Einsatz 1 für den Kopfteil einer Kinderbadewanne hergestellt. Zur besseren Anpassung an die Badewannenform wird der etwa 7 cm starke Einsatz 1 im Grundriß bei 2 halbkreisförmig ausgerundet (Fig.1), ebenso wie im Aufriß eine Ausrundung 3 der zur Badewannenwand gelegenen Kante erfolgt (Fig.2). Der wesentliche Teil dieses Einsatzes 1 ist dabei eine Ausnehmung 4 in Form einer Vertiefung mit elliptischem Rand 5, in welchem das Kinderköpfchen zu liegen kommt. Diese Ausnehmung hat etwa die Abmessungen von 11,0 x 9,5 cm in den Achsrichtungen der Ellipse und ist für eine durchschnittliche Kinderkopfgröße gedacht. Im Hals- und im Rückenbereich ist der Einsatz 1 bei 6 abgeschrägt und somit der natürlichen Körperform angepaßt.
  • Bei der Ausführung nach den Fig.l und 2 reicht die Ausnehmung 4 über die ganze Höhe des Einsatzes 1. Bei der Ausführung nach Fig.3 reicht sie jedoch nur über einen Teil dieser Höhe, u.zw. von der Oberseite dieses Einsatzes sich nach unten erstrekkend, sodaß eine etwa 1-2 cm starke Kopfauflage 7 gebildet wird.
  • Der beschriebene Einsatz kann als Einsatzstück für eine Badewanne 8 hergestellt werden; er kann aber auch bereits in eine Wanne selbst bei deren Herstellung integriert werden, wobei er dann selbstverständlich aus demselben Material wie die Wanne selbst erzeugt wird.
  • Die Ausnehmung 4 kann auch von ovaler, polygonal gebrochener oder kreisrunder Form sein, sodaß sie einen Rand 5 entsprechender Form aufweist.

Claims (2)

1. Vorrichtung zur Stützung des Kopfes von Babies und Säuglingen in einer Badewanne in Form eines in diese einlegbaren Einsatzes mit einer Vertiefung, in die der Kopf einlegbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vertiefung (4) an der Oberseite des Einsatzes (1) einen von einer geschlossenen, insbesondere ovalen oder elliptischen Kurve gebildeten Rand (5) aufweist.
2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie in an sich bekannter Weise aus einem weichen, körperfreundlichen und nichtrutschenden Werkstoff, wie Schaumstoff, Gummi, Kunstkautschuk od.dgl.besteht.
