Definitions

  • the invention relates to a piezoelectric ringing transducer for emitting a ringing tone with a transducer plate which is clamped between elastic bearing bodies in its edge region and is provided with a piezoelectric layer and is actuated by a ringing oscillator which supplies two alternating signals.
  • a piezoelectric transducer of the type specified above is known from German patent 1 961 217. This type of transducer can basically be used as a sound generator or sound receiver. If these transducers are used as sound generators, in particular as signal generators for telephone sets, it is necessary to take certain measures in order to achieve a high volume.
  • transducers are used as ringer transducers in telephone systems, there are no requirements for a uniform frequency response, but the resonance points can be used to increase the sound to be emitted.
  • the object is achieved according to the invention in that the frequencies of the Singale two resonant frequencies of the transducer are tuned, wherein the resonance frequency is determined by the by the Wandlerpla t te certain plate resonance of the fundamental frequency and the other resonant frequency by a Helmholtz resonator, the front of the sound-emitting side of the transducer plate is arranged.
  • the desired strength of the call can be achieved relatively easily.
  • DE-A 2 310 582 discloses a piezoelectric transducer for emitting a ringing tone, which has a transducer plate provided with a piezoelectric disk, the plate being able to vibrate with two different resonance frequencies.
  • a special resonance element is provided, on which copper disks are applied and which serves as a carrier plate for the converter element.
  • a transducer plate is provided in the invention, which is provided with a piezoelectric layer. This arrangement is mounted in its edge area and coupled to a Helmholtz resonator, which is arranged in front of the sound-radiating side of the transducer plate.
  • a transducer is also known in which a Helmholtz resonator is arranged in the rear space of the transducer plate.
  • the task is to design this Helmholtz resonator so that it flattens the resonance peaks caused by the plate resonance.
  • the plate has two resonance frequencies. One is given by the fundamental and is around 1600 Hz, the second by the harmonic at around 3500 Hz. Since the transducer is to be designed as a microphone, these resonances must be damped to a predetermined level so as not to interfere with the Frequency response of the converter. This is achieved in that the Helmholtz resonator located behind the transducer plate is matched to the basic resonances and dampens them.
  • the harmonic is damped in another way, e.g. B. by appropriate storage or rigidity of the transducer plate.
  • DE-A 2 738 773 also describes a transducer which has at least two resonance frequencies.
  • the transducer has two oscillating plates, the first oscillating plate being able to oscillate electromagnetically.
  • the object of this arrangement is to make the frequency band wider, so that a large number of tone colors can be produced with low power consumption.
  • the transducer according to the invention is a ringing transducer.
  • a Helmholtz resonator is arranged in front of the transducer plate, which does not dampen but rather amplify a plate resonance of the transducer plate determined by the fundamental vibration.
  • the second resonance determined by the harmonic of the transducer plate is not used, since this cannot be achieved by a Helmholtz resonator.
  • the resonance of the Helmholtz resonator and the resonance frequency of the fundamental oscillation are close to each other, but they are not the same. It is essential that these resonances according to the invention from the ringing oscillator given frequencies are matched.
  • both call signals are reproduced at approximately the same volume.
  • the resonance frequency of the Helmholtz resonator may be higher than the resonance frequency of the transducer plate.
  • the maximum possible volume of the signal generator is determined by the resonance frequency of the Helmholtz resonator. A slight scatter in the frequency and the sound level is advantageous.
  • the signal transmitter shown in FIG. 1 consists of a housing 1, in the interior of which a transducer plate 3 provided with a piezoelectric layer 2 is arranged between two elastic long bodies 4 and 5.
  • the converter plate By arranging the converter plate, the converter is divided into different volumes, namely into a rear space 6 with the volume V 3 and the suspension C 3 , and into an anteroom 7 with the volume V 2 and the suspension C 2 .
  • a cylindrical opening 8 is provided on the outside, which forms the Helmholtz resonator opening with its mass m 2 , its frictional resistance r 2 and the area A 2 .
  • the converter plate 3 has a mass m i , a suspension CI and a frictional resistance r.
  • the transducer On the outside, the transducer is terminated with the acoustic impedance Z ak .
  • FIG. 2 is divided into the following areas:
