- the device for carrying out the process of the invention is of a very simple and very economical design and that the components are simply a rod 1 made of insulating material of high tensile strength such as, for example, a material made of filamentary glass and epoxy resin, a metal fitting 4 of internal geometry ensuring a significant undercut, and a metal fixing part 7. To improve the connection, the parts undergo mechanical machining.
- the method and the device according to the present invention find a particular application for securing insulator rods to their attachment fittings; however, it is possible to envisage other applications.
