Eine derartige Verriegelungseinrichtung hat jedoch einen wesentlichen Nachteil, der darin zu erblicken ist, daß eine jede Diele an beiden Enden mit den Riegeln versehen werden muß und daß die Riegel von Hand betätigt werden müssen. Der Auf- und Abbau eines Gerüstes ist hierdurch relativ zeitaufwendig. Es läßt sich ferner nicht ausschließen, daß die Riegel an den Gelenken bei vornehmlich im Freien erstellten Gerüsten mit der Zeit Rost ansetzen, wodurch zum Betätigen der Riegel auf diese möglicherweise Hammerschläge ausgeübt werden müssen.
