Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schaumwerfer für Feuerlöschzwecke mit einem Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen aufweisenden Werferrohr, das koaxial an eine Austrittsdüse eines Flüssigkeitszuleitungsgehäuses anschließt, wobei der Austrittsdüse ein längsverstellbares, zylindrisches Zentralrohrfür innere Luftzuleitung zugeordnet ist.The invention relates to a foam launcher for fire-fighting purposes with a launcher tube which has air passage openings and which coaxially connects to an outlet nozzle of a liquid feed line housing, the outlet nozzle being assigned a longitudinally adjustable, cylindrical central tube for internal air feed line.

Um eine gute Schaumentwicklung zu erreichen, muß dafür gesorgt sein, daß dem Flüssigkeitsstrahl im Werfer eine ausreichende Menge Luft zugeführt und zugemischt werden kann. Es haben sich daher Werfer als besonders geeignet erwiesen, bei denen die Luft nicht nur durch entsprechende Durchtrittsöffnungen des Werferrohres dem Flüssigkeitsstrahl von außen zugeführt wird, sondern zusätzlich auch noch direkt in den Flüssigkeitsstrahl einströmen kann. Dazu ragt, wie die DE-A-1434944 zeigt, ein zentrales Luftrohr in die Austrittsdüse des Flüssigkeitszuleitungsgehäuses, so daß durch die nun ringförmige Austrittsdüse der Flüssigkeitsstrahl einen hohlen Sprühkegel bildet, in den durch das Luftrohr Luft eingesaugt wird. Die äußere und innere Zumischung der Luft zum Flüssigkeitsstrahl garantiert die gewünschte Schaumentwicklung. Zur Beeinflussung des Verschäumungsgrades ist es dabei möglich, die Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen des Werferrohres und die Ansaugöffnungen des Luftrohres teilweise oder ganz zu verschließen, wodurch unterschiedlich stabile Schäume oder sogar reine Flüssigkeitsstrahlen erzielt werden können. Der Nachteil dieser Schaumwerfer ist bisher die fehlende Regulierbarkeit des Flüssigkeitsstromes, wodurch eine Anpassung der Durchflußmenge an die jeweils gegebenen löschtechnischen Erfordernissse unmöglich ist.In order to achieve good foaming, it must be ensured that a sufficient amount of air can be added to the liquid jet in the turret and admixed. The disadvantage of these foam throwers is the lack of controllability of the liquid flow, which makes it impossible to adapt the flow rate to the extinguishing requirements.

Gemäß der DE-C-652 241 gibt es auch schon einen Luftschaumerzeuger mit einem Leitkörper, der gegenüber einem Mundstück axial verschiebbar ist, um die Strahlenform ändern zu können. Außerdem läßt sich hier auf zwei verschiedene Arten Schaum erzeugen, und zwar einmal bei auf das Mundstück aufgesetztem Schaumerzeugungsrohr durch Zufuhr eines schaumbildenden Stoffes durch eine Längsbohrung des Leitkörpers in den aus dem Mundstück austretenden Wasserstrahl und das andere Mal bei abgenommenem Schaumerzeugungsrohr durch Zufuhr von Luft durch die Längsbohrung in ein Gemisch aus Wasser und Schaumbildner, das dem Mundstück zugeleitet werden muß, so daß entweder ein Schaumerzeuger mit aufgesetztem Schaumerzeugungsrohr, bei dem dann zentral eine Lösung schaumerzeugender Stoffe zugeführt wird, oder ein Schaumerzeuger ohne Schaumerzeugungsrohr vorliegt, bei dem zentral Luft zuführbar ist. Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe dadurch, daß die Austrittsdüse in an sich bekannter Weise einen zylindrischen Endabschnitt besitzt und das Zentralrohr einen gegenüber dem Mündungsquerschnitt des Zentralrohres verdickten Steuerwulst mit zylindrischem Steuerabschnitt aufweist, welcher Steuerabschnitt zur Durchflußmengenverstellung der Flüssigkeit in den Endabschnitt der Austrittsdüse einschiebbar ist. Die bisher ausschließlich zur Reinigung und Entschlackung der Austrittsdüse erforderliche Verschiebbarkeit des Zentralrohres läßt sich nun auf einfache Weise zur Drosselung des die Austrittsdüse durchsetzenden Flüssigkeitsstromes heranziehen, indem mit dem Zentralrohr der Steuerwulst in die Austrittsdüse eingeschoben und damit der Ringquerschnitt der Düse entsprechend verändert wird, wobei die Verstellung des Zentralrohres schwierigkeitslos auf beliebige Art, beispielsweise händisch, pneumatisch, elektrisch, direkt oder ferngesteuert usw., vorgenommen werden kann.The invention solves this problem in that the outlet nozzle has a cylindrical end section in a manner known per se and the central tube has a control bead with a cylindrical control section which is thickened compared to the mouth cross section of the central tube, which control section can be inserted into the end section of the outlet nozzle for adjusting the flow rate of the liquid.
