Für Pfeifen und Spitzen, deren Rohr aus zwei zum Einbringen des Einsatzes trennbaren Teilen besteht, wird der Einsatz zweckvoll mit einer vorgeschalteten Haltebüchse versehen, welche breiter als der eigentliche Einsatz ist und zur Festlegung des Einsatzes im Rauchkanal dient. Diese Haltebüchse kann gegebenenfalls nlit einer Filtermasse gefüllt werden. Dabei wird ein weiterer Fortschritt der Erfindung wirksam, der darin liegt, daß die Haltebüchse zugleich als Verbindungsglied der beiden Teile des Pfeifen- bzw. Spitzenrohrs wirkt. Es brauchen diese beiden Teile nur auf die Haltebüchse aufgesteckt zu werden. Es entfällt damit der bisherige Nachteil bekannter Pfeifen-und Spitzenröhre, daß das eine Rohrteil mittels eines Schraubhalses o. dgl. in ein Gegengewinde des andern Rohrteils eingeschraubt werden muß. Infolge der für den Einsatz notwendigen lichten Weite des Pfeifen- bzw. Spitzenrohrs ist meistens die Wandstärke des` Schraubhalses zu gering, weshalb dieser erfahrungsgemäß häufig abbricht, was die Unbrauchbarkeit der .betreffenden Pfeife oder Spitze zur Folge 'hat. Durch den Vorschlag, die Haltebüchse des Einsatzes als Verbindungsglied der Teile des Pfeifen- bzw. Spitzenrohrs heran- zuziehen, ist diese Gefahr vermieden. Spitzenrohrs dienen kann. Der Rauchabkühlungs- und -reinigungseinsatz besteht aus dem Innenrohr i i und dem Außenrohr 12, dessen Durchmesser kleiner ist als der Durch- messer des Rauchkanals 5. Das Innenrohr i i ist vorn und hinten offen, während das Außenrohr 12 hinten geschlossen und vorn mit radialen Öffnun- gen 13 versehen ist.
