Der Einsatz 14 ist gitterförmig oder mit Löchern versehen. Durch die öffnungen des Einsatzes wird Luft vom Ventilator 8 angesaugt. Außerdem wir die beim Säubern des Warenraums 4 anfallende Reinigungsflüssigkeit über die Öffnungen abgeführt.Der Einsatz 14 ist herausnehmbar, so daß der vordere Teil der Wanne, der auch die Abflußöffnung 16 enthält, ohne Aufklappen der Abdeckung 3 zugänglich ist. Das vor allem während der Ladenöffnungszeiten nachteilige Abräumen der Waren von der Abdeckung 3 zur Durchführung von Wartungsarbeiten wird vermieden. Der Einsatz 14 reicht auf der dem Kunden zugewandten Seite höher hinauf als der vordere Rand der Wanne und trägt an seiner Vorderseite ein Element 15 zur Warenauszeichnung, beispielsweise eine Preisschildleiste.
