1. A wall element (1) consisting of one or several layers with a visible outside and a rear as well as connecting profiles, which preferably consist of steel plate, along the vertical edges for the connection of juxtaposed wall elements, the connecting profiles of a connection being different in design in the manner of parts complementing one another in a plug connection and comprising detent parts (11, 12, 11a, 12a) which, as they are detented, resiliently engage one behind the other in the lateral direction, characterized in that each wall element (1) has similar connecting profiles on the two vertical edges, and in that the detent parts (11, 12, 11a, 12a) of the connecting profiles have contact surfaces which are held in abutting contact in the detented state by an elastic insert (13) between the connecting profiles.

Description

The invention relates to a wall element made of one or more layers with a visible outside and a back and preferably made of sheet steel connection profiles along the vertical edges for connecting adjacent wall elements, the connection profiles of a connection different in the way of complementary parts to a connector are formed and have resiliently engaging locking parts when they snap into place.

In the case of known implementable wall elements (German patent specification 1,784,535), existing holding plates, which are screwed to profile parts of the wall elements, are used to connect adjacent wall elements in the joint area along the vertical connecting edges. To cover the butt joint area, cover strips are provided, which are fastened by means of resilient webs, which resiliently engage behind the profile parts of the adjacent wall elements when they are placed on.

A known wall element of the type described at the beginning (British patent specification 872 817) has channel-shaped connecting profiles at the connecting edges, which engage with those of the subsequent wall elements. By means of such a plug connection, the wall elements are only held in the lateral direction by they spread apart elastically. A subsequent removal of individual wall elements is no longer possible without damage.

In contrast, the invention has for its object to provide a wall element with connection profiles that ensure a precise, flush connection to adjacent wall elements and represent an easily detachable connection.

According to the invention : This object is achieved in that the latching parts have contact surfaces which are held against one another in the engaged state by an elastic insert between the connection profiles.

The elastic insert, which maintains the engagement of the locking parts, ensures a precise, flush connection of the individual wall elements; it is also able to compensate for construction and structural or elemental dimensional deviations. Due to the elastic pressure through the insert, any noise generated during movements between the wall elements, e.g. when slamming doors, avoided. The insert also has a sound-absorbing effect and at the same time forms a seal against the passage of air or smoke.

The connection of two wall elements takes place according to the invention in that one connection profile of a connection has a U-shape in cross-section and the other has a piercing edge that fits with the insert and fits into the U-shape. The locking parts are Advantageously punched-out spring lugs, the end edges of which form the contact surfaces or projections which interact with recesses. When establishing a plug connection, the spring lugs lock together. In practice, several such spring lugs are provided over the height of a wall element, preferably at intervals of approximately 0.5 m.

A single wall element is removed either by pushing back the spring tabs that are engaged one behind the other with a flat, spatula-like tool and at the same time pulling the wall element out perpendicular to the wall, or simply by slightly lifting the wall element to be removed so that the spring tabs come to lie one on top of the other, the raised conversion element can thereby be pulled out freely.

The possibility of the individual assembly of the wall elements facilitates the installation and conversion as well as the retrofitting of electrical installations, sanitary lines or, in hospital construction, the accommodation of the lines for medical care. Partition walls consisting of wall elements of this type can be produced with any overall thickness, the elements being able to be produced with such great stability that a connection of opposite wall elements of a partition wall can also be dispensed with.

In a single-shell construction, the wall element can serve to clad stairwells or other masonry parts.

Vorstellwände in WC Bereichen.By attaching a sheet metal shell to the back of individual wall elements, narrow cabinet walls or e.g. Screen walls in toilet areas.

In the context of the invention, there are no difficulties in attaching the same connecting profiles to door frames, corner joints or window frame profiles, so that these parts can be connected to the wall elements without problems.

Bandrasterbauweise.
In the following, the invention is explained on the basis of exemplary embodiments. It shows:
  • 1 shows a horizontal cross section through two adjacent wall elements with a disengaged plug connection,
  • Figure 2 shows a partial section. II-II of Figure 1,
  • Figure 3 is a partial horizontal section through the connecting area of two wooden and wooden elements
  • Figure 4 is a horizontal section in the butt joint plane of two partition elements in a so-called band grid construction.

Figure 1 shows connection profiles for producing a plug connection between a wall element 1 and a cover rail 2 connecting two adjacent wall elements (so-called bandraster construction), such that after the plug connection has been made, the visible surfaces 1a and 2a of the outside of both parts lie in one plane. In its cross-sectional structure of the wall member 1 comprises an outer layer in F orm of a steel sheet-metal casing 3, is deposited with a filling 4 made of plasterboard and an insulating fiber layer 5, preferably made of mineral wool, which forms the back of the wall element 1. In the corner and front area, the steel sheet jacket 3 is stiffened by an angular base 6, preferably in the form of a steel profile; such a base can be dispensed with for low overall heights. A cross-sectionally I-shaped bar 7 serves to hold the insulating fiber layer; its transverse web 7a passes through the insulating fiber layer 5, its inner beam 7b lies from the rear of the wall element 1 against the surface of the insulating fiber layer 5 and its outer beam 7d lies against the inside of the insulating fiber layer 5 and the filling 4. At the connection-side end of the wall element 1, the I-bar is extended by a tab 7c (see FIG. 2); this; downward. Bent tab 7c is hooked into a protrusion 8 of the steel sheet jacket 3 projecting towards the inside of the wall element for fastening the I-bar 7. In the area of the formation 8, the base 6 has a corresponding opening 6a. Instead of the cover strip 2 shown in FIG. 1, which is constructed in a simple manner from an outer sheet steel jacket 3 with a filling 4 made of plasterboard, a further wall element, not shown, can also be connected directly (so-called axis grid construction). Regardless of the particular design, the connection profiles on the elements to be connected are always designed in the same way as a plug connection. The connection profiles formed on different elements of a plug connection are different, so that they fit together in the sense of a plug connection. In the case 1, the connection profile of the wall element 1 is formed as an extension of the steel sheet jacket 3 and bent back in a U-shape towards the outside of the wall element; into the interior of the U-shape 9 there is a piercing edge 10 provided on the connection profile of the cover strip 2. The connection profile with the piercing edge 10 has several punched-out areas in the area of the plug connection, which are bent out in the direction of the other connection profile to form spring lugs 11. In the same way, the other connection profile with the U-shape 9 likewise has punched-out portions for forming spring lugs 12, which are arranged at the same height as the spring lugs 11 of the corresponding connection profile. When the plug connection is made, the spring lugs press into each other and then engage one after the other in the end position. To achieve a play-free and tight connection, an elastic insert 13, preferably made of an elastomeric plastic, is arranged in the interior of the U-shape 9, into which the piercing edge 10 is pressed. Due to the elastic counter pressure of the insert, the spring lugs always lie snugly against one another with their projecting ends. While the U-profile 9 and the piercing edge 10 of the various connection profiles always run over the entire height of the wall element or the cover strip, the spring lugs 11, 12 are formed only at certain heights of the wall elements. Therefore, if you want to disconnect a plug connection again, this is possible in a simple manner, for example by lifting one of the two interconnected wall elements; the spring lugs 11, 12 reach a position offset from one another in height, so that the raised wall element disengages and can be pulled out of the wall composite.

Figure 3 shows a horizontal cross section in the area of the junction of two wall elements 1, the outer layer of which consists of wooden panels 24, which is reinforced at the front end by a base 25 made of vertical wooden strips. In order to achieve a sufficient insulating effect, an insulating fiber layer 5 is attached to the back of the wooden panels 24. The connection profiles, on the one hand with the U-shape 9, on the other hand with the piercing edge 10 are connected to the wooden plates 24 in the front -side connection area or by nails or screws from the rear. The visible wooden surface 1a of the wall elements 1 can be veneered, for example. The joint gap 26 between the wall elements can be kept particularly narrow thanks to the arrangement and design of the connection profiles, so that an additional seal can even be dispensed with.

Figure 4 shows a horizontal section through a double-skin partition in the so-called band grid construction in the area of the butt joint. A left partition element T1 is connected to a right partition element T2 via cover strips 2. The connection between / the individual wall elements 1 of the partition wall elements with the cover strip is shown as a plug connection, as described for example in FIG. 1. To simplify the illustration, different embodiments of the locking parts of the connection elements are drawn for the two wall shells. The bottom wall cups have Connection elements or locking parts according to FIG. 1. It can be clearly seen how the lugs 11 and 12 of the connection profiles are snapped together. On the other hand, the two wall shells shown above have latching parts which have an elongated spring nose 11a on the part of the piercing edge 10 and a recess 12a on the part of the U-profile 9. The recess can be punched out or pressed in.

In contrast to the partition element T1, the documents 6a in the partition element T2 are designed as fake profiles. The strips 7 of the partition wall element T1 and of the upper wall element of T2 in the drawing are designed as simple T-profiles. The lower wall element of T2 in the drawing has no stiffening made of plasterboard. The I-shaped strips 7, which bear directly on the sheet steel jacket, serve for the stiffening here. Brackets 16 hold the opposite wall elements of the partitions T1 and T2 together. The narrow joint gap between the cover strip and the subsequent wall element is closed by means of an elastic seal 17.
