Abstract

Настоящее изобретение относится к бактериальным инфекциям, вакцинам против этих инфекций и бактериальным вакцинам. Более конкретно, настоящее изобретение относится к вакцинам, направленным против стрептококковых инфекций у свиней. В настоящем изобретении предложен мутант ∆FolT бактерии, обладающий сниженной способностью транспортировать фолат, причем указанная способность была снижена путем функционального удаления функции транспортера фолата (FolT). В настоящем изобретении также предложен способ снижения вирулентности бактерии, включающий снижение способности указанной бактерии транспортировать фолат.
