Ujawniono koniugat białka nośnikowego i antygenu peptydowego, stanowiącego epitop białka OmpC, mający zastosowanie jako szczepionka chroniąca przed zakażeniami powodowanymi przez pałeczki jelitowe z rodziny Enterobacteriaceae, szczególnie gatunków z rodzaju Shigella. Przedmiotem wynalazku jest również kompozycja farmaceutyczna i szczepionka zawierające rzeczony koniugat oraz sposób jego otrzymywania i zastosowanie.
