Abstract

Система определения местоположения мобильного терминала содержит систему связи в малой зоне (50), например систему PHS, и центральную станцию (1), подключенную к телефонной станции (2), образующей систему PHS. Когда от центральной станции направляется вызов на телефонный номер мобильной станции (7), положение которой необходимо идентифицировать, то сигнал вызова через телефонные станции (2,4) и магистрали (3, 5), образующие систему PHS (50), передается на тот ретранслятор (6), который ближе всех расположен к мобильной станции (7). Поскольку мобильная станция (7) может определить идентификационный номер ближайшего ретранслятора (6), то путем обращения к базе данных системы PHS (50) может быть определено положение ретранслятора (6) с использованием базы данных ретрансляторов, предусмотренной на центральной станции управления (51). Положение может быть отображено на экране в центральной станции (1). Предлагаемое устройство определения местоположения мобильного терминала обеспечивает определение местоположения с низкими затратами и высокой точностью.
