Abstract

The alcohol-free beverages "Rise" provides prompt removal of alcohol, its decomposition products and toxic substances from the body in case of alcohol intoxication, and normalizes disturbed functions of the organism in case of the abstinence syndrome in persons free of alcohol dependence. The beverage for prevention and removal of the alcohol withdrawal syndrome includes water, fructose, citric acid, flavour additive and "Alcostop" biologically active composite additive comprising an organic compound of bivalent selenium, sodium succinate, ammonium succinate, thiamine (vitamin B), glycine (aminoacetic acid) in the following proportion in the prepared beverage, kg/100 dal of beverage: crystalline fructose - 60.00; cytric acid - 1.4; "Alcostop" additive - 0.10; flavour additive - 0.13; carbon dioxide - 2.15-4.15; water - the balance.

The emergence of an unpleasant psychophysical state after drinking is associated not only with a violation of water and electrolyte balance, but above all with intoxication with the products of the breakdown of alcohol, the so-called "post-toxic syndrome". Such alcohol poisoning is not subject to any active therapy, with the exception of severe cases that threaten a person’s life, and is limited to symptomatic means.

However, the overloading of the liver and kidneys with alcohol and its decomposition products (acetaldehyde, acetic acid, etc.), the increased activity of enzyme systems leads to a weakening of the body’s function, in particular to a decrease in the redox ability of the liver, and has an adverse effect on many metabolic processes hepatocytes, especially on the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates.

Non-alcoholic drink has acceptable organoleptic and detoxification properties, provides normalization of impaired properties of the body with withdrawal symptoms in both alcoholics and people who do not have alcohol dependence.
