Abstract
La presente invención provee un anticuerpo aislado que se une al dominio YC de fibrina o fibrinógeno. En varios aspectos, el anticuerpo inhibe la adhesión microglial al dominio ¿C de fibrina o fibrinógeno, inhibe la unión del Mac-1 al dominio ¿C de fibrina o fibrinógeno, y/o suprime los síntomas clínicos de la Encefalomielitis Autoinmune Experimental (EAE). Se proveen varios métodos para utilizar los anticuerpos, composiciones farmacéuticas, kits, vectores, células que comprenden los vectores, y métodos para generan anticuerpos.
