Claims (17)

1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et overflade-modificeret materiale, omfattende følgende trin: a) at tilvejebringe et substrat, hvor substratet omfatter på mindst en side et coatinglag omfattende en saltdannende alkali- eller jordalkaliforbindelse, og b) at påføre en flydende behandlingssammensætning omfattende en syre på mindst et område af coatinglaget for at danne mindst et overflademodificeret område på og/eller inden i coatinglaget.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor substratet fra trin a) fremstilles ved i) at tilvejebringe et substrat, ii) at påføre en coatingsammensætning omfattende en saltdannende alkalieller jordalkaliforbindelse på mindst en side af substratet for at danne et coatinglag, og iii) at tørre coatinglaget.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor substratet er valgt fra gruppen omfattende papir, karton, massivpap, plastic, cellofan, tekstil, træ, metal, glas, micablad, nitrocellulose, eller beton, fortrinsvis papir, karton, massivpap, eller plastic.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den saltdannende alkali- eller jordalkaliforbindelse er et alkali- eller jordalkalioxid, et alkali- eller jordalkalihydroxid, et alkali- eller jordalkalialkoxid, et alkali- eller jordalkalimethylcarbonat, et alkali- eller jordalkalihydroxycarbonat, et alkali- eller jordalkalibicarbonat, et alkali eller jordalkalicarbonat, eller en blanding deraf, fortrinsvis er den saltdannende alkali- eller jordalkaliforbindelse et alkali- eller jordalkalicarbonat der fortrinsvis er valgt fra lithiumcarbonat, natriumcarbonat, kaliumcarbonat, magnesiumcarbonat, calciummagnesiumcarbonat, calciumcarbonat, eller blandinger deraf, mere fortrinsvis er den saltdannende alkali- eller jordalkaliforbindelse calciumcarbonat, og mest fortrinsvis er den saltdannende alkali- eller jordalkaliforbindelse et formalet calciumcarbonat, et præcipiteret calciumcarbonat og/eller et overfladebehandlet calciumcarbonat.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den saltdannende alkali- eller jordalkaliforbindelse er i form af partikler med en vægtgennemsnitlig partikelstørrelse dso fra 15 nm til 200 pm, fortrinsvis fra 20 nm til 100 pm, mere fortrinsvis fra 50 nm til 50 pm, og mest fortrinsvis fra 100 nm til 2 pm.

Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor coatinglaget endvidere omfatter et bindemiddel, fortrinsvis i en mængde fra 1 til 50 vægtprocent, baseret på den samlede vægt af den saltdannende alkali- eller jordalkaliforbindelse, fortrinsvis fra 3 til 30 vægtprocent, og mere fortrinsvis fra 5 til 15 vægtprocent.

Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor syren er valgt fra gruppen bestående af saltsyre, svovlsyre, svovlsyrling, fosforsyre, citronsyre, oxalsyre, eddikesyre, myresyre, sulfaminsyre, vinsyre, fytinsyre, borsyre, ravsyre, suberinsyre, benzoesyre, og blandinger deraf, fortrinsvis er syren valgt fra gruppen bestående af saltsyre, svovlsyre, svovlsyrling, fosforsyre, oxalsyre, borsyre, suberinsyre, ravsyre, sulfaminsyre, vinsyre, eller blandinger deraf, mere fortrinsvis er syren valgt fra gruppen bestående af svovlsyre, fosforsyre, borsyre, suberinsyre, sulfaminsyre, vinsyre, eller blandinger deraf, og mest fortrinsvis er syren fosforsyre.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den flydende behandlingssammensætning endvidere omfatter en trykfarve, en pigmenteret trykfarve, et farvestof, en farve, metalioner, overgangsmetalioner, et overfladeaktivt stof, et opløsningsmiddel, et biocid, en korrosionsinhibitor, et farmaceutisk middel, et hydrofobiseringsmiddel, en voks, et salt, en polymer, en smeltelim, og/eller en polymeriseringssammensætning.

Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den flydende behandlingssammensætning omfatter syren i en mængde fra 0,1 til 100 vægtprocent, baseret på den samlede vægt af den flydende sammensætning, fortrinsvis i en mængde fra 1 til 80 vægtprocent, mere fortrinsvis i en mængde fra 2 til 50 vægtprocent, og mest fortrinsvis i en mængde fra 5 til 30 vægtprocent.

Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den flydende behandlingssammensætning påføres med sprøjtecoating, inkjettryk, offsettryk, flexotryk, filmtryk, udtegning, kontaktprægning, rotogravuretryk, spincoating, omvendt gravurecoating, spaltecoating, tæppecoating, slide bed coating, filmpresse, afmålt filmpresse, klingecoating, børstecoating og/eller en stift, fortrinsvis med inkjettryk eller sprøjtecoating.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den flydende behandlingssammensætning kontinuerligt påføres hele coatinglaget.
12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 10, hvor den flydende behandlingssammensætning påføres coatinglaget i form af et forvalgt mønster, fortrinsvis i form af kanaler, barrierer, arrays, endimensionale stregkoder, todimensionale stregkoder, tredimensionale stregkoder, sikkerhedsmærker, tal, bogstaver, billeder eller designs.
13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor fremgangsmåden endvidere omfatter et trin c) til at påføre et beskyttelseslag over det mindst ene overflade-modificerede område.
14. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor det mindst ene overflade-modificerede område opnået i trin b) vaskes eller skylles.
15. Overflade-modificeret materiale opnåelig med en fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 14.

Overflade-modificeret materiale ifølge krav 15, hvor det overflademodificerede materiale er et bioassayværktøj, en mikrofluidindretning, en indretning med et laboratorie på en chip, et papir-baseret analyse- og/eller diagnoseværktøj, en separationsplatform, et printmedie, et indpakningsmateriale, en vægmaling, en stregkode eller en datalagring.
