Claims (8)
1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af rå ferronikkel-produkter omfattende trinnene: (i) blanding af nikkelhydroxid med en jernkilde og slaggemidler, (ii) anbringelse af blandingen i kontakt med et reduktionsmiddel, som frembringer en ferreonikkellegering, og (iii) fremstilling af et ristet produkt, som har afsondret ferronikkellegering inde i strukturen.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor jernkilden er en jernmalm eller et metallisk middel.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor slaggemidlet er et eller flere valgt fra gruppen bestående af MgO, Si02, CaC03, CaF2 og CaO.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 3, hvor den totale mængde af slaggemidler er mellem 5 og 500% af ferronikkelmassen, fortrinsvis mellem 10% og 30%.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et vilkårligt af kravene 1 til 4, hvori reduktionsmidlet er valgt fra gruppen bestående af carbon, naturgas eller hydrogen.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 5, hvor mængden af reduktionsmiddel er mellem 50 og 500% af den støkiometriske mængde til at fremstille metallisk ferro-nikkel.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et vilkårligt af kravene 1 til 6, hvor trinnet ved fremstilling af et ristet produkt udføres i en ovn ved en temperatur i området fra 500 til 2000°C, fortrinsvis mellem 700 og 1200°C.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 7, hvor opholdstiden er ca. 6 timer.
