Claims (6)
1. Fremgangsmåde til at screene for begyndelsen eller prædispositionen for begyndelsen af en tyktarmsneoplasme eller overvågning af udviklingen af en tyktarmsneoplasme hos et individ, hvor nævnte fremgangsmåde omfatter at vurdere ekspressionsniveauet af et eller flere gener eller transskripter valgt fra: (i) genet, generne eller transskripterne detekteret af Affymetrix probesæt ID'er: 205935_at; og/eller (ii) FOXF1 i en biologisk prøve fra nævnte individ, hvor et lavere ekspressionsniveau af generne eller transskripterne af gruppe (i) og/eller gruppe (ii) i forhold til kontrolniveauer indikerer en neoplastisk tyktarmscelle eller en celle prædisponeret for begyndelsen af en neoplastisk tilstand.
2. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, hvor nævnte kontrolniveau er et ikke-neoplastisk niveau.
3. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1 eller krav 2, hvor nævnte celle er en kolorektal celle.
4. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor nævnte biologiske prøve er en faecesprøve, lavementvask, kirurgisk resektion, vævsbiopsi eller blodprøve.
5. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor nævnte ekspressionsniveau vurderes ved at screene efter ændringer i mRNA-ekspression, proteinekspression eller ændringer i den genome DNA-methylering.
6. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor nævnte individ er et menneske.
