i DK 169400 B1
Den foreliggende opfindelse angår en strækkelig, ikke-varmehærdet, strikket maskevare til kirurgisk brug, omfattende en flerhed af filamenter. Varen er fremstillet af enten et vævsabsorberbart materiale, såsom fibre af poly-5 glycolsyre (PGA), eller af et delvis vævsabsorberbart materiale, såsom blandinger af PGA-fibre og fibre af ikke-absor-berbar polyester eller polyamiid eller fibre af et andet medicinsk acceptabelt, ikke-absorberbart materiale. Ved "polyglycolsyre" skal der både forstås homopolymere og co-10 polymere, som indeholder en glycolsyreesterbinding.
Maskevaren har varierende grader af strækkelighed i kæderetningen eller islætretningen.
Maskevaren kan være anvendelig ved en lang række internt-kirurgiske procedurer, f.eks. som tamponeringsmiddel 15 til trykindeslutning og reparation af traumatisk skadede organer, såsom milt, lever eller nyre. Varen kan også være anvendelig som materiale med lav strækkelighed ved f.eks. reparation af en bugvægsdefekt, brok, urinvejene etc. Endvidere kan varen være anvendelig i områder af hjerte-kar-20 systemet og i hjernen. Desuden kan varen være anvendelig ved mundkirurgi, f.eks. til reparation af defekter og til at fremme vævsindvækst.
Selv om dimensionerne og vægten af varen kun er begrænset af den praktiske størrelse til den tilsigtede anven-25 delse, kan der normalt anvendes dimensioner fra 10 x 10 til 25 x 33 cm og vægte på 25 til 220 g/m2. Åbninger i varen kan normalt være fra nær 0 til 0,7 cm. Varen kan også være fremstillet som en rørformet protese.
En tegning, som beskriver formen og/eller den geome-30 triske konfiguration af maskevaren, er ikke nødvendig for forståelsen af opfindelsen, dvs. enhver fagmand inden for området vil kunne udøve og anvende opfindelsen efter læsning af beskrivelsen i almindelighed og eksemplerne i særdeleshed.
Til yderligere stabilisering af varen, dvs. for at 35 eliminere vandret eller lodret kant-krølning og regulere strækkeligheden, kan varen varmefikseres ved at holde både DK 169400 B1 2 længden og bredden på en bestemt størrelse i en nåle- eller klemramme, medens materialet udsættes for temperaturer på 90 til 175“C i tidsrum på 30 sekunder til 15 minutter, fortrinsvis i et vakuum. Varen kan også varmefikseres ved at 5 holde både længden og bredden på en bestemt størrelse på en opvarmet cylinder, medens materialet udsættes for temperaturer på 90 til 175'C i tidsrum på op til 4 timer i et vakuum.
Haskevaren ifølge opfindelsen er ejendommelig ved, 10 at hvert filament er fremstillet af en polymer, som kan være en homopolymer eller en copolymer indeholdende glycol-syreesterbindinger, og filamenterne er sammenlagt eller tvundet til at garn, som er strikket til en maskevare, og som har en titer over ca. 60 denier og indeholder op til 4 15 enkeltgarner, hvor hvert enkeltgarn indeholder mere end ca.
5 filamenter. Polymeren kan være fremstillet ud fra glycolid og trimethylencarbonat, og garnet kan have en titer på ca.
65 til ca. 85 denier og indeholde ca. 5-25 filamenter.
Ifølge en udførelsesform fremstilles maskevaren på 20 en tricotstrikkemaskine med 5,5 nåle pr. cm, hvori maskesystemet er følgende: forreste nålebarre: (2/0 2/4) x 2 (4/6 4/2) X 2 bageste nålebarre: (4/6 4/2) x 2 25 (2/0 2/4) X 2
Maskevarens vægt er ca. 135-340 g/m2, og dens kvalitet ca. 25-50 cm pr. 480 maskerækker.
Ifølge en anden udførelsesform fremstilles maskevaren på en raschelmaskine med 18,9 nåle pr. cm, hvori maskesyste-30 met er følgende: forreste nålebarre: 1/0 o/l bageste nålebarre: 1/0 4/5 Vægten af maskevaren er ca. 135-340 g/m2, og kvaliteten af varen er ca. 25-50 cm pr. 480 maskerækker.
35 En maskevare ifølge opfindelsen, der er beskrevet mere fuldstændigt i eksempel 1, er en strækkelig strikket DK 169400 B1 3 vare. Varen kan fremstilles på en tricotmaskine med 5,5 nåle pr. cm eller alternativt på en raschel-kædestol med 11,0 nåle pr. cm under anvendelse af en 2-barre-konstruktion. Varen varmefikseres ikke på nogen af disse maskiner.
5 Garnet, der anvendes ved strikning af maskevaren, kan have en titer på ca. 150 til 600 denier og mellem 4 og 20 snoninger pr. 10 cm. Varen har fortrinsvis en lukkemaske--konstruktion, således at den ikke løber op.
Denne maskevare er primært anvendelig inden for om-10 rådet organreparation. Nærmere bestemt er maskevaren værdifuld ved reparation af bløde organer, f.eks. milt, lever eller nyre. Varen kan også være anvendelig ved reparation af bugspytkirtlen. Endelig er varen anvendelig som organ--slynge under intern heling af organet. Imidlertid kan varen 15 også anvendes som retraktionsslynge til andre formål, f.eks. som retraktionsslynge ved strålebehandling.
En anden maskevare, der beskrives i eksempel 2 og 3, er en semi-strækkelig strikket vare. Den kan strikkes på en tricotmaskine med 11,0 nåle pr. cm under anvendelse af 20 en konstruktion med 1 nålebarre. Varen kan strikkes ud fra et garn med en titer på ca. 30 til 100 denier.
Denne semistrækkelige strikkede vare er anvendelig ved reparation af bugvæggen, reparation af brok, ved mundkirurgi, som midlertidig understøtning eller som bandage-25 materiale til at fremme vævsindvækst.
En anden maskevare ifølge opfindelsen er beskrevet i eksempel 4 og 5. Varen er varmefikseret uden strækning og stabiliseret. Varmefikseringen kan ske på en spændramme. Varen kan fremstilles på en tricotmaskine med 9,4 nåle pr.
30 cm eller på en raschelmaskine med 18,9 nåle pr. cm under anvendelse af en 2-barre-konstruktion.
Garnet kan være ca. 75 til 250 denier med mellem 2 og 20 snoninger pr. 10 cm. Fortrinsvis fremstilles varen under anvendelse af en kædestrikning, således at den bliver 35 stabil.
Denne vare er anvendelig ved reparation af bugvæggen.

En anden anvendelse kan være reparation af mellemgulvsdefekter. Endelig kan varen være anvendelig ved tracheamalaci.

1. Strækkelig, ikke-varmehærdet, strikket maskevare til kirurgisk brug omfattende en flerhed af filamenter, kendetegnet ved, at hvert filament er fremstillet 5 ud fra en polymer, som kan være en homopolymer eller copolymer indeholdende glycolsyreesterbindinger, og filamenterne er sammenlagt eller tvundet til et garn, som er strikket til en maskevare, og som har en titer over ca. 60 denier og indeholder op til 4 enkeltgarner, hvor hvert enkeltgarn 10 indeholder mere end ca. 5 filamenter.
2. Strikket maskevare ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at polymeren er fremstillet ud fra glycolid og trimethylencarbonat.
3. Strikket maskevare ifølge krav 2,kendete g-15 net ved, at garnet har en titer på ca. 65 til ca. 85 denier og indeholder ca. 5-25 filamenter.
4. Strikket maskevare ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at garnet har en titer på op til ca. 150 denier, og det totale antal filamenter pr. garn er op til ca. 75.
