i DK 168733 B1
Opfindelsen angår en fremgangsmåde af den art, der er angivet i indledningen til patentkrav 1, samt et apparat af den art, der er angivet i indledningen til patentkrav 8.
Et sådant apparat er kendt fra US patentskrift nr.
5 3.388.017. Ved rørlegemer, der er fremstillet ved hjælp af dette apparat, har det imidlertid vist sig, at svejsesømmenes ydre rande udviser steder, hvor svejsningen mangler, og som tenderer til at falde af, eller endda til at gå itu. Materialerester, der er faldet af inde i rørlegemet, kan da 10 komme ind i det materiale, som skal emballeres, og forurene det på utilladelig måde.
Opfindelsen beror på den erkendelse, at de områder, der tenderer til at falde af, dannes af det materiale, som under svejsningen presses ud af svejsesømmen. De ydre rande 15 af dette udpressede materiale afkøler hurtigt på grund af deres meget ringe tykkelse, hvorfor de ikke mere kan indgå nogen svejseforbindelse med det tilgrænsende materiale.
Formålet med opfindelsen er derfor at angive en fremgangsmåde og et apparat af den indledningsvis angivne art, 20 ved hvilke svejsesømmen ikke har uforsvejste rande af udpresset materiale.
Dette formål opnås ifølge opfindelsen ved de i patentkravene 1 og 8's kendetegnende dele angivne ejendommeligheder .
25 Længdenoten ved det indre bånd, som ligger an mod den søm, der skal svejsebehandles, meddeler svejsesømmen en defineret form og forhindrer dannelsen af udtrædende materialerande. Ved den kompakte bevaring af svejsesømmen sikres en ensartet opvarmning af foliebåndets hinanden overlappende 30 rande, hvorfor dannelsen af materialesteder, der afkøles i utide, udelukkes. Ved anbringelsen af længdenoten i det indre bånd flyttes svejsesømmen indefter, så at ydersiden af det dannede rørlegeme har en i det væsentiikge jævn overflade.
35 Opfindelsen medfører endvidere den fordel, at der ved et flerlags-foliebånd, af hvilket kun det indre lag må DK 168733 B1 2 komme i bnerøring med den færdige emballagetubes indhold, sikres en gennemgående forbindelse af det indre lag ved svejsesømmen, hvis kanten af foliebåndets indre rand i tværsnit tilskæres skråt på en sådan måde, at det indre lag 5 overrager foliebåndets øvrige lag. Ved hjælp af længdenoten i det indre bånd trykkes det udragende randområde under overdækning af de øvrige lag, ned til det mindre lag af det over for beliggende randområde.
Ved hjælp af opfindelsen opnås en fejlfri svejsesøm 10 til en emballagetube af høj kvalitet.
Foretrukne udførelsesformer som angivet i kravene 2 til 4, samt 9 og 10 er fordelagtige, hvis f ler lags-f oliebåndet har et metallisk materialelag, fortrinsvis et aluminiumlag, ved hvis induktive opvarmning de tilgrænsende form-15 stoflag bringes på svejsetemperatur.
Foretrukne udførelsesformer ifølge krav 5 til 7, samt 11 og 12 er fordelagtige ved forarbejdningen af et foliebånd, der ikke indeholder noget metallag, eller ved hvilket metallaget er for tyndt til, at der kan frembringes 20 tilstrækkelig svejsevarme ved hjælp af højfrekvensenergi. I dette tilfælde sker overføringen af svejsevarmen fra de som svejseværktøjer tjenende, roterende bånd, ved kontakt med foliebåndet.
De som svejseværktøjer tjenende bånd består fortrins-25 vis af stål. Deres opvarmning ved hjælp af højfrekvensenergi har den særlige fordel, at ingen andre dele medopvarmes. Da disse bånd fortrinsvis har en lille masse, kan de ikke alene hurtigt opvarmes til den nødvendige temperatur, men de kan også nedkøles hurtigt, således at der ved en stor arbejds-30 hastighed kan frembringes en særlig god økonomi.
En yderligere forøgelse af arbejdshastigheden kan opnås ved den i krav 12 angivne foretrukne udførelsesform.
Opfindelsen skal i det følgende forklares nærmere under henvisning til tegningen, på hvilken 35 fig. 1 viser skematisk et apparat til fremstilling af rørlegemer til emballagetuber, set fra siden, DK 168733 B1 3 fig. 2 i større målestok apparatets rørdannelsesområde, fig. 3 samme område i tværsnit, og fig. 4 i større målestok en enkelthed i fig. 3.
5 Det i fig. 1 skematisk viste apparat får tilført et foliebånd 10 fra en ikke vist forrådsrulle. Båndet, som består af flere lag, har et aluminiumlag, som er inkorporeret i mindst to termoplastiske formstoflag. Det mod tubens indre vendende formstoflag vender under tilførselen opefter. I 10 apparatet oprulles foliebåndet omkring en i båndets længderetning forløbende længdeakse kontinuerligt til et rør med hinanden overlappende rande, som sammensvejses ved påvirkning ved varme. Til foliebåndets oprulning tjener et neden under foliebanen anbragt, omløbende, drevet rem 12. Ved hjælp af 15 føringselementer 14 hvælves remmen 12 med sine to rande tiltagende opefter, for at oprulle foliebåndet omkring en i længderetningen oven over remmen 12 forløbende dorn.
De heraf resulterende, ved to indbyrdes parallelle kanter begrænsede rande af foliebåndet 10 bliver presset 20 mod hinanden imellem et indre bånd 16 og et ydre bånd 18.
De to bånd 16 og 18 tjener som presseværktøjer. Det indre bånd strækker sig langs med dornen inden i det rør, der skal fremstilles til en omstyringsrulle, således at det tilbageføres inden i det dannede tuberør.
25 Før det indre bånd 16, hvis en omstyringsrulle 22 når frem til rørdannelsesområdet 24, kan det i sin føringsbane ved hjælp af en indretning 26 forvarmes induktivt. En for-varmning er imidlertid ikke tvingende nødvendig, fordi der til frembringelse af svejsevarmen tjener en i rørdannelses-30 området 24 placeret svejseindretning 28, som induktivt ved hjælp af højfrekvensenergi opvarmer de i foliebåndet inkorporerede aluminiumfolier. Opvarmningen er da ved en dosering af højfrekvensenergien således afmålt, at de termoplastiske formstoflag af foliebåndet opvarmes til en passende svejse-35 temperatur. Under svejsningen samt derefter sammenpresses de hinanden overlappende rande af det dannede tuberør ved DK 168733 B1 4 hjælp af de omløbende, drevne bånd 16 og 18. Efter svejsningen afkøles den dannede svejsesøm ved hjælp af et omløbende, drevet, endeløst kølebånd 30, medens der opretholdes et tilpresningstryk mod det indre bånd 16. Den aktivt frem-5 kaldte afkøling tillader en forøgelse af arbejdshastigheden.
I en retning 32 forlader de langs langsiden sammensvejste, og ved den viste skæremekanisme afdelte rørlegemer apparatet, for derefter at blive kompletteret ved anbringelse af et tubehoved og en lukkehætte.
10 Af fig. 2 fremgår, hvorledes det indre bånd i rørdan nelsesområdet 24 føres langs med dornen 34 hen til omstyringsrullen 20, og derpå tilbage. Båndets øverste part 16' ligger an mod dornen 34, medens dets nedre part 16" tilbageføres i en i dornen 34 anbragt længdenot 36. Det frem-15 stillede tuberør 38 er vist med stiplede linier.
Fig. 3 viser et tværsnit igennem rørdannelsesområdet 24 i et afsnit, hvor foliebåndet ved hjælp af remmen 12 allerede er oprullet til et tuberør. Figuren viser tydeligt, hvorledes den øverste part 16' af det indre bånd 16 er ført 20 på dornen 34, medens båndets nedre part 16" tilbageføres i en not 36. Det ydre bånd 18 presses ved hjælp af den fjedrende anbragte svejseindretning 28 mod de hinanden overlappende rande af det dannede rør 38.
Fig. 4 viser en enkelthed af rørdannelsesområdet 24.
25 Det fremgår af figuren, at det indre bånd 16 har en længdenot 40, som tjener til formgivning af den indefter vendende side af tuberøret 38's rørsøm. Længdenoten 40 meddeler rør- . sømmen en defineret form og forhindrer, at de hinanden overlappende rande 42 og 44 under sammenpresningen udvides ukon-30 trolleret, idet den begrænser en udløben af det under svejsningen påsmeltede materiale. Materialet er et termoplastisk formstof, især polyethylen, polypropylen eller disses polymerer. Dette svejselige formstof danner de ydre lag af det til et rør 38 formede foliebånd. Foruden et mellem formstof-35 lagene inkorporeret aluminiumlag kan foliebåndet have yder- DK 168733 B1 5 ligere lag, eksempelvis et papirlag, samt vedhængslag for aluminiumfolien.
Ved en udførelsesform af apparatet til fremstilling af rørlegemer af et foliebånd, og uden inkorporeret metallag, 5 eller kun med et meget tyndt metallag, opvarmes de to som svejseværktøjer tjenende, omløbende, drevne bånd 16 og 81 til den nødvendige svejsetemperatur induktivt ved hjælp af højfrekvensenergi. Opvarmningen kan ske foran rørfremstillingsområdet 24, se fig. 2, eller for det ydre bånd 18's 10 vedkommende også ske inden for dette område ved hjælp af passende opvarmningsindretninger. I et sådant tilfælde tjener indretningen 26 ikke til forvarmning af det indre bånd 16, men til en fuldstændig opvarmning af dette bånd til den fornødne svejsetemperatur. Det ydre bånd kan ved denne ud-15 førelsesform opvarmes enten før rørdannelsesområdet 24, se fig. 2, eller inden for dette område, under anvendelse af indretningen 28.
De omløbende, drevne bånd 16 og 81 består fortrinsvis af stål, såfremt opvarmningen sker induktivt ved hjælp af 20 højfrekvensenergi. Tilvejebringes svejsevarmen imidlertid udelukkende ved hjælp af indretningen 28 umiddelbart i foliebåndets aluminiumlag, kan de som presseværktøjer tjenende bånd 16 og 18 eksempelvis også bestå af polytetrafluorethy-len. Indretningen 26 er i dette tilfælde ikke påkrævet.
25 De til induktiv forvarmning tjenende indretninger 26 og 28 udviser i det væsentlige en højfrekvensspole, hvis afgivne energi er koncentreret på det område, som skal opvarmes. Til aktivering af sådanne højfrekvensspoler tjener kendte højfrekvensgeneratorer.
30 Flerlagsfolier af den angivne art, der har et metal lag, fortrinsvis et aluminiumlag, er kendt. Apparatet er imidlertid også egnet til forarbejdning af et foliebånd, som kun består af et enkelt termoplastisk formstoflag.

Claims (12)

1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af rørlegemer, især til emballagetuber, af et foliebånd (10) , der har en 5 inderside og en yderside af svejseligt formstof samt parallelt med hinanden forløbende kanter, og som omkring en i båndets længderetning forløbende akse oprulles kontinuerligt til et rør (38) med langs kanterne hinanden overlappende rande (42), 44) , som sammensvejses ved påvirkning ved varme 10 og sammenpresses mellem to endeløse, i længderetningen omløbende, drevne bånd (16, 18), kendetegnet ved, at en de to randes (42, 44) kanter omfattende del af det dannede rørs (38) omkredsområde efter tilførsel af svejsevarme under sammenpresningen i det mindste delvis presses 15 ind i en længdenot (40) , som er dannet i det inden for det dannede rør (38) omløbende indre bånd (16) af de nævnte to bånd (16, 18) .
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, ved hvilken foliebåndet (10) har flere materialelag, af hvilke en af de in- 20 korporerede lag er et metallisk lag, kendetegnet ved, at det metalliske lag af de to hinanden overlappende rande (42, 44) opvarmes induktivt ved hjælp af højfrekvensenergi .
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, kendete g- 25 net ved, at det indre bånd opvarmes i forvejen.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 3, kendeteg net ved, at der som indre bånd (16) tjener et metalbånd, hvis forudgående opvarmning før båndets kontakt med rør (38), der skal fremstilles, foretages induktivt ved hjælp 30 af højfrekvensenergi.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendeteg net ved, at der som drevne bånd (16, 18) anvendes metalbånd, som induktivt ved hjælp af højfrekvensenergi opvarmes til den til svejsning nødvendige temperatur. 35 DK 168733 B1 7
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 5, kendetegnet ved, at de to bånd (16, 18) opvarmes før deres kontakt med det rør, som skal fremstilles.

8. Apparat til fremstilling af rørlegemer, især til emballagetuber, at et foliebånd (10), der har en inderside og en yderside og med hinanden parallelle kanter, hvilket 10 apparat har midler (12, 14) til kontinuerlig oprulning af foliebåndet (10) omkring en i båndets længderetning forløbende akse til dannelse af et rør (38) med langs kanterne hinanden overlappende rande (42, 44), midler (26, 28) til frembringelse af den svejsevarme, der tjener til sammen-15 svejsning af de hinanden overlappende rande (42, 44), samt to i længderetningen omløbende, drevne, til sammenpresning af de hinanden overlappende rande (42, 44) bestemte bånd (16, 18) , kendetegnet ved, at der inden for det rør (38), der skal dannes, omløbende indre bånd (16) har en 20 længdenot (40) til i det mindste delvis optagelse af de hinanden overlappende rande (42, 44) af det rør (38), der skal dannes.
9. Apparat ifølge krav 8, kendetegnet ved, at midlerne til fremkaldelse af svejsevarmen har en 25 højfrekvensenergi leverende indretning (28), som er rettet mod banen af de hinanden overlappende rande (42, 44) af det rør (38), som skal dannes.
10. Apparat ifølge krav 8 eller 9, kendetegnet ved, at i det mindste det indre bånd (16) består af 30 stål, og at der uden for rørdannelsesområdet findes midler (26) til induktiv forvarmning eller til udelukkende induktiv opvarmning af det indre bånd (16) ved hjælp af højfrekvensenergi, rettet mod det indre bånd (16).
11. Apparat ifølge krav 10, kendetegnet 35 ved, at også det ydre bånd (18) består af stål og har midler (28) til udelukkende induktiv opvarmning af det ydre bånd 8 DK 168733 B1 (18) ved hjælp af højfrekvensenergi og enten foran rørdannelsesområdet (24), eller i svejseområdet rettet mod det ydre bånd (18).
12. Apparat ifølge ethvert af kravene 8-11, k e n-S detegnet ved, at der efter det ydre bånd (18) set i det dannede rørs (38) bevægelsesretning er anbragt et røret (38) berørende kølebånd (30). 10 15 20 25 30 35
