Den foreliggende opfindelse angår N-substituerede nitromethylente-trahydrothiaziner, en fremgangsmåde til disses fremstilling samt deres anvendelse som pesticider, især mod insektskadedyr.
2-Nitromethylen-tetrahydro-2H-l,3-thiaziner og deres anvendelse som 5 pesticider er kendt fra britisk patentskrift nr. 1.513.951. Selv om disse thiaziner har et højt niveau af insecticid virkning lider de dog af den ulempe, at de er ustabile over for lys og følgelig kun udviser lille holdbarhed under betingelser i marken. Ansøgerne har nu opdaget, at dette lysstabilitetsproblem kan løses ved at anvende en 10 ny klasse af insecticidt virksomme thiaziner.
Opfindelsen angår N-substituerede 2-(nitromethylen)-tetrahydro-2H-1,3-thiaziner med den almene formel I

5 Opfindelsen omfatter både de individuelle isomerer og blandinger af sådanne isomerer.
Opfindelsen omfatter også en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af de li-substituerede 2-(nitromethylen)-tetrahydro-2H-l,3 thiaziner med den almene formel I, hvor n er 0, hvilken fremgangsmåde er ejendommelig 10 ved, at der foretages omsætning af forbindelsen med den almene formel II
tVh no2 15 med en sulf ony lhalogenid med den almene formel R-S02-Hal hvor R er som ovenfor defineret, og Hal betegner halogen, fortrinsvis chlor, i nærværelse af en base. Basen er fortrinsvis en organisk base såsom en tertiær amin, fx en trialkylamin, hvor triethylamin er 20 særlig foretrukken. Reaktionen udføres ved en temperatur på 0°C eller derunder, fx ved en temperatur fra -75°C til -10°C. Reaktionen udføres hensigtsmæssigt i et organisk opløsningsmiddel, fx et chloreret carbonhydrid såsom dichlormethan, en ether såsom tetrahydrofuran, eller dimethylformamid.

Forbindelserne med den almene formel I, hvor n er 1, kan fremstilles ved oxidering af det tilsvarende derivat, hvor n er 0. Dette kan ud-5 føres under anvendelse af konventionelle oxideringsmidler, fx persyrer såsom m-chlorperbenzoesyre eller kaliumpermanganat, eller kalium-hydrogenpersulfat. Derivatet, der skal oxideres, er hensigtsmæssigt opløst i et passende opløsningsmiddel, fx et chloreret carbonhydri-dopløsningsmiddel såsom chloroform eller dichlormethan, eller en 10 flydende alkohol såsom ethanol.

Opfindelsen omfatter følgelig pesticide præparater indeholdende en substitueret 2-(nitromethylen)-tetrahydro-2H-l,3-thiazin ifølge opfindelsen sammen med en bærer. Et sådant præparat kan indeholde en 20 enkelt forbindelse eller en blanding af flere forbindelser ifølge opfindelsen. Det forudses også, at forskellige isomerer eller blandinger af isomerer kan have forskellige virkningsniveauer eller -spektrer, og præparaterne kan således omfatte individuelle isomerer eller blandinger af isomerer. Opfindelsen tilvejebringer endvidere en 25 fremgangsmåde til bekæmpelse af skadedyr, især insektskadedyr på et sted, der er angrebet af eller udsat for angreb af sådanne skadedyr, hvilken fremgangsmåde er ejendommelig ved, at stedet påføres en pesticidt virksom mængde af forbindelsen eller præparatet ifølge den foreliggende opfindelse.

5 Egnede væskeformige bærere omfatter vand; alkoholer, fx isopropanol og glycoler; ketoner, fx acetone, methylethylketon, methylisobutylke-ton og cyclohexanon; ethere; aromatiske eller araliphatiske carbon-hydrider, fx benzen, toluen og xylen; jordoliefraktioner, fx petroleum og lette mineralolier; chlorerede carbohhydrider, fx carbon-10 tetrachlorid, perchlorethylen og trichlorethan. Blandinger af forskellige væsker er ofte egnede.
Det foretrækkes, at et præparat ifølge opfindelsen indeholder mindst to bærere, af hvilke mindst én er et overfladeaktivt middel. Det overfladeaktive middel kan være en emulgator, et dispergeringsmiddel 15 eller et befugtningsmiddel. Det kan være ikke-ionisk eller ionisk.

Præparatet ifølge opfindelsen kan fx formuleres som et befugteligt pulver, et pudder, granuler, en opløsning, et emulgerbart koncentrat, 25 en emulsion, et suspensionskoncentrat eller en aerosol. Præparatet kan have egenskaber med hensyn til kontrolleret afgivelse eller kan være hensigtsmæssigt til anvendelse som et lokkemiddel.
Befugtelige pulvere indeholder sædvanligvis 25, 50 eller 75% aktiv bestanddel og kan, ud over inert fast materiale, indeholde 3-10 vægt-30 procent af et dispergeringsmiddel og, hvis det er nødvendigt, 0-10 vægtprocent af en stabilisator, et penetreringsmiddel og/eller en klæber. Et pudder formuleres sædvanligvis som et pudderkoncentrat med en sammensætning, der minder om sammensætningen af et befugteligt pulver, men uden et dispergeringsmiddel, og det fortyndes i marken

Granuler har sædvanligvis en størrelse i området fra 1,676 til 0,152 mm (10-100 BS mesh) og kan fremstilles ved agglomererings- eller im-5 prægneringsteknikker. Granuler vil amindeligvis indeholde 0,5-75 vægtprocent aktiv bestanddel og 0-10 vægtprocent additiver såsom stabilisatorer, overfladeaktive midler, modifikatorer til langsom frigørelse og bindemidler.
Emulgerbare koncentrater indeholder, ud over et opløsningsmiddel og, 10 hvis det er nødvendigt, et co-opløsningsmiddel, sædvanligvis 10-50 vægt/volumenprocent aktiv bestanddele, 2-20 vægt/volumenprocent emulgator og 0-20 vægt/volumenprocent andre additiver, fx en stabilisator, et penetreringsmiddel og/eller en korrosionsinhibitor. Et suspensionskoncentrat er et stabilt, ikke-sedimenterende, flydbart 15 produkt, og indeholder sædvanligvis 10-75 vægtprocent aktiv bestanddel, 0,5-15 vægtprocent dispergeringsmidler, 0,1-10 vægtprocent suspenderingsmidler, fx beskyttende kolloid og/eller et thixotropisk middel, og 0-10 vægtprocent af andre additiver omfattende fx et anti-skummiddel·, en korrosionsinhibitor, en stabilisator, et penetrerings-20 middel og/eller en klæber og, som dispergent, vand eller en organisk væske, i hvilken den aktive bestanddel er i det væsentlige uopløselig; visse organiske additiver og/eller uorganiske salte kan være opløst i dispergenten for at hjælpe med at forhindre sedimentation eller som anti-frostmiddel for vand.
25 De vandige dispersioner og emulsioner, der dannes ved fortynding af et befugteligt pulver eller et emulgerbart koncentrat ifølge den foreliggende opfindelsen med vand, ligger også inden for omfanget af den foreliggende opfindelse. Sådanne dispersioner og emulsioner kan være af vand-i-olie- eller olie-i-vand-typen og kan have en tyk 30 "mayonnaise"-lignende konsistens.
Et præparat ifølge opfindelsen kan også indeholde andre bestanddele, fx én eller flere forbindelser, der har pesticide egenskaber. Yderligere insecticide forbindelser kan inkluderes, især sådanne forbindelser, der har en anden virkningsmåde eller et andet virkningsspektrum.

Det har også vist sig, at den termiske stabilitet af forbindelserne og præparaterne ifølge opfindelsen kan forbedres ved tilsætning af stabiliserende mængder, sædvanligvis 10-100 vægtprocent beregnet ud fra forbindelsen af visse organonitrogenforbindelser såsom urea, 5 dialkylureaforbindelser, thiourea eller guanidinsalte eller alkalimetalsalte af svage syrer såsom bicarbonater, acetater eller benzoater.
Opfindelsen illustreres ved de følgende eksempler.
EKSEMPEL 1
3-Methylsulfonyl-2-nitromethylen-tetrahydro-2H-1,3-thiaz in 10 Procedure A
Methansulfonylchlorid (20 g) i methylenchlorid (150 ml) blev i løbet af 55 minutter dråbevis sat til en blanding af 2-nitromethylen-tetra-hydro-2H-1,3-thiazin (20 g) og triethylamin (40 ml) i methylenchlorid (150 ml) omrørt ved -30°C under nitrogen. Reaktionsblandingen blev 15 omrørt i yderligere 30 minutter ved -30°C og derefter vasket med 2% HC1. Den vandige fase blev vasket to gange med methylenchlorid, de forenede organiske fraktioner blev tørret over natriumsulfat, koncentreret til ca. 50 ml og afkølet til 0eC. Det krystallinske produkt blev filtreret fra, og krystallerne blev tritureret flere gange med 20 kold methylenchlorid.
Chromatografi af moderluden (Si02 (600 g)/CH2Cl2:CH30H 99:1) gav en yderligere portion produkt (0,77 g).
Smeltepunkt 144-145°C (sønderdeling).
NMR-Spektrum (60 MHz dg-dimethylsulfoxid) (ekstern reference): 25 6 (ppm) - 3,4 (3H, S, CH3), 7,8 (IH, S, CM02) .

Procedure B
2-Nitromethylen-tetrahydro-2H-l,3-thiazin (3 mol, 480 g) blev opløst i dichlormethan (3 liter). Opløsningen blev afkølet til -70°C og der blev tilsat triethylamin (6 mol, 606 g) ved -70°C. Denne opløsning 5 blev omrørt ved -65eC til -70eC under en ^-atmosfære medens en opløsning af methylsulfonylchlorid (6 mol, 687 g) opløst i dichlormethan blev tilsat dråbevis i løbet af 6 timer. En blanding af det ønskede produkt fældede ud under dannelse af en tyk opslæmning, og denne blev filtreret fra ved -70°C og tørret ved omgivelsestempera-10 turen. Den dannede kage blev vasket med vand for at fjerne triethyla-minhydrochloridet, og produktet (446 g) blev tilbage som et krystallinsk fast stof.

Til en opløsning af forbindelsen fra eksempel 1 (1,56 g) i methylen-15 chlorid (70 ml) ved -15°C under nitrogen blev der sat m-chlorperben-zoesyre (1,56 g) i methylenchlorid (50 ml) i løbet af 5 minutter.
Blandingen blev derefter omrørt ved stuetemperatur i 1 time. Der blev tilsat fast natriumcarbonat (5 g) og blandingen blev omrørt i 5 minutter og derefter filtreret gennem natriumcarbonat. Opløsningen 20 blev fjernet under reduceret tryk. Produktet blev omkrystalliseret af methylenchlorid, hvilket gav sulfoxidet (1,44 g).

3-(3-Chlorpropyl)sulfonyl-2-nitromethylen-tetrahydro-2H-1,3 -thiaz in- 1- oxid blev fremstillet som en olie på en måde i lighed med eksempel 12.
5 EKSEMPEL 30 3-(2,6-Dichlorphenylmethylsulfonyl)-2-(nitrome thylen)-tetrahydro-2H-1,3-thiazin 2- (Nitromethylen)-tetrahydro-2H-l,3-thiazin (3,2 g) og N,N-diisopro-pylethylamin (5,2 g) blev opløst i dimethylformamid. Opløsningen blev 10 afkølet til -40°C til -50°C, og 2,6-dichlorbenzylsulfonylchlorid (7,8 g) blev sat til i løbet af 1 time i små portioner på ca. 0,1 g hver. Blandingen fik lov at varme op til omgivelsestemperaturen» blev omrørt i yderligere 1 time og derefter hældt ud i 500 ml is/vand-blanding, til hvilken nogle få dråber fortyndet HCl var blevet sat.
15 Det dannede faste stof blev filtreret fra, vasket med vand og taget op i dichlormethan. Opløsningen blev tørret over MgSO^, og opløsningsmidlet blev derefter fjernet under reduceret tryk. Remanensen blev omkrystalliseret af ethylacetat, hvilket gav det ønskede produkt som et gult krystallinsk fast stof, smeltepunkt 170°C.

Remanensen blev omkrystalliseret af dichlormethan, 25 hvilket gav det ønskede produkt som et gult krystallinsk fast stof, smeltepunkt 106-109°C.

Forbindelsen fra eksempel 34 (4,0 g) og triethylamin (1,3 g) i ethyl-5 acetat blev opvarmet til tilbagesvaling i 53 timer. Reaktionsblandingen blev afkølet, og det dannede bundfald blev filtreret fra og omkrystalliseret af ethanol, hvilket gav det ønskede produkt som et gult krystallinsk fast stof, smeltepunkt 150-157°C.

Den insecticide virkning af forbindelserne blev påvist mod skadedyret Spodoptera littoralis (Ægyptisk bomuldsbladorm). Den anvendte test-30 metode fremgår af det følgende.
Opløsninger eller suspensioner af forbindelsen blev fremstillet i en række koncentrationer i 10% acetone/vand indeholdende 0,025% Triton®

16 X-100. Disse opløsninger blev under anvendelse af en logaritmisk sprøjtemaskine sprøjtet på Petriskåle indeholdende en nærende diæt på hvilken Spodoptera littoralis-larverne var blevet opdrættet. Efter at det påsprøjtede lag havde tørret, blev hver skål påført 10 larver i 5 andet stadium. Dødelighedsbedømmelse blev foretaget 7 dage efter sprøjtning. I hver test blev en LC5Q-værdi for forbindelsen beregnet ud fra dødelighedstallene og sammenlignet med den tilsvarende LC^q-værdi for ethylparathion i de samme tests. Resultaterne er udtrykt som toxicitetsindexer, idet 10 ^50 (Parathi°n)

Pesticid virkning - tests på blade
Denne serie tests illustrerer den insecticide virkning af forbindelserne ifølge opfindelsen ved at lade sprøjtede blade af kinakål blive 5 angrebet af larven af Spodoptera littoralis og beregne toxicitets-indexet på samme måde som i det foregående eksempel. Den anvendte testmetode var som følger:
Forbindelserne blev præpareret til sprøjtning som opløsninger eller suspensioner af teknisk materiale i 10% vandig acetoneopløsning inde-10 holdende 0,025% Triton® X-100 som befugtningsmiddel. En række opløsninger af hver testforbindelse blev sprøjtet på en serie Petriskåle, der hver indeholdt en skive med en diameter på 9 cm skåret ud af et blad af kinakål. Bladmaterialet blev placeret med den underste overflade opad for at modtage besprøjtningen. Efter at besprøjtningen 15 havde fået lov at tørre blev der i hver skål anbragt 10 bladfodrede Spodoptera-larver i det tidlige fjerde stadium, og skålene blev holdt under laboratoriebetingelser, indtil dødelighederne blev bedømt 24 timer senere. Virkningen i form af toxicitetsindexet af de afprøvede forbindelser er vist i tabel V herunder.

En prøve af hver forbindelse (10 mg) blev opløst i ren acetone (10 20 cm^), og en portion (1 cnr*) blev overført til et kvartsglas (længde 10 cm, indvendig diameter 1 cm). En tynd film blev dannet i glasset ved at blæse opløsningsmidlet af med en strøm af luft under stadig rystning af glasset. Glasset blev tilproppet og udsat for lys i et solsimulator skab sammen med glas dækket med aluminiumsfolie, der blev 25 anvendt som kontrolprøver. Efter udsættelse for lys i 5, 20 eller 50 timer blev indholdet af glasset opløst i ren acetonitril og analyseret ved omvendt-fase HPLC. Solsimulatoren havde en spektral fordeling i lighed med dagslys og en intensitet på ca. 0,5 til 0,3 gange klart sommerdagslys i det sydlige England.

Det fremgår af resultaterne i tabel VI, at forbindelserne ifølge opfindelsen har en lysstabilitet, der langt overstiger forbindelserne ifølge den tidligere kendte teknik eksemplificeret ved eksempel 1 fra britisk patentskrift nr. 1.513.951.

N-substituerede 2-(nitromethylen)- tetrahydro-2H-l,3-thiaziner ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at R er alkyl med 1-20 carbonatomer, alkenyl med 2-4 carbonatomer, halogenalkyl med 1-4 carbonatomer og 1-3 25 fluor-, chlor-, brom- eller iodsubstituenter, alkoxyalkyl med i alt 2-4 carbonatomer, alkoxycarbonylalkyl eller alkanoyloxyalkyl med i alt 3-5 carbonatomer, camphoryl, phthalimidoalkyl, hvor alkylgruppen har 1-4 carbonatomer, phenylalkyl, hvor alkylgruppen har 1-4 carbonatomer, halogenbenzyl med 1, 2 eller 3 chlor-, fluor- eller bromato-30 mer, trifluormethylbenzyl, methylbenzyl, alkoxycarbonylbenzyl, hvor DK 162049 B alkoxycarbonylgruppen har 2-5 carbonatomer, halogenphenoxyalkyl, hvor halogen er chlor, fluor eller brom, og alkylgruppen har 1-4 carbona-tomer, trimethylsilylalkyl, hvor alkylgruppen har 1-4 carbonatomer eller en alkyl-trialkylammoniumhalogenidgruppe, hvor hver alkyl har 5 1-3 carbonatomer; og n er 0 eller 1.
3. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af N-substituerede 2-(nitromethy-len)-tetrahydro-2H- 1,3-thiaziner ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at der, ved fremstilling af forbindelser med den almene formel I, som defineret i krav 1, hvor n er 0, fore-10 tages omsætning af en forbindelse med den almene formel II tt, NO, med en sulfonylhalogenid med den almene formel III
15 R-S02-Hal III hvor R er som defineret i krav 1, og Hal er halogen, i nærværelse af en base, og der eventuelt foretages oxidering af det resulterende produkt til fremstilling af forbindelsen, hvori n er 1.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 3, 20 kendetegnet ved, at reaktionen udføres ved en temperatur på eller under 0°C.
5. Pesticidt præparat omfattende en N-substitueret 2-(nitromethylen)-tetrahydro-2H-l,3-thiazin ifølge krav 1 eller 2 sammen med en bærer.
6. Præparat ifølge krav 5, 25 kendetegnet ved, at der også er en termisk stabilisator til stede. DK 162049 B
7. Fremgangsmåde til bekæmpelse af skadedyr på et sted, der er angrebet eller er udsat for angreb af sådanne skadedyr, kendetegnet ved, at der på stedet påføres en pesticidt virksom mængde af en N-substitueret 2-(nitromethylen)-tetrahydro-2H-5 1,3-thiazin ifølge krav 1 eller 2 eller et præparat ifølge krav 5 eller 6.
