Mixing and crushing device for a kitchen appliance The invention
relates to a mixing and shredding device for a kitchen appliance with several,
at the bottom of a vertical cup-like housing on a rotatably mounted
Shaft of knives arranged one above the other. In a known embodiment of this
Art there is a knife star consisting of three knives one on top of the other,
in which the blades of the top knife are bent obliquely upwards in the manner
are that the straight blades are at an angle of about 6o ° to the horizontal plane
run outwards towards the edge of the vessel. Household machines are also known
with a stirring and crushing tool in the form of a knife star, its
uppermost knife has upwardly curved blades, also from, the center of the axis
run straight outwards, while the blades of the lying under this knife
Knife are directed obliquely outwards and downwards. In addition, one is already fast
revolving knife has been proposed in which is attached to a horizontal blade part
Connect upwards and inwards bent blades, their free ends with the
the center line extended upwards beyond the axis completely or nearly coincides,
the tips of the blades are lower than the apex of the blade bulge.
object
the invention is compared to the known a mixing and comminuting device
for a food processor of the type mentioned, in which the
Shaft on both sides extending halves of the top knife one of several
Overlying knives of the existing knife star roughly across the width of the blade
are bent upwards in a circular arc that their tips are at the highest
Roughly touch the point of the knife set in the middle of the elongated shaft.
Due to the circular upward curved knife, the material to be cut is proportionate
already recorded high up and processed the goods that are pushed in better. Also will
prevented by this arrangement. That, as is the case with known comminuting devices
it happens that part of the material to be cut gets caught in the tip of the knife
can, whereas with knives pointing sideways and upwards with the point that
Can be skewered well and then circulates in the container without a cutting process
takes place. At the same time, the arrangement according to the invention affects the contents of the cup
exerted a powerful suction effect, through which the cup contents at great speed
and good circulation drawn into the knife cross and thus in a few
Seconds is mixed and crushed.
zu Fig. i.Further features of a mixing and comminuting device according to the
Invention are described in more detail below with reference to the drawing, and
although Fig. i shows a partial section through the mixing device with a view of the knife cross,
FIG. 2 shows a view of the knife cross rotated by go ° and FIG. 3 shows a plan view
to Fig. i.

With i the mixing cup is designated, with 2 its bottom. On a

On the shaft, knives 3, 4 and 5 sit on top of each other. The two halves of the upper knife
3 are sharpened like a saber and roughly arcuate across the width of the blade
bent upwards to approximately the central axis, so that both knife halves
touch approximately in the middle of the elongated shaft. The two halves of the knife
are employed in a manner known per se to the orbit that they always grip,
for example at an angle of about 5 °. The bevel 6, the so-called nut
Knife chest, is directed inwards on one side.
The knife halves of the two lower knives and 5 are also saber-like
sanded, and, viewed from above, are each 6o ° opposite the upper one
Knife and offset against each other. The knife halves are perpendicular to the shaft axis
also these two knives angled so far that each one for itself in a certain
Altitude runs and sweeps its own room. The knife halves of the middle one
Knife q. are, as with the upper knife, set at about 5 ° to the orbit.
The knife halves of the lower knife 5, however, in the opposite direction
about the same angle. This creates a wolf-like promotion of the in the ground area
