Claims (5)

1. Wirbelplatte zur Stabilisierung der gegenseitigen Stellung von Wirbeln, die mit Hilfe in die Wirbel eingeschraubter Repositionsstifte (11) ausgerichtet sind, mit einer in Längsrichtung der Wirbelsäule verlaufenden Plattenachse (2) und zwei die Wirbelplatte (1) quer dazu begrenzenden Querrändern (3), zwischen denen die Wirbelplatte eine solche Länge besitzt, daß sie mindestens ein Segment der Wirbelsäule übergreift, d. h. sich über mindestens zwei benachbarte Wirbel erstreckt, und mit Löchern (8, 8') für die Aufnahme von Spongiosaschrauben zur Verbindung der Wirbelplatte (1) mit den Wirbeln, wobei zwei dieser Löcher (8) im Bereich mindestens eines der beiden Querränder (3) der Wirbelplatte (1) angeordnet sind und sich quer zur Plattenachse (2) gegenüber liegen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in der Wirbelplatte (1) zwischen den im Bereich des Querrandes (3) liegenden beiden Löchern (8) ein sich längs der Plattenachse (2) erstreckendes, am Querrand (3) offen ausmündendes Schlitzloch (10) ausgebildet ist, das über seine ganze Länge eine zur Aufnahme eines Repositionsstiftes (11) ausreichende Schlitzbreite besitzt und soweit in die Wirbelplatte (1) hineinreicht, daß die Plattenlänge (Doppelpfeil 12) in der Plattenachse (2) höchstens gleich dem freien Abstand von zwei in die Wirbel eingeschraubten Repositionsstiften (11) ist.
2. Wirbelplatte nach Ansprüch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die sich quer zur Plattenachse (2) gegenüber liegenden beiden Löchern (8) für die Spongiosaschrauben und das zwischen ihnen ausgebildete Schlitzloch (10) im Bereich beider Querränder (3) der Wirbelplatte (1) vorgesehen sind.

Wirbelplatte nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in einer zwei Segmente der Wirbelsäule, d. h. drei benachbarte Wirbel übergreifenden Wirbelplatte (1) ein im mittleren Plattenbereich in der Plattenachse (2) verlaufendes und an beiden Enden geschlossenes Langloch (14) von gleicher Breite wie die Schlitzlochbreite ausgebildet ist.
4. Wirbelplatte nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich am Langloch (14) quer zur Plattenachse (2) zwei weitere Löcher (8') für Spongiosaschrauben gegenüber liegen.

Wirbelplatte nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die sich paarweise quer zur Plattenachse (2) gegenüber liegenden Löcher (8, 8') für die Spongiosaschrauben in quer zur Plattenachse auswärts vorstehenden Plattenbereichen (15) angeordnet sind, zwischen welchen die Wirbelplatte (1) einen Längsrand (16) mit zur Plattenachse (2) hin einwärts gebogenem Verlauf aufweist.
