"Fernsehbedienhandgerät zum Steuern verschiedener Moduln".
A. Hintergrund der Neuerung AM) Bereich der Neuerung
Die Neuerung betrifft ein Fernsehbediengerät zur Steuerung mehrerer Funktionen eines oder mehrerer Moduln, die dazu über ein Obertragungsmittel (drahtlos oder drahtgebunden) mit diesem Handgerät verbunden sind. Die genannten Moduln können von einem Fernsehgerät, einem Videorecorder, einem Videotextdecoder, einem Audioverstärker, einem Audiotuner, einem Compact-Disc-Spieler usw. gebildet werden, aber auch von einer Tür, einem Beleuchtungssystem usw.
A(2). Beschreibung des Standes der Technik
Bekanntlich enthält ein derartiges Handgerät einige Bedientasten, die die bedienbaren Teile von Schaltern bilden, die im allgemeinen nach einer Matrixstruktur geordnet und mit einer Steuerschaltung verbunden sind. Diese Steuerschaltung stellt fest, ob eine Bedientaste betätigt ist, und wenn so, welche. Sie erzeugt dabei eine für die betreffenden Bedientaste charakteristische Impulsgruppe, die einer Senderschaltung zugeführt wird. Dort wird diese Impulsgruppe einem geeignet gewählten Trägersignal aufmoduliert (vorzugsweise einem Infrarotsignal) und anschliessend vorzugsweise Über einen drahtlosen Übertragungskanal auf den oder auf einen der Moduln Übertragen.
Zum Unterscheiden zwischen dem einen und dem anderen Modul könnte das Handgerät für jeden Modul mit einem getrennten Satz Bedientasten ausgerüstet werden. Ausser der Tatsache, dass dadurch das Handgerät unzulässig gross werden würde, wird es durch die grosse Tastenzahl auch besonders teuer. Um diesen Nachteilen zu begegnen ist in der Europatentanmeldung 0 012 34Γ/ ein Hangerät beschrieben, das nur eine beschrankte Tastenzahl enthält, aber mit dem dennoch alle Funktionen einer Anzahl von Moduln betätigt werden

können. Zu diesem Zweck kann dieses Handgerät in eine Anzahl von
Betriebszüständen gebfacht Werden, wie z.B. in einen Wählzustand und
in einige Modulzustände. Im Wählzustand ist jeder oder einer Anzahl f
von Tasten ein Modul zugeordnet. Das bedeutet, dass, wenn jetzt eine |
bestimmte Taste betätigt wird, das Handgerät in einen Modulzustand Is
eintritt und der Benutzer Zugriff zu diesem der betätigten Taste ·

informatiever Text gesteuert werden. Diese letztgenannte Anzeige wird
deswegen Informationsanzeige genannt.
Zwar hat dieses bekannte Handgerät eine besonders I
I übersichtliches Bedienfeld, aber die Tastenanzeigeelemente müssen so |
gross sein, dass darauf die aktuelle Bedienfunktion deutlich genug jj
wiedergegeben werden kann, während weiter die zusätzliche |
Informationsanzeige sowie alle Anzeigetreiberschaltungen vielen Raum §i
erfordern, wodurch sich dieses Handgerät in der Praxis unzulässig |
vergrössern würde. Um dennoch die Abmessungen dieses Handgeräts I
E klein genug gestalten zu können, ist die Anzahl der Bedientasten stark | beschränkt. Die Folge davon ist wieder, dass verschiedene Funktionen
erst betätig werden können nach dem eine Anzahl anderer Tasten
betätigt wurde. So muss beispielsweise das Handgerät, wenn es in
einem Modulzustand steht, zunächst in den Wählzustand gebracht
werden, bevor der Benutzer Zugriff zu einem anderen Modul erhalten
kann.

Zielsetzung und Kurzfassung der Neuerung.
Der Neuerung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Handgerät mit sehr beschränkten Abmessungen und einem besonders übersichtlichen Bedienfeld anzugeben, bei dem jeder Modul durch nur einmaliges Betätigen einer Taste zugänglich wird.
Diese Aufgabe wird neuerungsgemäss dadurch gelöst, dass dieses Handgerät mit einigen Modultasten versehen ist, denen je ein Modul zugeordnet ist, und mit denen sich der Benutzer äusschiiessiich den Zugang zum betreffenden Modul erhalten kann. Ein einziges Anzeigeelement vom Mosaikrastertyp, um das herum die Mehrfunktionsbedientasten geordnet sind.
C. Kurzbeschreibung der Zeichnung.
Es zeigen
Figur 1 den allgemeinen Aufbau des Fernbedienhandgeräts,
Figur 2 die schematische Verteilung der Anzeige auf Anzeigefelder und
Figur 3 bis 5 einige mögliche Anzeigen, Figur 6 eine mögliche Ausführungsform der Rückseite des Handgeräts und
Figur 7 bis 12 einige mögliche Anzeigen,
D. Beschreibung der bevorzugten Ausführunqsform. In Figur 1 ist die Draufsicht auf ein Fernbedienhandgerät dargestellten. Diese Oberseite ist in drei Gebiete verteilt, die mit 10, 20 bzw. 30 bezeichnet sind. Das Gebiet 10 ist das Modulgebiet und enthält in diesem Fall fünf Modultasten 101, 102, 103, 104 und 105. Auf jeder Modultaste ist mit einem Symbol angegeben, zu welchem Modul Zugriff erhalten wird, wenn die betreffende Taste betätigt wird. Im dargestellten Fall sind es der Fernsehempfänger, der Videotextäecoder, der Videorecorder, ein nicht näher angegebener Modul a bzw. ein nicht näher angegebener Modul b.
Das Gebiet 20 enthält allgemein bekannte und überliche Bedientasten, wie die zehn Zifferntasten mit den Ziffern 0 bis S, eine Kontrasttaste 200, eine Helligkeitstaste 201, eine Höhenregeltaste 202, eine Tiefenregeltaste 203, eine Balancetaste 204,

eine L^utstärketaste 205, eine Taste 206 zum Einschalten eines Moduls in den Stand-by-Zustand und eine Taste 207 zum Wählen aus einer oder der anderen Sprache eines zweisprachigen Fernsehprogramms.
Das Gebiet 30 enthält eine Mosaikrasteranzeige 300 und einige darum herum geordnete Mehrfunktionstasten 301 bis 306 und 308 bis 312. Diesen Tasten können Funktionen zugeordnet werden, die für eine bestimmten Modul spezifisch sind. Die einer bestimmte Mehrfunktionstaste zugeordnete Bedienfunktion wird in jenem Teil der Anzeige 300 wiedergegeben, der an die betreffende Taste grenzt. Die Anzeige kann dazu imaginär in zwölf Anzeigefelder eingeteilt werden, wie in Figur 2 schematisch dargestellt, die mit 301' bis 312' angegeben sind. Das Anzeigefeld 301' ist dabei der Mehrfunktionstaste 301 zugeordnet. Das bedeutet, dass die Bedienfunktion, die im Anzeigefeld 301' angegeben ist, ausgeführt wird, wenn diese Taste 301 betätigt wird. Gleiches gilt für das Anzeigefeld 302' und Taste 302 usw. In einem in der Praxis durchgeführten Ausführungsbeispiel wird am Anzeigefeld 307' das Symbol des aktuell bedienbaren Moduls angegeben.
Wie bereits bemerkt, sind die an der Anzeige wiedergegebenen Bedienfunktionen für den zu betätigenden Modul charakteristisch und ist deswegen von der betätigten Modultaste abhängig. Wenn insbesondere die Fernsehtaste 301 betätigt wird, zeigt die Anzeige beispielsweise die in Figur 3 angegebenen Symbole. Mit der Taste 302 kann jetzt angegeben werden, ob eine Kanalnummer (C) oder eine Programmnummber (P) kenntlich gemacht werden wird. Mit der Taste 301 kann angegeben werden, ob die Kanal- bzw. die Programmnummber aus einer oder aus zwei Ziffern besteht. Im übrigen wird der iFernseheiapfanger mittels der Tasten im Gebiet 20 betätigt.
Wird nach der Wahl eines bestimmten Kanals oder Programms die Videotexttaste 102 betätigt, erscheinen beispielsweise die in Figur 4 angegebenen Symbole auf der Anzeige 300 und geben damit die Bedienfunktionen an, die dabei den Mehrfunktionstasten 301 bis 306 und 308 bis 312 zugeordnet sind.
Wird schliesslich die Videorecordertaste 103 betätigt, erscheinen beispielsweise die in Figur 5 angegebenen Symbole auf der Anzeige 300.
Die Modultasten 104 und 10"> sind programmierbar. Das bedeutet, dass jeder beliebig ein Modul zugeordnet werden kann.

Beispielsweise einer der folgenden Moduln: ein Audiosystem, ein Videorecordersystem, ein Bildschirmtextäecoder, ein Satellitendecotier, ein Audiotuner usw. Zum Programmieren dieser zwei Modultasten sind, wie in Figur 6 angegeben, beispielsweise an der Rückseite des Handgeräts unter einem Deckel 40 eine Programmiertaste 400 und eine Speichertaste 401 angebracht. Wird jetzt zunächst die Programmiertaste 400 betätigt, tritt das Handgerät in den Programmierzustand und erscheint auf der oberen Hälfte der Anzeige beispielsweise der Text "wählen Sie" Und äüf uei üiitexen Half te die Symbole del nüuUlii, äüS de.jen gewählt werden kann (siehe Figur 7). Durch Betätigung einer der Tasten 308, 309 ... 312 erscheint auf der Anzeige ein Text, beispielsweise "betätige Taste a oder b". Wenn dieser Befehl durchgeführt ist, erscheint erneut ein Text beispielsweise "betätige Speichertaste". Wird anschliessend dieser Befehl erfüllt, erscheint auf der Anzeige eine der Symbolreihen, wie sie in Figur 8 bis 12 angegeben sind, und läuft der Programmierzustand ab. Insbesondere zeigen Figur 8 bis 12 die Bedienfunktionen eines Audiosystems, eines Bildplattensystems, eine Bildschirmtextdecoders, eines Satellitendecoders bzw. eines Audiotuners.
Es sei bemerkt, dass die Anzahl fester Modultasten grosser als diese angegebenen drei sein kann. Auch die Anzahl wählbarer Moduln zum Programmieren der Tasten a und b kann grosser gewählt werden. So könnte diese Anzahl beispielsweise mit einem Compact-Disc-Spieler, mit einer Fernsehkamera, mit einem Beleuchtungssystem für den Wohnraum usw. erweitert werden.
Der Vorteil der einzelnen Modultasten besteht darin, dass es ununterbrochen möglich ist, mit nur einem Tastendruck Zugriff zum gewünschten Modul zu erhalten.

Claims (1)

  1. Fernbedienhandgerät zum Erzeugen von Steuersignalen zur
    Ij Steuerung verschiedener Funktionen einer Anzahl von Moduln, die zu
    diesem Zweck über einen Übertragungskanal mit diesem Handgerät verbunden sind, und wobei dieses Handgerät mit einigen 5 Mehrfunktionstasten, denen selektiv eine aus einer Anzahl von Bedienfunktionen zugeordnet werden können und von denen die aktuell dadurch bedienbare Bedienfunktion vom zu bedienenden Modul abhängig ist, mit Anzeigemitteln, mit einer Steuerschaltung zum Auswählen einer der zuzuordnenden Bedienfuktionen in Abhängigkeit vom zu bedienenden Modul, zum Zuordnen dieser Funktion zur Mehrfunktionstaste und zum Wiedergeben d.:.eser iktuellen Bedienfunktion an den Anzeigemitteln versehen ist, dadurr*·· gekennzeichnet, dass das Handgerät weiter mit einer Anzahl von Modultasten versehen ist, denen je ein Modul zugeordnet ist und mit denen sich der Benutzer ausschliesslich Zugriff zum betreffenden Modul erhalten kann, dass die Anzeigemittel von einem einzigen Anzeigeelement vom Mosaikrastertype gebildet werden, um das herum die Mehrfunktionstasten geordnet sind.
