Description

  • Verfahren zur Herstellung von künstlichen Bausteinen nach Art der Kalksandsteine In der Patentschrift Sog 23,5 ist ein `'erfahren zur Verstellung von künstlichen Bausteinen nach Art der Kalksandsteine beschrieben, bei dein Mischungen aus Rheinsand, Calciumcarl>onat und Natronlauge bei Temperaturen über ioo°, zweckmäßig bei Temperaturen von 125 bis i35°, mit überhitztem Wasserdampf behandelt werden.
  • An Stelle von Quarzsand können auch Ziegelsand oder sonstiges silicathaltiges Material, wie gebrannter Ton, zur Verwendung kommen.
  • In weiteren Versuchen hat sich gezeigt, daß es zweckmäßig ist, an Stelle der Mischungen aus Sand, Calciumcarlaonat und Natronlauge Mischungen aus Sand, Löschkalk bzw. Kalkmilch und Soda zu verwenden. -Man kann solche Mischungen auch dadurch herstellen, daß man zuerst in eine Sodalösung Lramit- oder Löschkalk einträgt, wobei die übliche Kaustifizierung eintritt, nämlich die Bildung von Natronlauge und feinverteiltem Calciumcarbonat. Es bieten sich bei Verwendung dieses Verfahrens verschiedene Vorteile, da z. B. Soda billiger ist als Natronlauge, auf gleiche Äquivalente berechnet. Außerdem hat man das gefällte Calciumcarbonat in feiner Verteilung.

Claims (2)

  1. PATENTANSPRÜCHE: i. Verfahren zur Herstellung von künstlichen Bausteinen nach Art der Kalksandsteine, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Mischungen aus Sand, Soda und Kalk bei Temperaturen über ioo°, zweckmäßig bei Temperaturen von 125 bis i35°, mit überhitztem Wasserdampf behandelt werden.
  2. 2. Verfahren nach Anspruch i, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die 'Mischung von Soda und Kalk zunächst hergestellt wird und dann als solche mit Sand vermischt wird.
