Kondensatoren, sehr-große Abm ssungen an.
ausbildet.Non-return valve for cooling water lines for surface condensers
The condenser and cooling water pump are generally associated with one another so that the
Condenser is higher than the pump. With chimney cooler operation is: a gradient
available from 6 to 8 m. If for some reason the cooling water pump stopped
tears off, the cooling water in the condenser and in the pipeline would
flow back due to the existing gradient and thereby the pump and the one with it
Drive the coupled prime mover in the opposite sense. To the here
to avoid impending hazards to the pump set and the drive machines,
it is common practice to install a non-return valve @ between the condenser and the cooling water pump,
the moment the pump stops supplying cooling water and the cooling water
wants to flow in the other direction, closes and the connection between the capacitor
and the pump shuts off so that no water from the condenser or the pipeline
can flow back into the pump. Use the non-return valves, especially for larger ones
Capacitors, very large dimensions. To give an example in terms of magnitude
give, it should be noted that the diameter of the check valves of i m and
about it are not uncommon. From this you can measure how large the space requirement is
of such safety devices. _ The invention is based on the consideration
from that with the already very heavy use of the space of its power plant
through the numerous auxiliary facilities a way would have to be found to meet the space requirements
to protect the pump against backflow of the cooling water. the
The solution to this problem was found in that the non-return valve
right away
is installed in the water chamber of the condenser. Such an installation is then
especially easy if you turn the cooling water connector on its to the inside of the
Water chamber respected end at the same time to accommodate the valve seat of the non-return valve
trains.
der Erfindung ab.It should be noted in this context that built into the capacitor
Flaps are known per se, with manual operation for high flow capacitors
to shut off a river for cleaning purposes. Task and execution
However, in this case the flaps deviate completely from the technical principles
of the invention.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the figure.
The one with r be. drew: The jacket of the capacitor forms the jacket at the same time
the water chamber 2. In this case it is a large condenser,
where it was necessary for structural reasons, the cooling water line in, two
Split individual lines 3. The check valves q. are now according to the invention
built directly into the water chamber 2, in such a way that the valve seats
5 of the inner 1Vlündun.-s of the inlet port 6 are received. The structure
the check valve itself is the usual one. The plate q. is in a 'familiar way
by ribs; out and is counter-loaded by weights 8 blessings the water pressure.
At the moment when the water pressure on the inflow side ceases to exist
by the pressure then prevailing in the water chamber, the plate 4. on the seat
5 is pressed and thus the water chamber is closed off from line 3. The example of execution
clearly shows that by laying the in the water chamber of the condenser
considerable space is saved; because otherwise it falls outside the capacitor
space required to accommodate the non-return valves.
