Bohrloehpumpe.

Borehole pump.
The invention relates to borehole pumps such as those used for supplying water to fields,
Gardens, settlements, etc. serve. With these pumps, which are arranged above the day, the suction height is very limited. The purpose of the invention is to enable the water to be pumped from greater drilling depths without the need to sink the pump into the borehole. For this purpose, the invention provides at least one check valve in the course of the suction line itself, the valve body of which advantageously consists of pockwood (Lignum sanetum). The known non-return valves (foot valves) arranged at the lower end of the suction line cannot achieve the purpose aimed at according to the invention, "increasing the delivery head".
An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing.
The valve housing, which consists of two parts 1 and 2 screwed together, is connected to the top and bottom by the suction line. A seat 3 made of a metal plate and having a horizontal seat surface is provided in the valve housing. The movable valve body 4 is made of a type of wood that is heavier than water, for example pockwood. The valve body 4 seals with its horizontal lower surface, which rests tightly on the seat 3. In the valve body 4 there are advantageously six channels J which are raised vertically on the circumference and which open into four horizontal channels 6 which run perpendicular to one another and are arranged on the upper side of the valve body.
Such non-return valves are now one or more built into the suction line itself, depending on the suction height, and their purpose is to prevent the water column from tearing off, if with the
Pumping is stopped. The horizontal sealing surface on the underside of the valve body is very useful for the rough operation to which these pumps are often subjected in agriculture.
It has been found that impurities contained in water, such as earth, sand, den
Do not impair the operation of the pumps or the effectiveness of the check valves. In addition, there is very little wear and tear on the valve bodies due to the particularly resin-rich old wood. The use of this type of wood also makes it possible to cope with higher delivery heights in manual operation, the pump being set up above the day, since significantly less forces are required to lift the relatively light check valve bodies than to lift metal valve bodies.
Of course, liquids other than water can also be conveyed from greater depths with the pump according to the present invention. The valve body can also be designed in a different way than that described above without departing from the scope of the invention.
PATENT CLAIMS:
