Claims (1)

  1. KAISERLICHES
    PATENTAMT.
    Der Zweck vorliegenden Turnstabes ist, die aufgewendete Kraft der Arme für den Auszug jedes der beiden Handgriffe nachträglich, nachdem letztere wieder in ihre Ruhelage zurückgekehrt sind, einzeln feststellen und ablesen zu können, da es oft wünschenswerth ist, die Kraft jedes Armes besonders messen zu können, welche bei den meisten Menschen in beiden Armen nicht gleich, sondern in dem einen gröfser als in dem anderen ist.
    Der Turnstab ist in Fig. 1 im Ruhezustand, in Fig. 2 im ausgezogenen Zustand der Handgriffe in der Ansicht dargestellt.
    Auf dem mit Scala versehenen Stab d sind die beiden Handgriffe c und c1 verschiebbar gelagert, welche durch eine gemeinsame Feder a, an deren Enden sie befestigt sind, in einer bestimmten Lage . festgehalten werden. Die Feder α ist in der Mitte an einer auf dem Stab d angeordneten Scheibe b so befestigt, dafs beide Handgriffe c und c1 unabhängig von einander ausgezogen werden können. Auf dem Stab d sind ferner zwei Ringe e und e1 ebenfalls verschiebbar gelagert, die vor der Benutzung des Turnstabes an die Griffe c und c1 geschoben werden und nach der Benutzung in den am weitesten ausgezogenen Stellungen stehen bleiben (Fig. 1 punktirt gezeichnet) und auf der Scala die an jedem Handgriff angewendete Kraft anzeigen. Nach dem Gebrauche werden die Ringe e und el wieder an die Griffe c und cl angeschoben.
    An den beiden Enden dl d1 des Stabes d können auch abnehmbare Gewichte g angebracht werden, wodurch das Gesammtgewicht des Turnstabes geändert werden kann.
    Patent-Anspruch:
    Ein federnd ausziehbarer Turnstab, bei welchem die gröfste seitliche Verschiebung der Handhaben dadurch angezeigt wird, dafs je ein auf dem Stabe gleitender Ring (e e1), welcher von der zugehörigen Handhabe (c bezw. c'1) verschoben wird, beim Zurückgehen der letzteren auf dem Stabe stehen bleibt und die Ablesung auf dessen Scala gestattet.
