Claims (11)

1. Verfahren zum Nachweis von Polymorphismen auf der Grundlage von Nucleotid- Unterschieden in statistischen Segmenten von Nucleinsäuren, umfassend:
(a) getrennte Durchführung einer Extensionsreaktion auf einem statistischen Segment von wenigstens jeweils zwei Nucleinsäuren verschiedenen Ursprungs, wobei die genannte Reaktion umfaßt:
(i) Zusammenbringen von jeder der obigen Nucleinsäuren mit wenigstens einem nichtspezifisch zielgerichteten statistischen Oligonucleotid-Primer von größer als 7 Nucleotiden und Extension des Primers während einer Extensionsreaktion, wobei für wenigstens eine Nucleinsäure ein statistisches Extensionsprodukt wenigstens eines Primers synthetisiert wird und
(b) Vergleich der Ergebnisse der getrennt durchgeführten statistischen Extensionsreaktionen auf Unterschiede.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, nach Stufe (i) und vor Stufe (b), umfassend die zusätzlichen Stufen (ii) Dissoziation des Extensionsproduktes von seinem Komplement und (iii) Amplifizierung des statistischen Nucleinsäurensegments durch Zusammenbringen des dissoziierten Extensionsproduktes mit einem Primer aus Stufe (i) und Extension des Primers während einer Extensionsreaktion, wobei ein Amplifikations-Extensionsprodukt synthetisiert wird, wobei das dissoziierte Extensionsprodukt als Templat verwendet wird.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, bei dem die Stufen (ii) und (iii) wenigstens zweimal durchgeführt werden.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 (i) oder 2 (iii) unter Verwendung einer Nucleinsäure- Polymerase und von Nucleosidtriphosphat-Substraten oder ihren Analoga und Gemischen davon.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei dem ein Primer eingesetzt wird.
6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei dem der Primer eine Länge von 9 bis 10 Nucleotiden besitzt.
7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei dem wenigstens ein Primer biotinyliert wird.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, bei dem die Nucleinsäure-Polymerase eine DNA-Polymerase ist, und die Nucleosidtriphosphat-Substrate Desoxyribonucleosidtriphosphat-Substrate sind.
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, bei dem die DNA-Polymerase eine thermostabile Polymerase ist.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei dem ein Unterschied in dem Extensionsprodukt als Marker zur Konstruktion einer Genkarte verwendet wird.
11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei dem ein Unterschied in dem Extensionsprodukt als Marker zur Unterscheidung oder Indentifizierung von Individuen verwendet wird.
