Description

Nasser Gasmesser Beim Füllen von nassen Gasmessern sind infolge der bekannten verschraubbaren Ablaßvorrichtungen, wobei ein Teil der Füllflüssigkeit des Messers aus dem Gasmesser herausläuft, schon eine große Zahl tödlicher Unglücksfälle zu beklagen. Diese Gefahr wird noch zur Zeit durch die Erhöhung des Gasdruckes infolge des verengten Rohrnetzes auf das Vielfache gesteigert. Um diesen übelstand zu beseitigen, dient die Erfindung, die an der Abbildung erläutert werden soll. In Höhe der sonst bekannterweise angebrachten Ablaßvorrichtung wird in dem Sammelbehälter E ein Schauglas d angeordnet. Erfolgt nun eine Nachfüllung des Gasmessers, so kann man die beendete Füllung des Trommelraumes am Steigen des Wassers im Vorraum erkennen, und der Messer ist ordnungsgemäß, gefüllt, wenn die Füllflüssigkeit in dem Sammelbehälter E das Schauglas d erreicht. Um aber zu vermeiden, daß bereits nach mehrmaligem Nachfüllen des Messers die Füllflüssigkeit infolge Nachlaufens derselben oder durch Druckschwankungen in dem Sammelbehälter E über das Schauglas d hinaus sich anreichert und somit den Messer zum Ertrinken bringt, ist der Sammelbehälter E in bekannter Weise gleichzeitig als Vorratsraum einer Wiederauffüllvorrichtung a ausgebildet. Dadurch wird die Nachlaufflüssigkeit in dem Vorratsraum E zum Auffüllen der Trommelkammer B benutzt. Gleichzeitig wird der Flüssigkeitsspiegel unterhalb des Schauglases d zum Sinken gebracht.
