Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kapsel und ein Verfahren zum Einführen von Arzneimitteln in die Proventriculi (Kaumägen) von Rindern, mit einer aus Pappe oder ähnlichem Fasermaterial hergestellten Hülse, die mit einer Arzneimittelfüllung entweder in Beimischung einer Fettsubstanz, die durch die Körpertemperatur des Tieres nach oraler Darreichung der Kapsel schmelzbar ist, oder in einem Raum zwischen Endpfropfen aus einem solchen Material enthalten ist. Erfindungsgemäß weist die zylindrisch ausgebildete Hülse über wenigstens einen Teilbereich ihrer Länge einen axialen Schlitz auf.
