Description

  • Ersatz für Schmieröle, SchTniermittel, konsistente Fette, Rostschutzmittel o. dgl. Es wurde gefunden, daß die harz-, gummi-, firnis- und ölartigen Körper, die nach Patent 372664 und seinen Zusätzen hergestellt werden, für sich allein oder in Verbindung mit anderen Stoffen, insbesondere Teerölen, als Schmiermittel, Schmieröle und ähnliche liche Produkte Anwendung finden können. Die niederen Körper der Klasse, die ölartigen Charakter zeigen, haben eine erhebliche Viskosität bei geringer Klebefähigkeit und können direkt Verwendung finden. Die höheren Glieder der Reihe, die harzartigen Charakter tragen, lösen sich leicht in Teerölen und ähnlichen Produkten und verleihen denselben eine höhere Viskosität und Schmierfähigkeit, während der harzartige Körper in den Hintergrund tritt.
  • Beispiel i.
  • zoo kg Benzol werden mit 3o kg Chlorschwefel versetzt und unter Zugabe von kleineren Mengen Aluminiumchlorid so lange zum Sieden erhitzt, bis keine Salzsäureentwicklung mehr stattfinden kann, gießt vom Bodensatz ab und verdampft das unangegriffene Benzol. Den Rückstand läßt man erkalten, gießt das sich bildende viskose Öl von den sich ausscheidenden Kristallen ab und verwendet das Öl zu Schmierzwecken. Beispiel e: 50 kg Naphthalinharz, hergestellt nach Patent 372664 und seinen Zusätzen, werden in ioo kg gereinigtem Anthrazenöl unter Erwärmen gelöst. Das entstandene Produkt ist direkt als Schmieröl verwendbar. Beispiel 3.
  • Zoo kg Anthrazenöl werden in einem geschlossenen Kessel mit Rührwerk allmählich mit 3o kg Chlorschwefel versetzt. Wenn die Salzsäureentwicklung aufgehört hat, wird noch einige Zeit erhitzt, um die Salzsäure zu vertreiben oder etwas Kalk oder Atka:li zugesetzt. Das erhaltene dicke Öl kann entweder direkt zu Schmierzwecken verwendet werden oder in Verdünnung mit Teeröl o. dgl.

Claims (1)

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH: Ersatz für Schmieröle, Schmiermittel, konsistente Fette Rostschutzmittel u. dgl., dadurch *gekennzeichnet, daß man die nach Patent 372664 durch Einwirkung von Chlorschwefel auf aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe gebildeten Produkte für sich oder durch Lösen in Teerölen oder anderen Ölen als Schmiermittel verwendet.
