Mit 1 ist ein als Unterbauherd vorgesehener Kochherd bezeichnet, dessen zugehöriges Kochfeld 2 (Kochmulde) in einer sogen. Der vorbeschriebene Kochherd 1 steht auf einem üblichen Tragsockel 6, der gegenüber dem eigentlichen Kochherd-Gehäuse etwas zurückgesetzt ausgebildet und belüftet ist. In dem Raum 7 des Tragsockels 6 ist der Schalt- und Steuermodul 8 für die Kochstellen-Induktionsbeheizung untergebracht. Der Schalt- und Steuermodul 8 ist dabei zweckmäßig in einer wasserdichten Wanne 9 eingebaut, die unter Bildung eines Sicherheitsabstandes 10 zur Aufstellfläche 11 des Kochherdes im Tragsockel 6 angeordnet ist. Die Wanne 9 mit dem Schalt- und Steuermodul 8 ist zweckmäßig auf im Tragsockel 6 vorgesehenen Schienen bzw. Schiebeleisten 12 nach vorne, d. h. zur Bedienungsseite hin herausnehmbar bzw. -ziehbar angeordnet. Weiterhin ist im Raum 7 des Tragsockels 6 ein Kühlgebläse 13 für den Schalt- und Steuermodul 8 untergebracht.
