&phgr; &Lgr; «ft
Ein Regelwiderstand des Standes der Technik ist eine elektrische Komponente, bei der der in einer Schaltung wirksame Widerstand mittels
eines Knopfes oder eines Griffes leicht verändert werden kann. Der Kohlenstoffkontaktpunkt des Regelwiderstandes wird jedoch abgenutzt, wenn
der Regelwiderstand für eine gewisse Zeitspanne verwendet worden ist, wodurch er nicht mehr normal arbeiten kann und ungeeignet ist, mit
Steuerknüppeln verwendet zu werden.
Es ist daher die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, die Nachteile des
obenerwähnten Standes der Technik zu beseitigen und ein verbessertes
Potentiometer zu schaffen.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch ein Potentiometer, das die
im Anspruch 1 angegebenen Merkmale besitzt. Die abhängigen Ansprüche sind auf bevorzugte Ausführungsformen gerichtet.
Weitere Merkmale und Vorteile der vorliegenden Erfindung werden deutlich
beim Lesen der folgenden Beschreibung bevorzugter Ausführungsformen, die auf die beigefügten Zeichnungen Bezug nimmt; es zeigen:
Fig. 1 eine Explosionsansicht eines Potentiometers gemäß der
vorliegenden Erfindung;
Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht, die die innere Struktur des Potentiome
ters gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung zeigt; und
Fig. 3A, 3B, 3C Ansichten des in Betrieb befindlichen Potentiometers
gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung.

Wie in den Zeichnungen und insbesondere in den Fig. 1 und 2 gezeigt, umfaßt
das optische Analogpotentiometer gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung im wesentlichen eine Basis 1, einen Schaft 2, einen Sitz 3 und eine Abdeckung 4.
Die Basis 1 enthält eine gedruckte Schaltungsplatine, auf der ein Lichtsender
11 und ein Lichtempfänger 12, der dem Lichtsender 11 gegenüberliegend
angeordnet ist, montiert sind. Der Lichtsender 11 wird über eine elektrische
Schaltung mit einer konstanten Spannung versorgt, um Licht auszusenden, und liefert eine Arbeitsspannung zum Lichtempfänger 12. Der Lichtsender 11 und
der Lichtempfänger 12 können irgendeinem herkömmlichen Entwurf entsprechen, der im Stand der Technik wohlbekannt ist, und werden nicht als Teil der
Erfindung betrachtet. Der Lichtempfänger 12 ist dem Lichtsender 11 gegenüberliegend
montiert, wobei eine Lücke zwischen diesen vorhanden ist, so daß eine photoelektrische Vorrichtung gebildet wird.
Der Sitz 3 ist ein kreisförmiges Element, das mit einer Sektorenöfmung 31
versehen ist und fest auf einem oberen Ende des Schafts 2 montiert ist. An der äußeren Kante der Sektorenöfmung 31 ist eine Kunststoffschicht 32 angeordnet.
Die Kunststoffschicht 32 ist mit zwei Endabschnitten 322 versehen, die lichtundurchlässig sind, sowie mit einem Mittelabschnitt 321, der lichtdurchlässig
ist. Der Grad der Transparenz des Mittelabschnitts 321 nimmt von einer Seite zur anderen ab (siehe Fig. 3B). Das untere Ende des Schafts 2 ist durch
die Zentralbohrung der Basis 1 geführt, so daß die Kunststoffschicht 32 zwischen dem Lichtsender 11 und dem Lichtempfänger 12 angeordnet ist. Der
Sitz 3 ist von der Abdeckung 4 umschlossen, die fest auf der Basis 1 montiert ist, um zu verhindern, daß die photoelektrische Vorrichtung durch Störsignale
und unerwünschtes Licht gestört wird, und um diese vor einer Beschädigung zu schützen.
Wie in den Fig. 3 A, 3B und 3C gezeigt, wird dann, wenn der Schaft 2 gedreht
wird, der Sitz 3 mit diesem gedreht, so daß die Position der Kunststoffschicht 33 bezüglich der photoelektrischen Vorrichtung geändert wird, wodurch die
Intensität des vom Lichtempfänger 12 empfangenen Lichts gesteuert wird und
somit der vom Lichtempfänger 12 gelieferte Strom gesteuert wird. Der Lichtsender 11 und der Lichtempfänger 12 sind fest auf der Basis 1 montiert
und werden durch die Drehung des Schaftes 2 nicht beeinflußt. Das Potentio-
meter gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung ist sehr empfindlich und besitzt eine
lange Lebensdauer und kann einen herkömmlichen Regelwiderstand ersetzen.
Claims (3)
1. Potentiometer,
gekennzeichnet durch
gekennzeichnet durch
einen Schaft (2),
eine Basis (1), die eine gedruckte Schaltungsplatine enthält, auf der
ein Lichtsender (11) und ein Lichtempfänger (12), der dem Lichtsender (11)
gegenüberliegend und beabstandet von diesem angeordnet ist, fest montiert sind, wobei der Lichtsender (11) mit einer konstanten Spannung versorgt wird,
um Licht auszusenden und eine Arbeitsspannung an den Lichtempfänger (12) zu liefern;
einen kreisförmigen Sitz (3), der mit einer Öffnung (31) versehen
ist und fest auf einem oberen Ende des Schaftes (2) montiert ist;
eine Kunststoffschicht (32), die auf einer Außenkante der Öffnung (31) angeordnet ist und zwischen dem Lichtsender (11) und dem Lichtempfänger
(12) angeordnet ist; und
eine Abdeckung (4), die fest auf der Basis (1) montiert ist, um den
kreisförmigen Sitz (3) zu umschließen.
