Dämmschicht
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dämmschicht aus Baumwolle, insbesondere zur Wärme- und Schalldämmung an Wänden und Fußböden, bestehend aus einer mehrlagigen Baumwollschicht.
Es ist bekannt, zur Wärme- und Schalldämmung an Wänden Platten aus Mineralwolle zu verwenden. Derartige Platten haben zwar gute Dämmeigenschaften, müssen jedoch beim Verarbeiten mit Sorgfalt behandelt werden, da sie zerbrechen können. Des weiteren findet im Laufe der Zeit eine alterungsbedingte Abtragung statt. Die von der Platte losgelösten Partikel können in die Luft gelangen und beeinträchtigen dadurch die Qualität der Raumluft.
Man ist daher in jüngster Zeit dazu übergegangen, zur Wärme- und Schalldämmung von Wänden Dämmschichten aus Baumwolle zu verwenden. Baumwolle hat eine überaus günstige Wärmeleitzahl und ist in der Lage, Schall zu absorbieren. Des weiteren ist Baumwolle frei von Schadstoffen.
Es ist eine Baumwoll-Dämmschicht bekannt, welche aus einer mehrlagigen Baumwollschicht besteht. Zur besseren Verarbeitbarkeit des Dämmstoffs sind die Baumwollschichten miteinander verklebt. Dies wird oftmals nicht gewünscht, da dadurch die Eigenschaft der Dämmschicht, ein 100 %-iges Naaturprodukt zu sein, verloren geht.
Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, eine eingangs genannte Dämmschicht derart auszubilden, daß sie sich gut handhaben läßt, wobei keine Zusatzstoffe verwendet werden.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe ergibt sich aus den Merkmalen des kennzeichnenden Teils des einzigen Anspruchs. Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen .
Gemäß der Erfindung sind die Baumwollagen der Dämmschicht miteinander vernäht. Hierdurch erhält die Dämmschicht eine gute Stabilität und kann dadurch leicht gehandhabt werden. Wird als Nähfaden ein Baumwollfaden verwendet, besteht die Dämmschicht vollständig aus Baumwolle und enthält keine Zusatzstoffe.
Es hat sich gezeigt, daß die Baumwollagen ohne besondere Vorbehandlung miteinander vernäht werden können. Zum Vernähen wird die mehrlagige Baumwol1schicht einer Vorrichtung zugeführt, in der sich eine Vielzahl nebeneinander angeordneter Nähnadeln befindet. Die Arbeitsweise einer einzelnen Nähnadel unterscheidet sich jedoch von der Arbeitsweise einer herkömmlichen Nähmaschine nicht.
Je nach Anforderung an die Dämmschicht kann eine besondere Art der Nähnaht gewählt werden. Als besonders zweckmäßig hat sich jedoch eine Vernähung mit einem sogenannten Zick-Zack-Stich gezeigt. Soll die Dämmschicht eine besonders hohe Stabilität aufweisen, so kann sie mit mehreren sich kreuzenden Nähten vernäht werden. Hierzu ist es besonders günstig, wenn die Nähte sich in einem Winkel von 90° kreuzen.
Mittels einer höheren Anzahl von Nähten kann auch erreicht werden, daß die Lagen dichter aufeinanderliegen, wodurch die Dicke der Dämmschicht abnimmt. Eine derartige Dämmschicht ist besonders zur Trittschalldämpfung in Fußbodenkonstruktionen, wie beispielsweise unter einem Parkettboden, geeignet. Die erfindungsgemäße Dämmschicht kann jedoch auch als Hohlraumdämmung in Trennwänden sowie im inneren Bereich von Hauswänden verwendet werden.
