Description

Die \orliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verbundflächengebilde mit hoher Saugfähigkeit, gemäß Oberbegriff \ on Anspruch I, das insbesondere in Bereichen der Medizin und Hygiene, aber ,inch z.B. als Bcklcidiings-Futterstoff vorteilhaft eingesetzt weiden kann.
Derartige Fläehcngebildc haben die Aufgabe, flüssige Körocrau,Scheidungen, wie Si 'nveiü. Wiindsekrcte.
Blut oder Urin aufzusaugen und die aufgesaugten Flüssigkeiten zu speiehern. Sie bestehen im allgemeinen aus einer hochsaiiglähigen Speicherschicht und einer diese bedeckenden oder umhüllenden Abdeckschichl.
Wie der DE-OS 2b Ol b 17 zu einnehmen ist, soll diese Abdeckschichl aus einem Material mit geringem Feuchtigkeiisaufnahmevermögen bestehen, um /i\ vermeiden, daß in ihr Feuchtigkeit gespeichert wird und n\ Hautreizungen führt, /u diesem /weck wird in dieser Vorveröffentlichung vorgeschlagen, die Abdeckschichl ausschließlich aus Polypropylenfasern zu bilden, also aus Fasern mil siark hydrophober Oberfläche. In der Praxis hai sich jedoch gezeigt daß eine derartige hydrophobe Mxlcckschichi nicht für ein angenehmeres, trockeneres
·' I lauigefühl sorgen kann,da sie geradezu verhindert, daß die Flüssigkeiten von der Körperseile her so schnell und vollständig in die Speicherschicht gelangt, daß eine ständige Trockenhaliiing der Haut — insbesondere einer Wunde — resultiert.
-" Dies wird auch mit dem in der DE-OS J7 85b5J beschriebenen saugfähigen Faservliesstoff iiichl erreicht, dessen Abdeckschicht überwiegend aus ZeII-sioffasern besteht und durch Behandlung mil einem Netzmittel eine erhöhte Saugfähigkeit erhalten soll. Da
-'' Zellstoffasern bekanntlich ein hohes Feuehligkeitsaufnahmevermögen besitzen, bleibl eine solche Abdeckschicht immer fenci:!.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein saugfähiges llächengebilde zu schaffen, in dem die vom menschlichen Körper ausgeschiedenen Flüssigkeiten schnell und vollständig von der Haul fortgeleilet und dann isoliert von der Haut gespeichert werden.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe gelingt mit einem

daß die Abdeckschichl gleich/eilig ein Transportmittel und eine Sperre für die von der Speicherschicht aufzusaugenden flüssigkeiten darstellt: Infolge der
h1» Benetzbarkeit finden die Flüssigkeiten unbehindert ihren Weg durch die Abdeckschicht hindurch in die Speicherschichi. und infolge der geringen Feuchtigkeilsaufnahmefähigkeit wird die gesamte Flüssigkeit unver-
zuglich an die Speicherschichi weitergegeben, so dall die Abdeckschichl praktisch trocken bleibt. Dieser vorteilhafte liffekl wird weder durch das eine noch andere der beiden o. a. Merkmale alleine erreicht.
Vorzugsweise enthüll die Abdecksehiehl 0,1 bis 10 mg ■> Netzmittel pro I g Fasergewicht. Als Netzmittel hat sich ein Umsetzungsprodukt von Rizinusöl und Äth>leno\\d im Molverhültnis von ungefähr I :40 besonders gut bewahrt. Das ' lachengevvicht geeigneter Vliese, die beispielsweise aus endlos gesponnenen, in Wirrlage ι» abgelegten und bindemittelfrei gebundenen l'ol>propylenfasern bestehen, liegt im allgemeinen unier 50 g/m-' bei einem l'asertiter von kleiner als j.J cilex.
Um zu verhindern, dall die Speicherschieht an ihrer freien Rückseite die aufgenommene !dichtigkeit t'> wieder abgibt, kann diese Seile mit einer hydrophoben, insbesondere luftdurchlässigen Sperrschicht abgedeckt sein. Diese Sperrschicht besteht vorzugsweise aus einem bindemittelfrei gebundenen Synthesetaservlies, das sich von dem Material der Abdeckschicht nur -< > dadurch unterscheide!. c!;sü es nicht mit einem vlieses, die etwas mehr als doppelt so breit ist wie das herzustellende Fndp-odukt. mn einer faserschicht mil hohem l'euchtigkeiisspeichervermngen. deren !!reite etwa der lireite des Kndpiodiikics entspricht, belegt wird und bei dem dann durch Umschlagen und insbesondere Verbinden der seitlich überstehenden Runder des Vlieses die Speicherschichi umhüllt wird I JTindiingsgemaü ist dieses Verfahren dadurch gekennzeichnet, dall ein bindemittelfrei gebundenes Vlies .ms h\drophohen Fasern verwende! wird, das ii.ilh km Umhüllen nur an der Saugseile mit einem Nci/' iii.■! behandelt w ird.

Zur Herstellung eines saugfähigen Verbundflüchengebildes gemäß der letztgenannten vorteilhaften Ausfühnmgsform der Hrfinclung wird ein Verfahren -"> bevorzugt, bei dem eine Hahn eines Swithesefaser-Speicherschichl 2 und einem hydrophoben Vlies 4 ausgegangen wird. Nach Umlegen der überstehenden Teile des Vlieses umhülll dieses die Speicherschichi und wird dann ausschließlich an der Saugseite 5 Irin einem Netzmitlei behandelt.

Claims (5)

Paicnianspi üche:
1. Verbundflächengebilde mil hoher Saugl'ähigkeil, insbesondere zur Verwendung in Bereichen der Medizin und Hygiene, d;is ;uis mindestens zwei Schichten mit unterschiedlicher Feuchtigkeitsaiifnahmefähigkeit besteht, wobei eine ;uis einem bindemittelfrei gebundenen Synthesofaservlies bestehende Abdeckschichl mit geringer Feuchligkeitsaufnahmefühigkeil eine darunterliegende Speicher-Schicht mil hoher Fetichtigkeitsaufnahmefähigkeii bedeckt, gek cn η/e ich π e ι durch eine Kombination folgender Merkmale:
a) Die Abdeckschichi (I) besitzt eine so geringe Feuehligkeilsaufnahmefähigkeit, daß sie nach Angleichen an das Normalklima gemäß DIN 53 802 einen Feuchtigkeitsgehalt von weniger als 61Vi). bezogen auf ihr Trockengewicht geirsaO DIN 53 800. aufweist.
b) Die Abdeckschichl (I) besieht aus ursprünglich hydrophoben Fasern, deren Oberfläche durch Aufbringen eines Netzmittels benetzbar gemacht ist.
2. Verbundflaehengebildi· nach Ansprich 2. dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die AbdeckschL-ht (I) 0.1 bis 10mg Netzmittel pro Ig l'asergewiehl enthält.
3. Verbundflächengebilde nach Anspruch 2. dadurch g' kennzeichnet, dall als Netzmittel ein IJmsetzimgsprodukt von Rizinusöl und Äthylenoxyd im Miilvci'hiiltnis von ungefivnr 1 : 40 enthalten ist.
4. Verbundflächengebi'.de n;n;h Anspruch 1 bis 3. wobei die freie Rückseite ilei Speicherscliicht mit einer hydrophoben, gegebenenfalls luftdurchlässigen. Sperrschicht abgedeckt ist. dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die freie Rückseite tier .Speicherschicht (2) mit einer Sperrschicht (J) aus einem bindemittelfrei gebundenen Synihcsefaservlies abgedeckt ist, das sich von dem Material der Abdcckschicht (I) nur dadurch unterscheidet, daß es nicht mit einem Nelzmitlel behandelt ist.
5. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Verbundfläehcngcbildcs nach Anspruch 4. bei dem eine Bahn eines .Synthesefaservlieses, die etwas mehr als doppelt so breil ist wie das herzustellende Endprodukt, mit einer Faserschicht mit hohem Fciichligkeilsspeichervermögen. deren Ureile etwa der Breite des Endproduktes entspricht, belegt wird, und bei dem dann durch Umschlagen und insbesondere Verbinden der seitlich überstehenden Ränder des Vlieses die Speichcrschicht umhüllt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein bindemittelfrei gebundenes Vlies aus hydrophoben Fasern verwendet wird, das nach dem Umhüllen nur an der Saiigseite(5)mil einem Netzmittel behandelt wird.
