Description

Der Gegenstand des Hauptanspruchs betrifft dabei einen Adapterring zur Auflage auf ein Sammelbehältnis, insbesondere eine Auffangschüssel. Hierbei ist auf einer Oberseite des Adapterrings eine Kupplungsvorrichtung zum lösbaren Befestigen und/oder Halten eines Schneidwerkzeuges angeordnet. Das Schneidwerkzeug ist vorzugsweise zum Zerkleinern von Lebensmitteln, wie beispielsweise Obst, Gemüse oder dergleichen, eingerichtet. Ferner weist der Adapterring im Bereich innerhalb der Kupplungsvorrichtung eine zentrale Durchgangsöffnung auf. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Lehre wird der Vorteil erreicht, dass die Öffnung des Sammelbehältnisses im Wesentlichen bis auf die Durchgangsöffnung im Adapterring abgedeckt wird, wenn der Adapterring auf dem Sammelbehältnis aufgelegt wird. Hierbei wird verhindert, dass das durch die Durchgangsöffnung hindurchfallende Schneidgut nach dem Schneiden mit dem Schneidwerkzeug nicht seitlich aus dem Sammelbehältnis herausfallen und/oder herausspringen kann.
