Description
- Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von schlauchförmigen Rohlingen für die Erzeugung von Tuben aus Sohichtmaterial Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von schlauchförmigen Rohlingen für die Erzeugung von Tuben aus Schichtmaterial, wie z.B. aus Metall und/oder Kunststoff, Papier od.dgl., wobei die Aussenseiten des Materials durch mindestens eine thermoplastische Kunststoffschicht gebildet sind und das Material unter Bildung einer Längsnaht zu einem Hohlzylinder verformt wird. Gleichzeitig zeigt die Erfindung eine das Verfahren durchführende Vorrichtung.
- Zusammendrückbare Behälter, wie Tuben od.dgl., wobei zumindest eine Bahn des Schichtmaterials eine Metallschicht ist, sind seit längerem bekannt. Die Metallschicht soll dabei verhindern, dass sich im Tubeninhalt befindliche ätherische Öle, Aromastoffe nach aussen hin verflüchtigen bzw. dass von aussen her in das Behälterinnere irgendwelche Stoffe eindringen, die den Behälterinhalt, beispielsweise Lebens-oder Genussmittel, verderben lassen. Diesen Nachteil haben beispielsweise Kunststofftuben aus Polyäthylen. Ein Nachteil von Tuben aus Schichtmaterial besteht darin, dass das Schichtmaterial an dem innenliegenden Längsrand freiliegt, so dass Teile des Behälterinhaltes zwischen die das Schichtmaterial bildenden- Schichten eindringen und dieses zerstören können. Diesen Mangel zu beseitigen, erschwert die Herstellung von Tuben aus Schichtmaterial. Man hat deshalb bereits vorgeschlagen (US-Patentschrift 2 440 339), das Schichtmaterial vor der Nachbildung U-fö.rmig umzuschlagen, so dass im Tubeninnern keine Längsseiten des Schlauchmaterials mehr freiliegen.
- Ein anderer bekannter Vorschlag (OS 1 486 125) geht dahin, die aussenliegenden Kunststoffschichten an den Rändern über die Mittelschicht hinaus zu verlängern und miteinander zu verbinden, so dass das Schichtmaterial dadurch einen Kantenschutz hat. Weitere Verfahren zur Bildung eines Kantenschutzes bei Schichtmaterial sind in der OS 1 486 190 bzw. 1 486 193 bekanntgeworden.
- Wie ersichtlich, haben die bekannten Verfahren alle den Nachteil, dass sie zu ihrer Durchführung einen mechanischen Aufwand bzw. komplizierte Fertigungsvorrichtungen erfordern. Diese Mängel werden erfindungsgemäss dadurch vermieden, dass zur Längsnahtbildung sofort zusätzlich thermoplastisches Kunststoffmaterial zwischen die sich überlappenden Materialränder eingebracht und durch Druck- und Wärmeeinwirkung zum Abbinden mit den anliegenden Kunststovfbehichten des Schlauchmaterials gebracht wird. Das zusätzliche Kunststoffmaterial lässt sich im plastifizierten Zustand zwischen die Überlappungsränder einbringen oder im kalten Zustand und anschliessend durch Wärmeeinwirkung plastifizieren.
- Mit besonderem Vorteil kann das Kunststoffmaterial in Form eines Profilstranges eingebracht werden, der zweckmässig verstärkte Längsränder hat, die nach dem Einbringen die Längsränder des Schichtmaterials abdecken.
- Die Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des erfindungsgemässen Verfahrens kennzeichnet sich durch ihren einfachen unkomplizierten Aufbau. Es ist ein an sich bekannter Schlauchbildner mit einem in das Schlauchinnere einfassenden Dorn od.dgl. und eine vor der die Naht bildenden Stelle angeordnete Zuführungseinrichtung für zusätzliches Kunststoffbindematerial sowie eine Andruckvorrichtung zum Verpressen der Naht vorgesehen. Die Zuführungseinrichtung für das Kunststoffmaterial kann dabei ein in die Überlappungszone einfassender Extruder oder eine in die Uberlappungszone einmündende Leitvorrichtung zum Zuführen eines Profilstranges sein.
- Weitere Einzelheiten der Erfindung sind in der nachfolgenden Beschreibung anhand der beigefügten Zeichnungen erläutert, und zwar zeigen: Fig. 1 eine schematische perspektivische Darstellung der erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung, Fig. 2 einen Schnitt durch ein zur Verarbeitung gelangendes Schichtmaterial, Fig. 3 bis 5 Schnittdarstellungen durch den Schlauchbildner in vergrössertem Maßstab, Fig. 6 eine perspektivische schematische Darstellung einer anderen Ausführungsform der Vorrichtung, Fig. 7 einen Querschnitt durch den Schlauchbildner während der Llngsnahtbildung und Fig. 8 einen Schnitt durch den noch auf dem Dorn t? befindlichen fertigen Schlauch während des# Glättens der Längs naht.
- Das zur Bildung der schlauchförmigen Rohlinge für die Tubenherstellung verwendete Schichtmaterial besteht beispielsweise gemäss Fig. 2 aus einer innenliegenden Metallfolie 1, auf die beiderseits eine thermoplastische Kunststoffschicht 2 bzw. 2> aufkaschiert ist. Derartiges Material ist in Form eines endlosen Bandes auf einer Vorratsrolle 3 (Fig. 1) aufgewickelt und läuft in axialer Richtung auf einen Dorn 4 auf, wobei in dem mit A bezeichneten Raum an sich bekannte Formwerkzeuge vorgesehen sind, die das Bandmaterial zum Dorn 4 hin leiten und an den Längsrändern soweit umlegen, dass ein ungehindertes Auflaufen und Herumlegen des Materials um den Dorn ermöglicht wird. Der Dorn bzw. die Bandbreite des Materials sind so bemessen, dass auf der Oberseite des Dornes 4 aus dem Schichtmaterial 3 eine Längsnaht gebildet wird.
- Bei der Ausführungsform der Vorrichtung gemäss Fig. 1 ist eine Zuführungsvorrichtung 5 für das Einführen thermoplastischen Kunststoffbindematerials vorgesehen, die mit ihrem Auslass 6 zwischen die die Naht bildenden sich überlappenden Längsränder des Schlauohmaterials einfasst.
- Gegebenenfalls kann die Vorrichtung 5 auch ein entsprechend ausgestalteter Extruder sein. Hierdurch wird plastifiziertes Kunststoffmaterial 7 gemäss Fig. 3 zugeführt und in einer solchen Menge eingebracht, dass gemäss Fig. 4 die Längsränder des Schichtmaterials 3 von dem zugebrachten Kunststoffmaterial 7 mit abgedeckt werden. Gegebenenfalls lässt sich der Dorn 4, der zweckmässig auf seiner Oberseite eine Beschichtung aufweist, die das Anhaften des darüber hinweglaufenden Schichtmaterials verhindert, zusätzlich beheizen.
- Mit Hilfe eines Presswerkzeuges 8 werden die Längsränder des Schlauchmaterials 3 mit dem zwischengeschalteten Kunststoffmaterial 7 fest aufeinandergepresst. Anschliessend kann die so gebildete Naht mit Hilfe einer Andruckrolle 9 auf der Aussenseite geglättet werden wie es Fig. 5 zeigt. rauch die Andruckrolle muss notfalls beheizt werden und mit entspreehendem Druck auf die Naht aüfdrücken. Sie ist auf ihrem Umfang entsprechend dem Umfang des Materialschláuches profiliert, so dass die Naht der Zylinderform des Schlauches genau angepasst wird.
- Zweekmässig kann der Dorn 4 noch eine längsverlaufende Vertiefung 10 aufweisen, die im Bereich der Naht liegt und dazu dient, eine gewisse Menge des Kunststoffbindematerials aufzunehmen, damit auch ein richtiger Abschliessen des inneren Längsrandes des Schiöhtmaterials erfolgt. Unter der Einwirkung von Wärme und Druck erfolgt ein inniges Verbinden oder Verschweissen des zusätzlich eingebrachten Kunststoffbindematerials 7 mit den zweckmässig aus gleichem Kunststoffmaterial bestehenden Aussenschichten des Sohichtmaterials 3.
- Am Ende des Dornes 4 läuft schliesslich ein endloser -Schlauch 3J ab, der mit Hilfe einer Schneidvorrichtung 11 in einzelne Stücke bzw. Rohlinge für die Tubenherstellung unterteilt werden kann. Der Schlauch ist ~auf seiner Aussenseite glatt und ansehnlich. Die Längsränder des Schlauchmaterials sind sowohl innen als auch aussen durch Kunststoffmaterial abgedeckt und geschlossen, so dass eine Durchlässigkeit weder von auisen nach innen noch von innen nach aussen von vornherein ausgeschlossen ist.
- Bei der Ausführungsform der Vorrichtung gemäss Fig. 6 bis 8 gelangt ähnliches Schichtmaterial 3 zur Anwendung. Anstelle des Extruders 5 ist eine Leitvorrichtung 12 vor gesehen, die ein von einer Vorratsrolle 13 ablaufendes Band 14 aus Kunststoffbindematerial #zwischen die sich überlappenden Randteile des Schichtmaterials 3 einführt.
- Das profilierte Kunststoffmaterial hat gemäss Fig. 7 zweckmässig auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten verdickte Längsränder 15, wobei die Breite des Bandes 14 der Breite der herzustellenden Naht bzw. dem Überlappungsbereich des Schichtmaterials 3 entspricht. Diese Bemessung des in die Naht einlaufenden Profilmaterials bewirkt, dass sich an den Längskanten des Sohichtmaterials 3 sowohl innen als auch aussen an eine Anhäufung Kunststoff befindet. Durch Beheizen des Dornes 4 bzw. der Andruckvorrichtung 9 wird das Band 14, 15 in plastischem Zustand übergeführt bzw.
- zum Fliessen gebracht, so dass im Bereich der Naht eine innige Verbindung zwischen den übereinanderliegenden Längsrändern des Schichtmaterials 3 und ein Breitfliessen der Bandränder 15 bewirkt wird und ähnlich wie vorher die Längskanten des Schichtmaterials 3 völlig mit Kunststoff umschlossen werden (Fig. b). Die weitere Verarbeitung des mit der Vorrichtung#gemäss Fig. 6 hergestellten Schlauches erfolgt in der gleichen Weise wie vorher beschrieben.
Claims (10)
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von schlauchförmigen Rohlingen für die-Erzeugung
von Tuben aus Schichtmaterial, wie z.B. aus Metall und/oder Kunststoff, Papier od.dgl.,
wobei die Aussenseiten des Materials durch mindestens eine thermoplastische Kunststoffschicht
gebildet sind und das Material unter Bildung einer Längsnaht zu einem Hohlzylinder
verformt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zur Längsnahtbildung zusätzliches thermoplastisches
Kunststoffmaterial zwischen die sich überlappenden Materialränder eingebracht und
durch Druck- ~und Wärmeeinwirkung zum Abbinden mit den anliegenden Kunststoffschichten
des# Schlauchmaterials gebracht wird.
2. Verfahren zur Herstellung von schlauchförmigen Rohlingen nach
Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zusätzliche Kunststoffmaterial im plastifizierten
Zustand zwischen die Überlappungsränder eingebracht wird.
3. Verfahren zur Herstellung von schlauchförmigen Rohlingen nach
Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzetohnet, dass das zusätzliche Kunststoffmaterial im kalten
Zustand zwischen die Überlappungsrknder eingebracht und anschliessend durch Wärmeeinwirkung
plastifiziert wird.
4. Verfahren zur Herstellung von schlauchför#iigen Rohlingen nach
Anspruch 1 und 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zusätzliche Kunststoffmaterial
in Form eines Profilstranges eingebracht wird.
5. Verfahren zur Herstellung von schlauchförmigen Rohlingen nach
Anspruch 1, 3 und 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zusätzliche Kunststoffmaterial
in Form eines flachen mit verstärkten iängsrändern versehenen Bandes eingebracht
wird.
6. Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens gemäss Anspruch 1,
gekennzeichnet durch einen an sich bekannten Schlauchbildner mit einem in das Schlauchinnere
einfassenden Dorn od.dgl. und eine vor der die nachbildenden Stelle angeordnete
Zuführungseinrichtung für zusätzliches Kunststoffbindematerial sowie eine Andruckvorrichtung
zum Verpressen der Naht.
7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die
Zuführungseinrichtung für das Kunststoffmaterial ein in die Überlappungszone einfassender
Extruder ist.
8. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die
Zuführungseinrichtung für das Kunststoffmaterial eine mit ihrem Auslauf in die Überlappungszone
einmündende Leitvorrichtung zum Zuführen eines Profilstranges ist.
9. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der
Dorn im Bereich des innenliegenden Materialrandes eine längs verlaufende Vertiefung
zur Aufnahme eines Teiles des zugebrachten Kunststoffbindematerials und gegebenenfalls
Schlauchmaterials aufweist.
10. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die
Anpressvorrichtung aus einer Andruckrolle gebildet ist, die in ihrer Arbeitsfläche
sich der zylindrischen Aussenseite des Schlauches anpasst.
