Die Abdeckung soll den Mauerkopf mit einer Abtropf kante und die Umrandung von Schwimmbecken mit einer Schwallwasserkante umfassen. Darüber hinaus soll die Abdeckung bei Schwimmbecken das Gestalten einer Ablaufrinne Und das Nivellieren einer Überlaufkante gestatten. Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß die Abdeckung als ein gerades, gewinkeltes oder gekrümmtes, sich über eine vorgegebene Länge erstreckendes Kunststoffteil ausgebildet ist, das im Querschnitt eine im Wesentlichen ebene Deckfläche mit einer Unterfütterung und zwei sich verjüngende Randbereiche aufweist, wobei der erste Randbereich zu einer in Richtung auf.die Unterfütterung offenen Wulst geformt und der zweite Randbereich in Richtung auf die Auflage abgewinkelt ist. Die Abdeckung besteht aus einem glasfaserverstärkten Polyester. Vorteilhafterweise ist das Bauteil als Sandwich ausgebildet. Es liegt auch im Bereich der Erfindung, den Schaumkern, also die Unterfütterung, keilförmig auszubilden, um insbesondere in Verbindung mit dem Auftrag von einem Mörtelbett eine größere Variationsbreite in der Anpassung zu vorhandenen, das Becken umgebenden begehbaren Platten zu haben. Der Schaumkern besteht aus einem Polyurethan. In einer ebenfalls bevorzugten Variante ist unter der Deckfläehe eine in die Auflage hineinragende Arretierungsflosse ausgebildet, die sich durchgehend über den Längsverlauf der Abdeckung erstreckt oder über den Längsverlauf der Abdeckung Unterbrechungen aufweist. In einer vorteilhaften Ausführung ist in der Deckfläche eine mit einem Rost abgedeckte Ablaufrinne ausgebildet. In einer weiteren Ausführung ist in der Deckfläche eine Vertiefung ausgebildet, die formschlüssig eine vertikal justierbare Überlaufleiste aufnimmt. Vorteilhafterweise besitzt die Deckfläehe eine rutschhemmende, wasserdichte und pflegeleichte Oberfläche. .:.''■
Erfindungsgemäß wird die A&mgr;fgabe für die Abdeckung von Mauerköpfen an Bauwerken dadurch gelöst, daß die Abdeckung als ein gerades, gewinkeltes oder gekrümmtes, sich über eine vorgegebene Länge erstreckendes Kunststoffteil ausgebildet ist, das im Querschnitt eine im Wesentlichen 1 ebene Deckfläehe und sich verjüngende Randbereiche aufweist, wobei beide Randbereiche zu einer in Richtung auf das Mauerwerk offenen Wulst geformt sind. Die Deckfläehe weist eine sich in der Längsrichtung der Abdeckung erstreckende Rippe auf. Die Rippe enthält eine oder mehrere Unterbrechungen. Fig. 1 zeigt eine Abdeckung, bestehend aus einer Deckfläche 1 mit darunter angeordneter Unterfütterung 2 und beidseitig von der Deckfläche nach unten abgewinkelten Randbereichen, nämlich einem ersten Randbereich 3 sowie einem gegenüberliegenden zweiten Randbereich 4.
Fig. 2 zeigt den Querschnitt der erfindungsgemäßen Abdeckung als Umrandung des Schwirnmbekkens mit einer rutschhemmenden, wasserdichten und pflegeleichten Deckfläche 1, einem als Sandwich eingearbeiteten Polyurethan-Schaumkern als Unterfütterung 2 zur Erhöhung der Formstabilität und Gewichtsreduzierung, einem ersten Randbereich 3 und einem zweiten Randbereich 4. Beide Randbereiche 3; 4 sind in ihrem Querschnitt verjüngt. Die Funktion der Abdeckung für die Umrandung von Garten-Schwimmbecken ist folgende: Gewöhnlich weisen der Schwimmbeckenkopf 14 und die angrenzende Anschlußpfiasterung 13 sowohl in horizontaler als auch in vertikaler Richtung Maß- und Formabweichungen auf. Zum Ausgleich der vertikalen Maß- und Formabweichungen bezüglich der Schwimmbeckeninnenseite ist die erfindungsgemäße Abdeckung im ersten Randbereich 3 durch Beschnitt so anzupassen, daß die einzelnen Längen der Abdeckung in vertikaler Lage zueinander fluchten. In ähnlicher Weise ist der zweite Randbereich 4 an die Auflagefläche der Anschlußpflasterung 13 oder dergleichen anzupassen. Für ein dichtes Anliegen der Enden beider Randbereiche 3; 4 sind diese federnd ausgeführt. Nach dem Abschluß dieser Arbeiten sind die einzelnen Längen der Abdeckung auf die Umrandung aufzukleben. In dieses mit einem Zahnspachtel aufzutragende Kleberbett werden nun die einzelnen Längen der Abdeckung eingelegt, wobei das horizontale Ausnivellieren der Elemente zueinander durch Eindrücken in das Kleber- bzw. Mörtelbett 11 erfolgt. Eine gute Verbindung der Abdeckung mit dem Kleber wird durch eine besandete Unterseite der Abdeckung erreicht. Eine Befestigung der Abdeckung auf dem Schwimmbeckenkopf und/oder einer Plattenumrandung durch Dübel und Senkschrauben ist eine weitere Variante. Ein horizontaler Ausgleich kann durch Unterlegen von entsprechendem Material geschaffen werden. Bei Veränderungen an der Umrandung des Schwimmbeckens lassen sich die einzelnen Längen der Abdeckung ohne deren Zerstörung leicht abnehmen und später erneut auf der Umrandung befestigen. Der zu der Wulst geformte erste Randbereich 3 dient zugleich als eine Schwallwasserkante und gibt durch das Hineinragen ins Schwimmbecken gerade sogenannten „Skimmerbecken" ein volles Erscheinungsbild.
