Abstract

The middle part (1) of the filter allows at least two positions (a) for the filter screen (2) inside it. In the top position (a) the screen lies flush with the top side of the middle part, and in the bottom position it forms a dirt retention region. The middle part is connected to an inlet channel (3).

Description

When using z. B. of rainwater in the household, the rainwater is over the roof caught, filtered and stored in a container. If necessary the water is then fed to the consumers via a pump.

Essential for the permanent functioning of such a rainwater harvesting system is the right filtering. In addition to removing the dirt from the Roof drain water itself, also plays the cleaning of the cistern water from the Surface dirt plays an important role. There are currently on the market different systems, which essentially fall into the two categories Have dirt-collecting and self-cleaning filters divided. In which self-cleaning filter, such as B. in DE 38 12 136 C2 and DE 694 08 254 that Water is drawn through a sieve from the inside out through adhesive forces and cleaned. A residual water content loaded with dirt is added further washed down. This filter has the disadvantage that with the flushed dirt freight the connected drainage device, for. B. an infiltration system that can become clogged. As a result of its great In practice, it is difficult to offset this height in one Integrate rainwater storage. Also a surface dirt cleaner Effect is not part of these filters. The dirt-retaining filters, e.g. B. described in utility model G 295 14 106 U1, have the disadvantage that they only enable the dirt retention function. None of these known filters also includes an integrated siphon to remove odors from the connected Withhold drainage system.

Vorteilhafte Wirkung der ErfindungAdvantageous effect of the invention

Depending on which drainage device is connected to the filter the filter can either be used as self-cleaning or as collecting become. In contrast to existing systems, this enables a special one flexible application. Especially if the drainage device in the Changes in the course of the operating time from the sewer connection to an infiltration system, this offers great advantages. Even if at different seasons dirt-retaining or self-cleaning function should be useful the filter can be easily changed. Another advantage is that the filter at the same time cleaning the surface water in the event of an overflow event. Due to the design, the edge used for this is particularly large compared to the overflows used in practice. This does one much better suction of the surface dirt layers. Optionally, in A siphon can also be integrated into the overflow of the filter to prevent odors the connected drainage system. The constructive Design of the filter enables a very small height difference between the inlet and drain, which is an easy installation of the filter in the rainwater tank or existing pipe systems.

Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention

An embodiment of the invention is explained in the drawing. The filter consists essentially of a central part ( 1 ), a filter screen ( 2 ), a channel ( 3 ) surrounding the central part with overflow edge or overflow slots ( 4 ) and, if necessary, a connected siphon ( 5 ). If the sieve is moved to the upper position a), the filter works self-cleaning. The roof drain water runs onto the screen surface, is filtered through the screen and then fed to the cistern. The dirt initially remains on the sieve surface and is washed into the surrounding sewer with a residual water content during heavy rainfall. From there, the dirt enters the drainage system via the siphon. If the rainwater storage tank overflows, the surface dirt is also flushed into the channel ( 3 ) with the overflow water via the overflow edge or the overflow slots ( 4 ) from where it continues to reach the drainage system via the siphon. If the sieve is brought into the lower position b), the dirt is collected in the chamber that is created. In the chamber there can be another basket in which the dirt falls and which can be easily removed from above, so that the filter is easy to clean. The overflow works in the same way as for the sieve position a).
