Es kommt immer wieder vor, daß Syphons an Waschbecken und Bade= wannen verstopft sind. Dies ist von Zeit zu Zeit gar nicht zu vermeiden und es kämmt daher, daß vom ablaufendem Schmutzwasser immer ein Rest im Syphon stehen bleibt, der ja auch den sogenann= ten Geruchverschluß herstellt. Es ist logisch, daß sich der in diesem stehenden Wasser enthaltene Schmutz und Seifenreste ab= setzen. Von immer wieder abfließendem Schmutzwasser kommen neue ablagerungen hinzu und so ist es unausbleiblich, daß eines Tages der Syphon so verschmutzt ist, daß ein einwandfreies Abfließen des Schmutzwassers nicht mehr möglich ist. Es ist dann üblich, mit einem halbkugel-ähnlichen hohlen Gummistößel, der über die Abflußöffnung gesetzt wird, Wasser in die Abflußleitung zu drücken und somit der im Syphon abgelagerte Söhmutz mit durch= gedruckt wird.
