Glocke in
Cistern for small or large drain rinsing. Cistern for small ones
or large drainage flushes are known. However, the known facilities require
expensive spring valves and other sealing means which can easily lead to malfunctions.
The invention has the purpose of providing a cistern for small or large waste flushing
without creating valves or other parts that cause an impairment
could. This purpose is achieved in that a
Bell in
their lower position with one reaching above the maximum water level in the main tank
Pipe section on the sealing edge that determines the amount of water for a small flush
of the downpipe socket sits tightly and hereby with its lower edge the inner wall
an auxiliary underwater container connected to the suction sleeve with a space in between
results through which the filling of the auxiliary container during suction
of the main container can not be sucked under the bell rim, so that
in the event of a major flush, the water remaining in the auxiliary tank will remove the outer seal
against sucking in of outside air.
In the drawing, Fig. Z shows the position in a vertical section
, the parts for the small flush and for initiating the large flush, and the
Fig. A the position of the parts in the altitude; which is also the end position
for the big flush is.
The inlet edge a of the downpipe socket b is arranged so that the amount of water in the cistern c above the edge a is that for the small flush. The nozzle b carries a suction sleeve f with ribs d , the lower edge g of which determines the amount of water for the large flush. According to the invention, the suction nozzle f is now from an auxiliary container h. and the body is designed as a bell i for simultaneous inner and outer sealing, which carries an extension G of the downpipe socket b with ribs h and rests in the lowest position with this extension on the sealing ring m, while at the same time its outer edge n the inner wall f ' des Auxiliary container la surrounds with so little play that the latter cannot be sucked out to the edge and, when flushing, the outer seal against air being sucked in is formed by the water in the auxiliary container, which cannot flow off over its inner edge.
With this device, the cistern comes into effect as follows
Starting from the position according to Fig. 2, the edge n of the bell i over the edge
o lifted and held high (fig. r), the water flows over o and a until its
Mirror has sunk to the level of a. Then the little rinse is over. Will
the bell i, on the other hand, is only raised for a short time and is neither lowered before the water level
has sunk below the margin n, which is raised above o, i.e. before there is air between (len margins
ii and o can be sucked directly into the downpipe b, the water flows
with the bell raised, as before, between n and o and over the edge a into the suction tube
into which it is after the downpipe extension l has been replaced on the
Sealing ring m, however, is still sucked up by siphon effect until the water level
has sunk to the edge g and from this air can be sucked in through the sleeve f
can. During the suction of the water through the sleeve f is through the gap
water is also sucked out of the auxiliary container 1a between n and f '. This gap
is, however, as mentioned, so narrow that the auxiliary container during suction
of the main container cannot be sucked out to the lowered edge n and that
water remaining in the auxiliary tank allows air to enter between n and f '
prevented and so results in the outer seal.
To achieve a large flush, the handle is pulled down and
immediately released while the little rinse while holding the pulled down
Handle until the water flow stops. After the flush is complete
the main tank and with it the auxiliary tank are refilled as usual
and then shut off the feed line by a float, not shown.
