Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a convertible Cargo area construction in freight wagons for carrying cargo in roll form. On the preamble of claim 1 referred.
Such a cargo bay construction is, for example, out of GB-1 266 689 became known. This publication describes a load-bearing container that consists of a Platform consists of the dimensions of a normal one Transport containers. The corners have standard corners Castings for handling the container, as well as conventional transport containers common. The corners of the Loading platforms have posts that allow the height to match those normal container can be adapted. The top ones too The ends of these posts have conventional corner fittings Castings. In this publication, the bottom of the mentioned container horizontal, relatively wide Edge areas, and on the oppositely arranged inner edges of these edge areas Hinge mechanism on which parts of wedge shape are articulated about the pivot axes in the longitudinal direction of the Platform are pivotable. These are wedge-shaped parts dimensioned so that when they fold down level floor between the edge areas at the height of the Edge areas of the platform is formed. Will this wedge-shaped parts pivoted outwards, so under released them an inclined wing; an area the wedge-shaped parts are then in her External extension when the wedge-shaped parts on the Rest edge areas. This will make one in Longitudinal trough on the platform educated. This trough can be wound goods like rolls, take up. The V-shaped trough carries them in the transverse direction the platform. This creates a trough in the platform then formed when the wedge pieces to the sides of the car be raised. For an alternative use, a level ground to carry other goods when the wedge-shaped parts towards the center of the car be lowered. As other goods mentioned this Documentation packaging container or the like as Containers for food. The construction according to this Documentation has numerous disadvantages. Do you want that Platform according to the document for carrying use bulk bulk goods such as scrap, so must the platform side walls are assigned to what in the Document is not detailed. This is complex and expensive. For example, should waste on the Platform are transported according to that document, so remains remain, which later became the surfaces of roll-like material such as steel tape rolls or the like can damage if these subsequently into the troughs be set. The trough construction for rollers can also easily damaged if other goods are transported as rolls, for example when loading and unloading heavy scrap. The scrap is by means of a digger or a magnet that removes one flat firm ground required.
The invention has for its object a convertible To create cargo hold construction that the above Does not have disadvantages, and which is particularly suitable for Application for the products of a rolling mill. In the Use by a rolling mill becomes steel scrap, that is heavy, bulky goods, often transported to the rolling mill, while rolls of steel strip and / or long steel products such as bars, profiles and pipes from the steel mill be transported away. Accordingly, the invention is the Based on the task of creating a cargo hold construction, which is both suitable for finished goods like Steel tape rolls or rod-shaped products too transport, as well as bulky goods, such as scrap. Furthermore, the invention is based on the object to create such cargo space structure that is easy convert from one type of cargo hold to another leaves to meet the respective requirements. Here the conversion from one type of use to the others, however, no additional special components demand, but essentially by rearranging or move existing parts. Farther the construction should be created in such a way that Components that act as a load-bearing platform for roll-shaped goods or rod-shaped goods are not used accumulate such particles that the surfaces of the finished goods to damage; rather, these components are meant to to a certain extent be self-cleaning or easy to clean. Furthermore, the construction should be such that the individual construction parts are not damaged, for example when loading or unloading scrap Grab excavators or magnets. After all, the Cargo compartment construction of this type from the transport vehicle be removable so that it can easily be attached to a vehicle can be put on and taken off again, for example on a freight wagon.
This task is characterized by the features of Claim 1 solved.
The main advantage that results from the invention consists in that the cargo hold construction according to the Invention can be converted without being essential Structural components are brought in from elsewhere need to roll or rod-shaped Products and bulky products such as bulk goods to transport. Another advantage is that the construction is simple and stable, and it is not damaged even when charging and Unloading procedures are used, which are common at Steel waste, the cargo hold construction of the Exposure to large forces. Will continue achieved by the invention the advantage that those surfaces the cargo hold construction, which with roll - shaped or rod-shaped finished products come into contact, easily are to be kept clean and that the surfaces of these products not be damaged.
Erfindung ist anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Darin ist im einzelnen folgendes dargestellt:Invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. The following is shown in detail:
FIG. 2 shows cargo hold structures according to the invention, positioned on a railroad car, for the transport of bulky goods such as bulk goods, in the same representation as FIG. 1.
FIG. 3 shows the cargo hold construction according to the invention, positioned on a railroad car, suitable for carrying bulky goods, in a top view of the freight car in direction II in FIG. 2.
FIG. 4 shows, on a larger scale, a cross section of another side of the cargo hold construction according to the invention according to level III-III in FIG. 3.
Figs. 1 to 3 show an embodiment of the invention, in which the freight space structure 1 is an independent and detachable unit that is to be placed on the substructure of the vehicle. In this case, the transport vehicle is a railway wagon 22 , specifically one for receiving containers. Such a trolley is well suited for the intended application, since the specific weight of steel is high and because the load can be relatively low and narrow even with high permissible axle weights, for example when transporting rod-shaped products 6 or windings 5 and when transporting from scrap 7 . According to the invention, the cargo space construction is chosen, at least in relation to its external dimensions, that is to say in relation to the length T and the width B, according to the dimensions of container standards. In this case, the cargo space construction has container corner castings 23 at least at its lower corners according to the standards. Through these castings, the cargo hold is attached to the substructure of the rail car 22 in a manner known per se. Such railway wagons are dimensioned such that they can carry either two or three sea transport containers. In this case, the length of the freight section of the freight wagon is of the order of 12 m or 18 m in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, longer freight wagons are shown with three convertible cargo space constructions 1 according to the invention, with a length T and a width B. according to sea transport containers. If the dimensions shown are also to be preferred, other dimensions and other fastening means can also be selected. Of course, the cargo hold construction can also be a structural component of the vehicle, so that it cannot be removed but is firmly connected to the vehicle substructure.
Fig. 1 shows how a convertible cargo space structure 1 according to the invention can be used if it has a first floor structure P1 for carrying wrap-shaped cargo 5 , such as steel strips, or rod-shaped products 6 , such as profiles or pipes. Figs. 2 and 3 show the freight space structure according to the invention in an alternate use. Here, the cargo hold is provided with side walls to form a second substructure P2, for carrying bulky goods 7 such as scrap metal.
For the purpose of this convertibility, the cargo hold construction 1 according to the invention contains a fixed base part 3 which has at least approximately a flat upper surface 8 and two mutually opposite outer edges 4 a and 4 b, the length T and the width B of the latter. In general, the mentioned outer edges 4 a and 4 b are the sides parallel to the length T of the base part 3 , but other embodiments are also conceivable in certain cases. The cargo space construction also contains a plurality of trough sections 2 which can be pivoted about horizontal pivot axes, on the one hand to form a trough-shaped floor configuration P1 which is provided with inclined side surfaces and on the other hand an approximately flat floor configuration P2. The number of trough sections 2 can vary, and the figures show an embodiment in which 4 trough sections are arranged along the entire length of the sea transport container to accommodate four packages of products. It goes without saying that the number of trough sections depends on the outer dimensions of the cargo hold construction in each individual case, and also on the outer diameter of the rolls to be transported. For example, only two trough sections 2 can be provided, or considerably more than the four shown.
The trough sections 2 according to the invention are essentially made up of uniform components. Their thickness S is considerably less than any of their subsequent dimensions, namely the length L or the width W. The trough sections 2 are thus relatively flat parts, so that they have a maximum thickness S of one third the length L of the trough sections in a direction parallel to Trough carries, or a maximum of a third of its width. This maximum dimension is based on the fact that if the thickness S were too great, the loading volume would be unnecessarily restricted if the trough sections were pivoted into a vertical position in order to create space for bulky goods 7 in the central parts 12 of the cargo space construction. However, the thickness S of the trough sections is at least about a twelfth of the length L of the trough sections, or a twelfth of the width W of the trough sections. This is due to the following fact: If the trough sections 2 are brought into the horizontal position, namely into the position P1, in order to receive roll-like products, the height of the trough sides, that is to say the depth D of the trough shape, must be sufficiently dimensioned to be one To prevent movement of the rollers due to accelerations and decelerations during transport. The thickness S of the trough sections 2 is of the order of magnitude between one eighth and one quarter of the length L and the width W of the trough sections. The thickness of the trough sections is typically 200 to 300 mm. For the two reasons mentioned, the depth D of the trough is as close as possible to the thickness S of the trough section, so that the trough sections are as thin as possible and at the same time are as suitable as possible for carrying products in roll form. Trough section 2 is furthermore preferably completely or almost completely gapless in the direction of its thickness S, so that gapless sides are achieved for the cargo hold construction when the trough sections are raised into the vertical position, a cargo hold P2 having an approximately flat floor surface being obtained. In addition, there is no obstacle to providing the trough sections with small holes, for example for draining water.
With this construction according to the invention, the thickness S of the continuous trough sections 2 is thus limited to two surfaces arranged opposite one another. The first surface 10 is concave for cylindrical products in roll form, and the second surface 11 is at least approximately flat. In the case of spherical products, the concave surface could be spherical-concave. In practice, however, this happens so rarely that it is not necessary to design trough sections especially for this. Thus, in practice, the trough sections are generally cylindrical-concave. The concave first surface 10 and the flat second surface 11 , which lies opposite the first, can for example be made of sheet metal such as metal strips which are fastened to one another, for example along the edges 24 a, 24 b, 25 a, 25 b of the trough section any method known per se. The edges of the concave surface 10 , which run parallel to the longitudinal direction L of the trough and are arranged at a distance equal to the trough thickness S from the flat surface 11 , rest on the remaining trough section region either by means of the edges 24 a and 24 b, which extend in the longitudinal direction L of the trough, or by means of wedge-shaped sections that run perpendicular thereto, between the first surface 10 and the second surface 11 , or by means of both measures. It goes without saying that the trough sections 2 of this shape can thus be constructed in very different ways, which requires normal manufacturing (welding) work. For this reason, the internal structure of the trough sections is not described in detail.
Each trough section 2 with a cylindrically concave first surface 10 , whose longitudinal direction of the cylindrical shape is provided with the reference symbol L, has edges 24 a, 24 b which run parallel to this longitudinal direction, furthermore edges 25 a, 25 b which are perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L of the trough run. Each trough section 2 is fastened to one of its edges 25 b perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L on the floor section 3 of the cargo hold structure 1 by means of hinges 19 in the region of the outer edges 4 a, 4 b of the floor section. In this case, the trough sections can be pivoted into the vertical position P2 by means of the hinges 19 , the pivot axes 9 of which run parallel to the outer edges 4 a and 4 b of the base section, and can also be shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. This creates a space with a flat floor, formed by the upper surface 8 of the floor section 3 in the central areas 12 of the cargo space construction. This vertical position P2 of the trough sections is shown in Fig. 4 with solid lines. Conversely, the trough sections can be pivoted about the pivot axis 9 of these hinges 19 into the horizontal position, as shown in FIG. 1, and indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 4; the concave first surface 10 of the trough section then points upwards. In this case, the trough sections serve as trough-shaped bottom forms P1, provided with inclined side surfaces, so that coil-shaped or roll-shaped products 5 can rest thereon. The number of trough-shaped bottom shapes is substantially the same as the number of trough sections. Since the length L of the trough shape also runs transversely to the length T of the cargo space construction, it is possible to also support rod-shaped products 6 on this floor shape P1, since the width W of the trough sections is small compared to the length of the rod-shaped products 6 . Thus, rod-shaped products lie on a sufficiently flat base, which are formed by the upper points of the concave first surfaces.
As can be seen from these figures, the trough sections 2 , and in particular the surfaces 10 and 11 delimiting them, are arranged such that when the trough section is arranged in a horizontal position, the concave first surface faces upwards and the opposite, approximately flat second Surface 11 abuts the upper surface 8 of the bottom section 3 . If the trough sections about the pivot axes 9 , arranged in the region of the outer edges 4 a, 4 b of the bottom section, are pivoted into the vertical position, then the concave first surface 10 points outwards in relation to the cargo space construction, and the second surface 11 which lies opposite the first, faces the central area 12 of the cargo hold structure 1 and delimits the cargo hold for bulk goods 7 . In this way, the concave first surface 10 is not in contact with bulk goods, and is also in this loading mode P2 in a vertical position so that it remains clean. If necessary, this concave first surface can also be cleaned while it is in the vertical position and / or if necessary it can be raised to the vertical position for the purpose of cleaning.
If the trough sections 2 are in the lower position and form a bottom configuration P1, which includes troughs, as in FIG. 1, the troughs extend as continuous, trough-like first surfaces essentially over the entire width B of the bottom section 3 . These trough sections 2 are best divided along the longitudinal center line 26 of the cargo hold structure into two equally large and mirror-symmetrical sections. In this case, the length L of each trough section in the direction of the trough is of the order of half the width B of the bottom section. These two mirror-symmetrical trough sections 2 a and 2 b are thus in such a horizontal position that their longitudinal directions L represent continuations from one another in order to create a trough-shaped bottom shape. They are also articulated on the bottom portion 3 in the areas of their mutually opposite outer edges 4 a and 4 b, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. The exact length L of these mirror-symmetrical trough sections 2 a and 2 b in relation to the bottom section width B depends in a given embodiment on the distance of the pivot axes 9 from the outer edges 4 a and 4 b of the bottom section 3 . In this embodiment, it is possible to create troughs which extend over the entire width of the bottom section when the trough sections are lowered, and to obtain gapless sides of the bottom sections when the trough sections 2 are swung up into the vertical position.
Fig. 4 shows in more detail the hinge attachment of the trough sections and their pivoting mechanism. The pivot axes of the hinges 19 of the trough sections are best at a maximum distance E1, indicated by the thickness S of the trough sections, from the corresponding outer edges 4 a or 4 b of the bottom section against the central parts 12 of the bottom. In this case, it is very simple to arrange the outer points of the first surfaces of the trough sections in such a way that they are located in the same vertical plane as the outer edges 4 a, 4 b of the bottom section 3 . These swivel axes 9 are also best at a maximum distance E2, indicated by the thickness of the trough sections, from the upper surface 8 of the bottom section, either upwards or downwards, in which case it is easy, the flat second surface 11 of FIG To let trough sections rest on the upper surface 8 of the bottom section in its lowered position P1, so that at the same time no gaps arise between the trough parts raised to the vertical position and the bottom section 3 . These extreme positions P1 and P2 can also be achieved with a different positioning of the pivot axis 9 , but then the structure becomes somewhat more complicated and somewhat more expensive.
As mentioned above, the hinges 19 of the trough sections are arranged on the opposite outer sides 4 a and 4 b of the cargo space construction, further in such a way that the pivot axes 9 in this longitudinal direction T of mutually adjacent trough sections 2 represent mutual continuations, and that the Trough direction L runs perpendicular to these swivel axes. The cargo hold construction according to the invention thus comprises a vertical end wall 15 at least at one of its ends 14 a or 14 b perpendicular to the long sides. The end walls are best removable so that they can be removed between successively arranged cargo space structures, as shown in FIG. 1. In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, therefore, only the ends of the outermost cargo space constructions facing away from one another have end walls 15 , on which trough sections 2 , which are folded up into the vertical position P2, can be locked, as a result of which a continuous space is formed, composed of three cargo space constructions. Fig. 2 shows a continuous side wall formed by trough sections according to this situation. Of course, if necessary, an end wall can also be used at those ends of the cargo space construction which abut one another, as illustrated by reference number 16 in FIG. 3. In this case, each cargo bay construction forms its own independent room 12 . The removability of the end walls 15 , 16 makes it possible to use cargo compartments for different loads and for loads of different dimensions in a flexible manner. Of course, fixed ends can also be used.
The trough sections 2 can in principle be pivoted into the vertical position P2 and lowered into the horizontal position P1 by any method known per se. It could also be done using external devices located at the loading or unloading point. However, it is best to house the swivel mechanism in the cargo bay construction itself. Such a swivel mechanism can be formed from a hydraulic or pneumatic lifting system or corresponding actuators 17 , which are arranged in the bottom section 3 , preferably of a thickness C. The direction of action 18 of such an actuator 17 usually runs parallel to the upper surface of the bottom section, that is, the plane 8 of the bottom section, and perpendicular to the pivot axes 9 of the hinges. A lever 20 is provided between the moving component 28 of such an actuator 17 and trough part 2 , which in this case consists of an extension of the trough section 2 on the opposite side of its pivot axis 9 , the extension being articulated to the actuator part 28 , which is articulated moved in the direction of action 18 . If the direction of action 18 of the actuator extends from the central parts 12 of the cargo hold construction against the outer edge 4 a or 4 b, the trough section swivels in the horizontal direction P1, indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 4, and forms a trough-shaped bottom configuration. If the direction of action 18 extends from the outer edge 4 a or 4 b to the central parts 12 of the cargo hold section, the trough section pivots from the horizontal position into the vertical position P2, as illustrated by solid lines in FIG. 4, a cargo hold with a flat one Soil configuration for bulk goods is created.
In particular in order to protect the surface of a load of roll form, it is expedient to provide the concave first surface of the trough sections 2 with an at least somewhat elastic protective coating 21 which also protects these surfaces against corrosion. Wood, plastic, especially polyurethane or other materials can be used as protection. It was said above that the upper surface 8 of the bottom section 3 is flat, like the second flat surface of the trough section 2 . However, this definition does not necessarily mean an absolutely flat shape. The surfaces can have, for example, stiffening ribs or grooves, as long as their height in the direction of the thickness C of the bottom section and in the direction of the thickness S of the trough section is small compared to the depth D of the trough shape.
