Description

  • "Verfahren zum Verbinden von Sandwich-Elementen, insbesondere im Karosserie-Bau, und Sandwich-Element zur Durchführung des Verfahrens' Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Verbinden von Sandwich-Elementen sowie aW ein zur Durchführung des Verfahrens geeignetes Sandwich-Element. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren und die zur Durchführung desselben Verwendung findenden Elemente eignen sich vor allem zur Anwendung bei der Konstruktion und Herstellung von auf Sandwich-Elementen basierenden Karosserien. In diesem Anwendungsfall besteht das Problem vor allem in der einfachen und haltbaren Zusammenfügung der Elemente. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung geht demgemäß in erster Linie dahin, auf einfachem Weg eine verläßlich haltbare Verbindung zwischen den einzelnen Sandwich-Elementen zu schaffen. Weiterhin sollen erfindungsgemäß Ansätze gebildet werden, die in der fertigen Konstruktion, also z. B. einer Karosserie, das Tragwerk bilden. Erfindungsgemäß wird dies dadurch erreicht, daß ein mit einer mit Polyester angefeuchteten Glasmatte umwickeltes Schlauch-oder sackförmiges Gebilde zwischen den zu verbindenden Elementen angebracht und zur Herstellung einer flächenmäßigen Berührung zwischen der Glasmatte und den Elementen aufgeweitet wird. Erfindungsgemäß werden die Elemente zusammengeschoben und unter Druck gesetzt, wobei in das schlauch- oder sackförmige Gebilde Luft unter gewissem Druck eingedrückt wird. Nach erfolgter Aushärtung des Polyesters wird die schlauch-bzw. sackförmige Umhüllung entfernt und der so gebildete Hohlraum mit aufgeschäumtem Kunststoff ausgefüllt. Um eine einwandfrei haltbare und gute Verbindung zwischen der Glasmatte und den Elementen zu gewährleisten, sind die erfindungsgemäßen Sandwich-Elemente derart an ihren Ansatzkanten ausgespart, daß das Kernmaterial in einem Abstand von den Ansatzkanten der Elemente endet. Ein wesentlicher zu der einfachen Durchführung der Arbeits-
    vorgänge hinzukommender Vorteil des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens
    besteht darin, daß die in den aus Glasfasern bestehenden Kanälen
    erstarrende Masse so ausreichend dimens.i:@@iez-+ werden kann, daß
    in der fertigen Konstruktion ein Tran:@.r.: .,;n ii.)he":q Belastungsver-
    mögen gebildet wird.
    In den beigefügten Zeichnungen sind Ausführungsbeispiele von Sandwich-Elementen zur Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens wiedergegeben. Es zeigen: Fig. 1 den Grundriß eines Sandwich-Elementes in ebener Form, Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach Linie II-II der Fig. 1, Fig. 3 einen Schnitt durch ein Eckprofil, Fig. 4 einen Schnitt durch ein Türrahmenprofil, Fig. 5 einen Schnitt durch einen Ansatz vor dem Zusammen-Fig. 6 einen Schnitt durch den gleichen in Fig. 5 dargestellten Ansatz nach erfolgtem Zusammenfügen, Fig.7 einen Schnitt durch eine mit Hilfe der erfindungsgemäß ausgebildeten Sandwich-Elemente aufgebaute Karosseriewand. Das in Fig. 1 dargestellte Sandwich-Element ist ein gewöhnliches Standardelement. Es baut sich auf aus einem Kern 1 und aus zwei Deckplatten 2 resp. 3. Das Kernmaterial, z. B. steifes Polyurethan, wird zwischen die beiden Platten eingeschäumt. Letztere bestehen aus Werkstoff beliebiger Art, vorzugsweise jedoch einem solchen, der ein gewisses Haftvermögen gegenüber aufgeschäumtem Kunststoff verbürgt, Ein solches Material ist z. B. glasfaserarmierter Polyester. Fig. 3 zeigt den Aufbau eines Eckprofils mit einem Kern 4 und zwei Deckplatten Sresp.6. Fig. 4 zeigt den Aufbau eines Türrahmenprofils, das aus einem Kern 7 und einer Deckplatte 8 besteht. Wie die Figuren 2, 3 und 4 zeigen, ist an den Ansatzkanten der einzelnen Elemente das Kernmaterial 1, 4,7 zurückgesetzt, so daß der Zusammenfügung dienende Nuten 9 bzw, 10 bzw. 11 entstehen. Der Zweck dieser Zusammenfügungsnuten ergibt sich aus der weiter uni. ten gegebenen näheren Erläuterung über die Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens. Die Figuren 5 und 6 illistrieren das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zum Verbinden von zwei Sandwich-Elementen, z. B. der in den Fig. 1 und 2 gezeigten Bauart. Zwischen die beiden Eleazente, die zusammengefügt werden sollen, wird ein Gummischlauch 12 gelegt. Um den Gummischlauch ist eine Glasmatte 13 gewickelt, die mit Polyester angefeuchtet ist. Die zusammenzufügenden Elemente werden, wie die Pfeile in Fig, 5 andeuten, zusammengeschoben, bis sie die in Fig. 6 gezeigte Stellung zueinander eingenommen haben. Die Elemente werden, wie die Pfeile in Fig. 6 andeuten, unter Druck gesetzt, indem der Gummischlauch mit Luft von wünschenswertem Druck gefüllt wird. Der Gummischlauch weitet sich dadurch aus und die um ihn gewickelte Glasmatte kommt dadurch in Flächenberührung mit den Deckplatten 1, 2 sowie der Kernmasse 3. Nach Aushärtung des Polyesters wird der Schlauch 12 entfernt. Der gebildete Kanal 14 (Fig. 7) wird mit verschäumtem Kunststoff verfüllt.
  • In Fig. 7 'ist ein Schnitt durch eine fertige Wand gezeigt, die unter Einsatz von Sandwich-Elementen gebildet ist, die in der erfindungsgemäßen Art und Weise gestaltet und nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren miteinander in Verbund gebracht worden sind. Die in den Ansätzen gebildeten Kanäle aus Glasfaser stellen das Tragwerk der Konstruktion dar und verleihen daher der gesamten Konstruktion eine erhebliche Stabilität.

Claims (1)

  1. Patentansprüchen Verfahren zum Verbinden von Sandwich-Elementen,, insbesondere im Karosseriebau, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein mit einer mit Polyester angefeuchteten Glasmatte umwickeltes schlauch-oder sackförmiges Gebilde zwischen den zu verbindenden Elementen angebracht und zur Herstellung einer flächenmäßigen Verbindung zwischen der Glasmatte und den Elementen entsprechend aufgeweitet wird. 2.) Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Elemente zusammengeschoben und unter Druck gesetzt werden, wobei das schlauch- oder sackförmige Gebilde mit unter einem gewissen wünschenswerten Druck stehender Luft gefüllt wird. 3.) Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das schlauch- oder sackförmige Gebilde nach Aushärten des Polyesters entfernt und der entstandene Kanal mit einem aufgeschäumten Kunststoff verfüllt wird. 4.) Sandwich-Element zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Kernmaterial in einigem Abstand von den Ansatzkanten der Elemente endet.
