Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a building opening-closing element, in particular a window, facade element or door, which is designed to close an opening between a first side of the room - called outside side I - and a second side of the room - called inside side II - according to the preamble of claim 1.

Windows, doors and/or facade elements are known from the prior art, the frame profiles of which can be provided with wooden decorative elements. This gives the user greater flexibility when selecting the frame surfaces. This makes it possible to optically adapt the window frames to other elements of the interior design (e.g. interior doors/floors/furnishings).

For example, wood can be subjected to sorption processes and change its geometry accordingly, for example bulging slightly.

The disadvantage of the solutions from the prior art is that this wood property is not sufficiently taken into account, so that there can be undesired bulging of the wooden decorative elements or equally undesired gaps between the wooden decorative elements and the frame profile due to shrinkage.

According to a known prior art, this is promoted by two parallel webs between which the decorative element is inserted, the two webs acting like two fixed bearings, so that dimensional changes caused by sorption processes are thereby impeded or lead to undesirable joints. Furthermore, this construction makes it difficult to mount the decorative elements, which often cannot be done precisely enough due to the two webs, which also leads to optical impairments.

The object of the present invention is therefore to create an automatically rotatable, tiltable and/or sliding building opening-closing element, such as a window, a door and/or a facade element, in which this problem is minimized.

The invention achieves this object by the subject matter of independent claim 1. Advantageous embodiments can be taken from the dependent claims.

Accordingly, a building opening/closing element is created, in particular a window, facade element or door, which is designed to be able to close and open an opening between a first side of the room - called outside side I - and a second side of the room - called inside side II - and which has at least the following features has: a blind frame composed of several frame profiles, a casement composed of several frame profiles, which is movable relative to the blind frame, and which has a surface element that has or forms a main plane, the frame profiles of the casement and/or the blind frame each having one Support section have parallel to the main plane of the surface element, wherein on the respective support section of the casement and / or the frame - so either on the casement or on the frame or on both frames - a decorative strip is attached. This building opening/closing element is characterized in that the respective decorative strip is applied to only a single contact web of the associated frame profile on which it is placed. It is preferably applied to this contact web over its entire length (possibly up to its ends, which can adjoin other further decorative strips in a joint area, which will be described further on). It can be created there directly. But it can also be provided, for example, an adhesive such as glue between it and the contact bar.

In this way, the one or more decorative strips can be mounted precisely, particularly advantageously, so that the formation of gaps can also be largely avoided in this respect. An essentially peripheral frame made of decorative strips can be created, which can then be delimited by an analogous peripheral contact bar.

In addition, a building opening/closing element is preferably created in which the sorption processes of wood can be compensated for, so that undesirable bulging of the decorative strip due to swelling or equally undesirable gaps between the decorative strips and the frame profile due to shrinkage cannot usually occur .

If a feature of a decorative strip and/or a feature of the frame profile on which it is placed is described below or in the claims, the respective feature can preferably also be provided circumferentially on all sides of the casement or window frame.

First of all, in an optional development, it can be particularly advantageously provided that the respective decorative strip, which is applied to a respective single contact web of the associated frame profile on which it is placed, also is placed on a support web of the associated frame profile, which protrudes from the support section. Alternatively, however, it could also itself have such a support web, which would then protrude from it in the direction of the support surface and can rest on the support section.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the respective decorative strip is/are attached to the first and/or second side of the room or the interior side and/or the exterior side. The decorative strips can preferably be provided around the window or on three sides (in the case of a door).

As a result, the user can be offered a great deal of flexibility when selecting the frame surfaces, both inside and/or outside. As a result, both visible sides of the frame can be equipped inside and outside or only parts of them with a visually advantageous decorative strip.

In a further particularly preferred embodiment variant, it can be provided that the contact web is formed on an inner edge or on an outer edge of the support area—ie toward the surface element or on the side of the respective frame profile that faces away from it. As a result, the contact side of the decorative strip can advantageously be freely selected - e.g. purely according to optical aspects.

According to a further particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it can advantageously be provided that the support bar is attached to the edge of the support section that is opposite the contact bar. This results in a simple structural measure and advantageous flexibility with regard to the contact side of the decorative strip.

It can advantageously be provided that the respective support section is formed as the outside of a web which is formed on the respective frame profile of the casement and which completely or partially overlaps the window frame in the manner of a block window construction. Here, the respective decorative strip arrangement can be used in an optically particularly advantageous manner, since there are correspondingly large areas for arranging the decorative strips. Analogously, the respective support section can advantageously be designed as the outside of a web, which is designed on the respective frame profile of the window frame and which completely or partially overlaps the sash frame in the manner of a block window construction.

In a particularly preferred embodiment variant of the invention, it can be provided that the support section and the contact web form a fixed bearing with respect to a direction of movement of the decorative strip parallel to the support section. As a result, a defined deformation direction for the decorative strip is defined in a structurally simple manner.

According to a further particularly preferred embodiment variant of the invention, it can be provided that the window frame has a (further) bearing surface which is aligned perpendicularly to the bearing section and faces the planar element. With this "additional" support surface, a kind of "additional visible surface" can also be provided with a decorative strip in a structurally simple manner, as a result of which the visual impression of the building opening/closing element can be further influenced and optimized.

According to a further particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it can be provided that the support section and the support web form a type of limited floating bearing in relation to a direction of movement of the decorative strip parallel to the support web - e.g.: in relation to expansion or contraction. As a result, such movements of the decorative strip can be compensated for by a simple design measure, particularly in conjunction with the fixed bearing described above, preferably formed by the contact bar.

Accordingly, it can be provided that the respective decorative strip is a wooden decorative strip. This makes it possible to optically adapt the window frames to other elements of the interior design (e.g. interior doors/floors/furnishings). However, the decorative strips can also be made from a different material, e.g. from plastic or from a metal. They can also consist of several different materials.

The frame profiles are preferably made of metal, in particular aluminum or steel, at least in the area of the support sections on which the decorative strips rest. You can also consist of another material such as plastic in this area. More details are explained in the description of the figures.

In a particularly preferred and visually appealing as well as functionally advantageous embodiment variant of the invention, it is provided that the respective decorative strip has a rectangular cross-section with two broad sides and two narrow sides and that the decorative strip has a decorative side as one broad side, which faces interior side II or exterior side I is aligned towards, and as the other broadside a Befes tion side has, with which the decorative strip (5) is attached.

It can then further advantageously be provided—preferably—that the decorative strip rests with its narrow side on the contact bar—preferably over its entire strip length—and that it preferably has the height of the contact bar so that it is aligned with it in a visually appealing and functionally advantageous manner.

As an alternative to a decorative strip with a rectangular cross section, according to a further particularly preferred embodiment variant, the decorative strip can be designed at an angle in cross section to its strip direction and has a first leg and a second leg. As a result, both a main visible surface on the respective side of the room and a secondary visible surface at an angle thereto on a frame of the building opening-closing element can be provided together with a single decorative element.

According to a further particularly preferred embodiment variant of the invention, it can be provided that the first leg of the angular decorative element is attached to the support section via its attachment side and the second leg of the angular decorative element is attached to a support side of the frame profile via its attachment side. As a result, a decorative element, both a main visible surface and a secondary visible surface, can be attached to a frame of the building opening/closing element in a structurally simple manner.

In another particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the support side has a contact web that extends perpendicular to the outside. As a result, a defined system of the decorative element is created in a structurally simple manner.

Provision can also be made for the decorative strip to be bonded on its one broad side and/or its fastening side by at least one adhesive applied to the support section and/or the support side, preferably by at least one or more preferably foamed adhesive carriers and preferably further adhesive as Adhesive attached to the web on which it is/will be attached.

It is also advantageous if, in a further particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the decorative element is fastened via a fastening side by at least one preferably foamed adhesive carrier applied to the bearing section and/or the bearing side and preferably further adhesive . This results in a structurally simple flexible element that can elastically at least partially absorb the deformation of the decorative element by sorption processes without the attachment of the decorative element being damaged on the frame or even completely loosened by the sorption processes. Provision can also be made particularly advantageously for the decorative strip to be attached to the web by two adhesive carriers which are provided at a distance from one another. Instead of one or more adhesive carriers, Velcro strips that can be brought together could also be attached to the decorative strip and the profile.

Furthermore, in another particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the height of the support bar is selected such that the foamed adhesive carrier(s) is/are flush with a free end of the support bar, so that the support bar is completely covered by the decorative element is. This results in a visually appealing design of the frame to which the decorative element is applied.

It is also advantageous that, according to advantageous variants, a joint between two abutting decorative elements is designed as a butt joint or as a miter joint. As a result, the decorative element can be adapted to the joints of the frame profiles. However, other shock types can also be implemented.

The object is also achieved by independent claim 20. The characterizing feature of claim 20 can be regarded as a further development of claims 1 to 19 and alternatively also as an independent invention.

Accordingly, it is provided that the decorative strip is divided into at least two sections on one side of the casement, with the two sections forming a gap between them and with a rosette with a handle being arranged in the gap. This results in an attractive appearance of the sash frame, also in the area of a handle, in particular of the sash element, the rosette of which is particularly advantageously integrated into the decorative strip arrangement and, for example, does not rest on it. In this way, the look of the grand piano is marked. The gap may extend through the entire trim strip, so that it is divided into two completely separate parts, or it may only extend through part of the height of the trim strip, creating a sort of parallelepiped-shaped recess that extends downwards from a is limited to the non-visible part of the decorative strip. According to a particularly preferred embodiment variant, it can be provided that the rosette has a rectangular cross-section and that its width corresponds to that of the decorative strip in which it is inserted. As a result, the rosette is integrated in a structurally simple manner between two decorative strip parts or sections.

According to a further particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it can be provided that the height of the decorative strip is dimensioned in such a way that the decorative strip is flush with the surface of the rosette. This also results in an attractive appearance. However, the rosette can also be somewhat flatter or higher.

It is also provided in a further particularly preferred embodiment of the invention that the rosette is made of a metallic material such as steel or aluminum. This results in a robust rosette with an attractive appearance.

The term "guiding surface" used below is to be understood as a surface that deprives a body of translational degrees of freedom in space until the body only has the desired degrees of freedom of movement. A body in space generally has three translational degrees of freedom. Rotational degrees of freedom are not relevant here.

The terms "floating bearing" and "fixed bearing" used below refer to the reduction of the degrees of freedom of movement described above in the bearing point. With a fixed bearing, one or more translatory movements are prevented, while a floating bearing allows a translatory movement within a limited framework - for example example due to the expansion or bulging of a component - is still permitted.

1 shows a building opening-closing element, which is designed here as a window. However, the invention is not limited to building opening/closing elements designed as windows, but also includes doors and facade elements.

The window has a peripheral frame 1 . This is composed of several profiles - window frame profiles 10 - to form a frame, in particular a rectangular shape. One of the frame profiles on a door can be designed as a threshold.

On the frame 1 relative to the frame 1 movable wing is arranged. The wing has a preferably peripherally closed wing frame 2 and an inserted into the wing frame 2 and received by this surface element 3 such as a glazing. The surface element 3 extends parallel to or in a plane that extends from the X and Y axes of the coordinate system in 1 is stretched. Between the window frame 1 and the casement 2 or their frame profiles 10, 20, a preferably circumferential frame rebate space F is formed in the respective exemplary embodiments. This frame rebate space F essentially extends between the outer circumference of the sash frame 2 and the inner circumference of the window frame 1.

The window is used to be able to close and open a room opening in a building (not shown here), with a room I (e.g. an exterior side of a building) being separated from a room II (e.g. an interior side of the building). Alternatively, it can also be an interior space, in which case both interior spaces are separated from one another, e.g. by a door.

In the following, the terms "frame profile 10" and "frame 1" as well as "sash frame profile 20" and "sash frame 2" are also used interchangeably in this respect. Because the means and configurations discussed below can each preferably be formed circumferentially or in sections on the window frame 1 or on the casement 2 . You can only ever be formed on one of the corresponding frame profiles 10, 20 of the casement 2 and the frame 1 or be formed on several of the corresponding frame profiles 10, 20 of the casement 2 and the frame 1. Furthermore, they can be formed on the exterior side I or on the interior side II. In the following they are embodied as an example on the interior side II.

In the 2a 1 is a window frame profile, designated by the reference numeral 10, and a sash frame profile, designated by the reference numeral 20, of a respective vertical window frame spar and sash frame spar of the window 1 shown. A coordinate system in 2a serves for further orientation. The wing is shown here in a closed position. The frame rebate space F is formed between the frame profile 10 and the casement profile 20 .

The frame profile 10 is designed here as a composite profile. It can have an inner metal shell 101 and an outer metal shell 102, which are connected to one another here by one or more insulating webs 103, 104 in a thermally insulating manner.

The casement profile 20 is also designed here as a composite profile and also has an inner metal shell 201 to which an insulating strip 202 is attached. The inner metal shell 201 can have one or more hollow chambers. The casement profile can have additional levels such as an additional metal shell level or the like (not shown here).

The casement frame 2 overlaps the frame 1 in the closed state with a web 2010, which preferably extends parallel to the main plane of the surface element 3, through the X-axis and through the Y-axis of the coordinate system tems in 1 is stretched out or is parallel to it.

Towards room II, this web 2010 has a support section 2011, ie a section on which a decorative element, in particular a decorative strip 5, can be applied. In the exemplary embodiment shown, such a decorative strip 5 is also applied to the support section 2011 of the web 2010 .

In addition, the blind frame 1 can also largely overlap the casement 2 with a web 1010 . A “block window” is then formed overall. The web 1010 also preferably extends parallel to the main plane of the surface element 3. This results in an appealing visual impression of the building opening/closing element, since the leaf frame 2 in particular is in the visible area. This web 1010 also has a support section 1011, ie a section on which a decorative element, in particular a decorative strip 5, could be applied. Here, however, no such decorative element is applied to this web 1010 by way of example.

The inner metal shell 201 of the casement profile 20 also has on its side facing away from the frame rebate space F, parallel to the plane of the surface element 3 - ie the main visible surface of the casement profile 20 - a or the support section 2011. This is formed on the web 2010 which extends parallel to the main plane of the surface element 3 .

On its side facing the frame rebate space F, the web 2010 can have a groove on an outer edge AK, in which a sealing profile 204 can be fastened that seals the frame rebate space F against the interior side II.

A decorative element, which is designed as a decorative strip 5 , is applied to the support section 2011 of the web 2010 .

This decorative strip 5 covers the support section 2011 completely or essentially towards the room side II. Here it only essentially covers the support section 2011, since it is applied to the one—single—contact web 2012 on one side, and only on one side. This pier 2012 is visible on room side II.

The decorative element designed as a decorative strip 5 can have a rectangular cross section. It then accordingly has two long sides and two short sides. The decorative element is preferably embodied as a wooden decorative element, but decors other than wood are also conceivable. It is preferably designed as a decorative wooden strip 5 .

The long side of the decorative strip 5 facing the room is also called the decorative side 51 . The other side is also referred to below as the fastening side 52 . The decorative strip 5 then has a decorative side 51 , which is oriented towards the interior side II here, and a fastening side 52 .

The decorative strip 5 rests with its one short side directly on the contact web. The height of the contact bar 2012 preferably corresponds to the height of the short side.

The contact bar 2012 is formed here on the free end of the bar 2010, the outside of which forms the support section 2011. This end is also referred to as the outer edge AK. The contact web 2012 is thus formed here at the end of the support section 2011, which lies towards the frame 1.

However, the contact web 2012 could also be formed at the other end of the support section 2011 . The contact bar 2012 would then be formed at the end of the support section 2011 which is towards the surface element 3 .

Only one contact bar 2012 is provided on each side of the frame on each profile of the casement and/or the window frame. As a result, the straight short side of the decorative strip 5 can be pushed directly up to the contact web 2012 without a gap. This results in a very appealing look towards room side II, on which the decorative strip 5 is provided.

A support web 2013 can be provided on the other side of the support section 2011, on which no contact web 2012 is provided. This end is also referred to as the inner edge IK.

This support bar 2013 is significantly shorter than the contact bar. It is only so high that the sum of its height and the height of the decorative strip 5 corresponds to the height of the 2012 contact bridge.

The edge of the fastening side 52 of the decorative element 5 rests on the support web 2013 . Both webs 2012, 2013 extend perpendicular to the support section 2011 in the direction of the interior side II or in the Y-direction in relation to the coordinate system 2a . The support bar 2013 is therefore not visible towards Room II. On the contrary, essentially only the single contact bar 2012 and the decorative strip 5 itself with its decorative side 51 are visible from the casement frame 2.

The decorative strip 5 can be attached advantageously and simply between the contact web 2012 and the support web 2013 by means of an adhesive - for example by means of one or more adhesive carriers 6 and/or another adhesive on the support section 2011 of the inner metal shell 201 of the casement profile 20.

The height of the contact bar 2013 in the Z-direction can advantageously and preferably be chosen such that the foamed adhesive carrier 6 applied to the contact section 2011 is flush with a free end of the contact bar 2012. As a result, the support web 2013 is completely covered by the decorative element 5, so that the interaction of only one contact web 2012 and the decorative strip 5 results in a visually particularly attractive overall impression.

It is also advantageous that the support web 2013 allows the decorative strip 5 to move parallel to the support section 2011 during the initial assembly or during sorption processes of the decorative strip 5, since the support web 2013 is designed to be correspondingly low. In this respect, a loose bearing is formed by the support web 2013 with respect to a direction of movement parallel to the support section 2011 .

In this way, the decorative strip 5 is brought into position via a first guide surface - namely the support section 2011 and a second guide surface - namely the contact web 2012, which here form a fixed bearing with respect to a direction of movement parallel to the support section 2011, and over the foamed adhesive carrier 6 and adhesive held in position on the two guide surfaces. The foamed adhesive carrier 6 is designed in such a way that it allows the decorative element 5 to move as a result of sorption processes.

In 2 B is a variant of the window 2a shown. Deviating from the variant according to 2a here the inner edge IK—that is, the edge facing the surface element 3—of the support section 2011 has the contact web 2012, to which the decorative strip 5 adjoins with its side surface. In this respect, the support section 2011 and the contact web 2012 form a fixed bearing here in relation to a direction of movement parallel to the support section 2011 .

The decorative strip 5 also covers the support web 2013 here, which is attached here to the outer edge AK—that is, the edge facing away from the surface element 3—of the support section 2011 . In this respect, a loose bearing is formed by the support web 2013 with respect to a direction of movement parallel to the support section 2011 .

In this way, the decorative strip 5 is also brought into position here via two guide surfaces—namely the support section 2011 and the contact web 2012—and held in position via the foamed adhesive carrier 6 and adhesive on the two guide surfaces. The foamed adhesive carrier 6 is designed in such a way that it allows the decorative strip 5 to move as a result of sorption processes.

In 2c is a variant of the window 2a shown. Deviating from the variant according to 2a the decorative strip 5 here in cross section (according to the view of the figure) designed angularly. It can consist of two sections that are assembled at an angle. The bearing surface 2014 of the inner metal shell 201 of the casement profile 20 facing the surface element 3 has a contact web 2015 here. In the 3a until 3b shows that an actuating handle 7 for the sash - i.e. the sash frame 2 with the inserted surface element 3 - is integrated into the construction via a preferably flush rosette 71, with one edge 711a, b of the rosette 71 serving as a guide surface for the decorative elements 5. The surface flushness refers to the decor side 51 of the decor strips.

For this purpose, the decorative strip 5 is divided into at least two sections on one side of the casement 2, with the two sections forming a gap relative to one another and the rosette 71 with the handle 7 being arranged in the gap. The rosette 71 can preferably have a rectangular cross section. The sections can be formed completely separate from each other. The rosette 71 can extend over the width of the support section 2011. The height of the decorative strip 5 above the support surface can be dimensioned in such a way that the decorative strip 5 is flush with the rosette 71—which is advantageous both visually and haptically. The rosette 71 can preferably be made of a metallic material. However, it can also consist of a different material. In this way, it is integrated in a particularly advantageous and simple manner into the decorative strip arrangement of the profile on which it is arranged.

In the 2a the respective decorative element 5 is attached laterally to the longer web 2012 on the outer edge AK of the support section 2011 of the inner metal shell 201 of the casement profile 20 .

Some details of the construction are explained below, which are advantageous but not mandatory with regard to the decorative element.

The respective metal shell 101, 102 can have one or more hollow chambers. In a hollow chamber 105 of the frame profile 10, which is formed by the metal shells 101, 102 and the insulating bars 103, 104, an additional insulating insert 106 is inserted here. A central sealing profile 107 is fastened to the insulating strip 104 facing the frame rebate space F. The insulating strip 202 also has a counter-sealing surface 2021, against which the central sealing profile 107 nestles in the closed position of the sash, whereby the frame rebate space F is sealed. In the glazing rebate space GF formed by the insulating strip 202, the surface element 3 is used, which is designed here as a glazing. The insulating bar 202 also serves as a glazing bead here. It carries a sealing profile 4. The surface element 3 is sealed by the sealing profile 4 against the exterior side I. A further, inner metal shell as part of the casement profile 20 is not provided here, but is conceivable as an option.

In the closed state of the sash, the plug-in seal 4 rests against both the surface element 3 and the web 1011 which the outer metal shell 102 of the window frame profile 10 has. The surface element 3 can be sealed towards the interior side II by a sealing profile 203 that can be inserted in a groove provided for this purpose, which the inner metal shell 201 of the casement profile 10 can have on its side facing the glazing rebate space GF.

In the case of an angular decorative element 5, at least one adhesive carrier 6 is additionally applied to the support side 2014. Two adhesive carriers 6 are preferably applied in each case, which in turn can preferably be arranged at a distance from one another. The fixing of the respective adhesive carrier 6 on the respective frame 1, 2 is preferably carried out by adhesive, which can for example already be applied to the adhesive carrier 6 in the manner of a self-adhesive adhesive 6 and can be exposed by removing a protective tape.

In a further process step, the respective decorative elements 5 are initially placed in an edge region on the respective support web 2013 by means of adhesive and then applied to the respective support web 2012, 2015 by a pivoting movement ( 2e , 2e ).

This method allows a simple and precise installation of the decorative strips on the sash frame or on the window frame.
