Description
The invention relates to a suction nozzle for sucking hard floor surfaces with a nozzle body having on its underside a recess formed as a suction mouth and opening into the suction mouth suction channel for discharging a suction flowing into the suction air stream, and with sealing elements, in the working direction before and after the Suction mouth are arranged and protrude at the bottom of the nozzle body. At least the sealing element arranged in the working direction in front of the suction mouth has flow-through openings for sucking up dirt particles. The suction channel may be connected to the suction head fixed or pivotable about a tilt axis. At the rear end of the suction channel may further be provided a Saugrohranschlussstück which is pivotally connected to the suction channel.
If a suction nozzle with the features described above for sucking slightly soiled hard floor surfaces is used, it must be ensured that sets a sufficient negative pressure within the suction and sucked air with high flow velocity at the bottom of the sealing elements passes, so that dust from the bottom surface and in the suction mouth is transported. It should also be considered in the design of the sealing elements that an intake of slightly larger dirt particles is not impeded too much. Compliance with the above criteria is not a problem if the suction nozzle is operated together with a powerful suction device. If a suction device is used with a less powerful suction fan, this can lead to a significant deterioration of the suction properties. The deterioration of the suction properties on hard floor surfaces is particularly pronounced when the suction nozzle is used in conjunction with a low-performance suction device both for sucking smooth floor surfaces and for sucking uneven floor surfaces and tiled floor surfaces. Smooth floor surfaces are especially parquet and laminate floors as well as polished natural stone floors. Tiled floor surfaces are understood to be hard floors interspersed with joints several millimeters wide. Uneven hard floor surfaces are, for example, cellar floors, stone floors in outdoor facilities and staircases, plastic floors with textured surfaces and the like.
Against this background, the invention has for its object to provide a suction nozzle for sucking hard floor surfaces, which has good suction properties in conjunction with a low-performance suction on both grooved or uneven hard floors as well as smooth hard floor surfaces and dry, finely divided dirt well. As a low-power suction fan, in particular, a suction fan with an electrical power consumption of less than 900 watts is to be regarded in this context.
The object of the invention and solution of this problem is a suction nozzle for sucking hard floor surfaces according to
The basic structure of the suction nozzle includes a nozzle body having on its underside a recess formed as a suction mouth and a suction opening into the suction port for discharging a suction flowing into the suction air suction, and sealing elements, which are arranged in the working direction in front of and behind the suction mouth and on projecting from the bottom of the nozzle body. At least the sealing element arranged in the working direction in front of the suction mouth has flow-through openings for sucking up dirt particles. According to the invention a shielding device for changing the free flow cross section of the flow opening is provided, which is switchable by means of a arranged on the nozzle body switching element between a first functional position for sucking smooth hard floor surfaces and a second functional position for sucking uneven hard floor surfaces and / or tile floors, the free total flow cross section of Throughflow openings in the second functional position is less than 200 mm 2 , preferably less than 150 mm 2 , and is smaller than in the first functional position.
The free total flow cross section of the flow openings does not result from the sum concealed gaps and / or uncovered openings, which are preferably provided in the longitudinal direction of the sealing element in a uniform distribution as possible. The feature is realized when the air permeability corresponds to an opening having a cross section of less than 200 mm 2 , preferably less than 150 mm 2 .
According to the invention, the suction space below the nozzle is effectively sealed outwards in order to maintain the suction vacuum, but without obstructing the suction of dirt particles too much. The values according to the invention with respect to the free total flow cross section of the flow openings take into account the fact that with a movement of the suction nozzle over grooved and uneven hard floor surfaces air flows into the suction of the suction nozzle, which are sucked over the recesses of joints and bumps and dirt particles from the joints and entrain adjacent floor areas. If the suction nozzle according to the invention is used for sucking smooth hard floor surfaces, the shielding device releases a larger overall free flow cross section of the flow openings. This ensures that even in the first functional position, a sufficiently large suction air flow is supplied to the suction mouth, which effectively removes dirt particles in the suction mouth and supplies them to the suction channel. In this case, the flow-through openings allow dirt particles which rest on a smooth hard floor surfaces to be run over by suction movements of the suction nozzle and in this way reach the suction mouth, where they are detected by the air flow and transported away. If the shielding device for changing the free flow cross section of the flow openings is in the first functional position for sucking smooth hard floor surfaces, the free flow cross section of the flow openings at least by a factor of 1.5 greater than in the second functional position, for the suction of tile floors and uneven Hard floor surfaces is provided.
In der ersten Funktionsstellung beträgt der strömungswirksame freie Gesamtströmungsquerschnitt des Dichtungselementes vorzugsweise 100 mm2 bis 300 mm2.According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the flow-through openings of the sealing element arranged in the working direction in front of the suction mouth have a free total flow cross-section between 20 mm 2 and 120 mm 2 , if the shielding device is in the second functional position for sucking uneven hard floor surfaces and / or tile floors. In the first functional position, the flow-effective free total flow cross-section of the sealing element is preferably 100 mm 2 to 300 mm 2 .
An advantageous embodiment of the suction nozzle according to the invention provides that the two arranged in the suction direction in front of and behind the suction mouth sealing elements are designed as bearing sealing elements and each have flow openings for sucking dirt particles and that the shielding device acts on both sealing elements, wherein the free total flow cross-section of the flow openings in the second functional position on both sealing elements is less than 200 mm 2 , preferably less than 150 mm 2 , and is smaller than the free flow cross section in the first functional position of the shielding device.
The aforementioned information for the free total flow cross section of the provided in the sealing elements flow openings based on a working width of the nozzle body of not more than 350 mm and apply to sealing elements with a length between 200 mm and 300 mm.
At the ends of the suction mouth, it is expedient to arrange lateral suction-chamber boundaries which bridge the distance between the front sealing element and the rear sealing element. The suction mouth, the sealing elements and the lateral Saugraumbegrenzungen limit a suction chamber at the bottom of the nozzle body, which is peripherally sealed off, wherein suction air flows through bottom through-flow openings between the front seal member and a flat bottom surface and between the rear seal member and the bottom surface. By means of the adjustable between two operating positions shielding the inflowing in the sealing elements suction air flow is variable and can be adapted to the soil conditions. So that the suction mouth works effectively over its entire length, it must also be ensured that a sufficient air flow at the ends enters the suction channel. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the lateral Saugraumbegrenzungen therefore have an air inlet opening or end above the lower edge of the sealing elements, wherein they define a bottom air inlet opening. Suitably, the lateral boundaries of an air-impermeable element and have a lower edge, which is located 2 mm to 5 mm above the lower edge of the sealing elements. The lower edge may be formed in particular as a straight edge. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the air inlet openings at the ends of the suction mouth regardless of the functional position of the shielding effect, so that both when sucking smooth hard floor surfaces as well as sucking tile floors or uneven hard floor surfaces at the ends of the suction chamber sufficient air flow for transporting the in the dirt mouth entering the suction mouth is ready.
The suction mouth expediently has a rectangular base. The depth of the suction mouth preferably changes from the mouth region to the ends of the suction mouth. The change in the cross-sectional profile can be chosen so that the flow velocity within the suction mouth remains approximately constant from the ends of the suction mouth to the mouth region of the suction channel. The sealing elements arranged in the working direction in front of and behind the suction mouth are expediently aligned parallel to one another and are preferably arranged on the edge of the suction mouth.
The sealing elements are expediently designed as load-bearing strip-shaped sealing elements. In particular, they may consist of bristle strips with a dense bristle stocking. A dense bristle lining is present when the bristle strip is opaque in the side view and contains no gaps through which air can freely flow from the outside into the suction space. Furthermore, the sealing elements may consist of strips of textile material or felt. Suitably, the strip-shaped sealing elements have a width of less than 20 mm and preferably a width of 5 mm to 15 mm. These can have bottom-side notches or a bottom-side profile with recesses.
For the structural design of the shielding, which is determined in the context of the teaching of the invention for changing the free flow cross section of the provided on the sealing elements through-flow, results in a plurality of possibilities. A first embodiment provides that the shielding device has a vertically adjustable carrier and sealing lips attached thereto, wherein the flow openings of the sealing elements can be at least partially closed by a lifting movement of the carrier. The sealing lips directly adjoin the sealing elements. The vertically adjustable support with the sealing lips attached thereto may be disposed on the outside of the nozzle body or within the space enclosed by the nozzle body and the sealing elements. According to a second preferred embodiment of the invention, the sealing elements provided with flow openings are fastened to a vertically adjustable support, which is adjustable as part of the shielding device between a first functional position for sucking smooth hard floor surfaces and a second functional position for sucking uneven hard floor surfaces and / or tile floors, and the nozzle body has sealing lips arranged on the underside, which are adjacent to the vertically adjustable sealing elements and at least partially close the flow-through openings of the sealing elements when the carrier is in the second functional position. According to a third embodiment variant, the shielding device has slidably mounted or pivotably mounted sealing strips, by the actuation of which the flow-through openings of the sealing elements can be closed.
