Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Werkzeugmaschine, die in der Lage ist, eine Späneabfuhreffizienz zu erhöhen und eine Arbeitseffizienz zu verbessern mit einer verbesserten Zugänglichkeit zu einer Spindel. Eine Werkzeugmaschine nach der vorliegenden Erfindung ist so aufgebaut, dass eine Ausnehmung, mit einer rückwärtsweisenden Seite und einer aufwärtsweisenden Seite derselben geöffnet, an einem Mittelabschnitt eines Bettes ausgebildet ist, Y-Achsen-Führungsschienen und Y-Achsen-Kugelspindeln (Antriebswellen) zum Führen und Antreiben des Sattels an rechten und linken Sattelträgern (Kanten) der Ausnehmung angeordnet sind und mit rechten und linken Y-Achsen-Schneidabdeckungen abgedeckt sind, wobei die rechten und linken Y-Achsen-Schneidabdeckungen in einer geneigten Form ausgebildet sind, mit der Ausnehmungsseite derselben weiter nach unten geführt, und ein Späneaufnehmer zum Abführen von Spänen, die in die Ausnehmung gefallen sind, zu einer nach hinten weisenden Seite des Bettes der Ausnehmung angeordnet ist.
