0,1 bis 80 Massenprozent an Aluminiumverbindungen, und 0,1 bis 80 Massenprozent an Kohlenstoff oder Kohlenstoffverbindungen
enthalten, in den Feuerungsraum oder in die Rauchgase eingebracht werden. Dort wandeln sie oberhalb von 180°C die Halogene und Halogenverbindungen im Rauchgas in weniger reaktive oder korrosive Halogenverbindungen um.
