Description

  • Hautverträgliche Träger-Paste bzw. Salbengrundlage Es ist seit langem bekannt, daß Silikonverbindungen sich durch physiologische Indifferenz auszeichnen; insbesondere verhalten sie sich der Haut gegenüber völlig passiv. Ebenso weiß man über ihre Verträglichkeit mit Heilmitteln aus der Zeitschrift »Die Medizinische«, 1952, S. r631 ff., daß Penicillin in Silikonpaste besonders lange haltbar ist. Aus diesen Gründen sind für die Herstellung von Salben und Pasten Silikonöle als Grundstoffe sehr geeignet.
  • Pasten, die aus einem Silikonöl und Alkalistearat bestehen, sind als Schmiermittel bekannt. Weiterhin ist bekanntgeworden, Silikonöle dadurch in Pastenform überzuführen, daß man sie mit feinverteilter Kieselsäure verdickt. Auch diese Pasten sind als Schmierfette empfohlen worden.
  • Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine in einfacher Weise herzustellende Paste von hervorragender Hautverträglichkeit, enthaltend ein Silikonöl und eine Calciumseife. Diese Paste ist vorzüglich brauchbar als Trägersubstanz für Wirkstoffe, wie sie in der Dermatologie üblicherweise verwendet werden.
  • In der erfindungsgemäßen Form sind Silikonöle in eine sehr stabile Pastenform übergeführt, die nicht zu störenden Entmischungserscheinungen neigt.
  • Als Silikonkomponente sind geeignet alle aus Alkylpolysiloxanen bestehenden Sil;ikonöle, vorzugsweise solche, bei denen das Verhältnis der Alkylgruppen:zum Silicium etwa 2 : 1 ist, insbesondere Polydimethylsiloxan.
  • Für die Herstellung stabiler Pasten aus Silikonölen und Alkalistearat sind besondere Maßnahmen erforderlich und beschrieben worden; z. B. wird empfohlen, die beiden zu verpastenden Bestandteile in gemeinsamen Lösungsmitteln bei höherer Temperatur zu lösen und aus der Mischung das Lösungsmittel abzudestillieren. Im Gegensatz dazu gelingt die Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Paste allein durch mechanisches Einarbeiten der Seife in das Silikonöl. Vorteilhafterweise werden dabei Misch- und Knetvorrichtungen verwendet, bei denen das Material sowohl durch Druck wie durch Scherkräfte beansprucht wird. Das günstigste Mengenverhältnis der beiden Komponenten ist je nach der Art und Wirksamkeit des verwendeten Silikonöles sowie je nach der Art der Seife verschieden. Im allgemeinen liegt der Bereich optimaler Mischungen um 1 : 1.
  • Beispiel Man mischt 47 Gewichtsteile Calciumstearat mit 53 Gewichtsteilen eines aus Polydimethylsiloxan bestehenden Silikonöles, dessen Viskosität bei 350C etwa Zoo cSt beträgt. Die Mischung wird in, der Weise vorgenommen, daß zunächst in einem Kneter das Silikonöl vorgelegt, dann, das Calciumstearat eingetragen und: das Gemisch sodann durch einstündiges Verarbeiten homogenisiert wird. Anschließend wird es über einen Walzenstuhl gegeben. Es entsteht eine sehr gleichmäßige und glatte Paste. Der Hauptanteil der Calciumstearatteilchen hat einen Durchmesser von 1 Mikron, einzelne Teilchen bis zu 3 Mikron. Die Paste ist leicht verteilbar, sparsam im Gebrauch und physiologisch indifferent.
